| Race 1 | Super Pets Dash - C1 - 295 | RULEBOOK RAY and DANCING NORRIS were the slowest from the traps. RULEBOOK RAY was tightened along the inside into the bend and dropped to the rear with DANCING NORRIS also receiving a check at this stage and losing ground. |
| Race 2 | Challenge Opawa All Up Sprint - C0 - 295 | UPSALA JEWEL ran inwards at the jump checking FROGGY NEWITT on to YELLOW DIAMONDS with these two runners settling at the rear. JOHNNYS BLUE was checked into the bend and lost ground with FROGGY NEWITT being forced wide as a result. In the home straight FROGGY NEWITT ran inwards contacting CARELESS TALK in the final stages. |
| Race 3 | Business Time @ Stud Sprint - C1 - 295 | CRIXUS was last to jump. TIE MY TIE ran outwards soon after the jump dictating the line of CRIXUS and FURIOUS RESPONSE for a few strides. Wider out OPAWA DOLL ran outwards inconveniencing OKUKU LILLY. Into the bend OKUKU LILLY ran inwards causing tightening to FURIOUS RESPONSE and CRIXUS. Soon after MERMAN JEWEL checked outwards off the back of FURIOUS RESPONSE. |
| Race 4 | Kolorful Kanvas Dash - C0 - 295 | HURRICANE HOLMES and AVEC LAMOUR were the last to jump. NIKAU DANNY ran outwards soon after the jump checking ANOTHER JAK UP and JAMES ARTHUR who lost ground. NIKAU DANNY and ANOTHER JAK UP again came together into the bend when in midfield. On the home turn WHAT A DUMP ran wide ensuring that JAMES ARTHUR covered extra ground. |
| Race 5 | David Emerson Consultancy Stakes - C0 - 520 | NITRO EXPRESS ran outwards soon after the jump and checked PIED WARRIOR with these two runners settling at the rear. BUBBA WHO and PIED WARRIOR came together into the first bend with BUBBA WHO dropping to the rear. Shortly after the finish SILVIA SUE fell and clipping heels with BUBBA WHO and FUR PATROL unable to avoid her and also losing their footing. Post race veterinary checks of these dogs revealed no injuries. |
| Race 6 | Carol's T.A.B Dash - C1 - 295 | In a roughly contested opening phase HOMEBUSH JONTY ran outwards checking HOMEBUSH DAPHNE, CAWBOURNE CASEY and FULLA PRIDE while wider out CHIPEWYAN ran inwards checking SYRIPS GIRL. CAWBOURNE CASEY and HOMEBUSH JONTY came together in the run to the bend and soon after CAWBOURNE CASEY, KNOW LOVE AFFAIR and FULLA PRIDE came together when in amongst a tightly compacted group. A post race veterinary check of CAWBOURNE CASEY revealed no injury. |
| Race 7 | Hampden Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295 | WANDY OLIVIA angled outwards soon after the jump tightening BELFAST GLENDA, HOMEBUSH NICK and PADDO SCORE while wider out BOTANY HORNET ran inwards with PADDO SCORE and HOMEBUSH NICK again being tightened and settling at the rear. |
| Race 8 | Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C2 - 295 | SWIP TASTIC checked outwards into the bend contacting CAWBOURNE TOBES who lost ground. Soon after LIGHTNING FEVER also checked outwards pushing WHERES MY SEAT wide around that bend. |
| Race 9 | Wilson's Sports Bar & T.A.B Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 1 | ALCATRAZ BOY dropped to the rear soon after the jump and remained last in a gap throughout. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. BIG GIRL WELSHY was slightly tightened into the first bend and lost some momentum. On the home turn an improving FUN TIME GIRL checked off the back of MR. MUTOLA losing momentum. She ran on well for second. |
| Race 10 | Wilson's Sports Bar & T.A.B Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 2 | LINDOP shifted outwards in the early stages placing MIGHTY PROPHET and WOT PRICE CURLY in tight quarters with thses runners losing ground. On the first bend INGA THE WINGA checked off the back of HOMEBUSH GWEN with both runners losing ground. They remained in a gap behind the field with post race veterinary checks revealing that INGA THE WINGA had tied up with no stand down deemed necessary. No injury was found with HOMEBUSH GWEN with handler Jonathan McInerney advising Stewards that this bitch would be restricted to sprints in her immediate assignments. |
| Race 11 | racingdogs.co.nz Dash - C1 - 295 | OKUKU WEE MAN ran outwards in the initial stages checking CAWBOURNE CHLOE who lost ground. Into the bend PURE THEATRE checked outwards off OKUKU WEE MAN into the path of GOTTA FIND BUBBA with both dogs running very wide and losing their chances. Stewards viewed the replays to establish whether any marring had occurred. It was found that PURE THEATRE after checking outwards came into solid contact with GOTTA FIND BUBBA which caused PURE THEATRE to be turned and dragged down running directly outwards with the resultant check to GOTTA FIND BUBBA with no voluntary turning of the head being established. Stewards deemed that no further action was necessary. Post race veterinary check of these dogs revealed no injuries. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Dash - C2 - 295 | HOMEBUSH KITTY and WATERHOUSE were the last to jump. Into the bend TRICKY HARRY and EL KILDA were placed in tight quarters with both runners losing momentum. TRICKY HARRY recovered well to run fourth. |
