| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C3/4 - 295 | BRUNO was last to jump. On the home turn WHERES JOHN CEE checked wide off the back of RAISINS who had angled inwards. WHERES JOHN CEE dropped out to finish last after his check. |
| Race 2 | Flair Sprint - C3 - 295 | SWIPER BEEJAY was tightened into the bend losing momentum with OSWALD BOATENG being inconvenienced for a few strides in behind her. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C5 - 295 | The well supported CAWBOURNE FELIX was the last to jump. EXCITING KYLE shifted outwards slightly soon after the jump causing JED NORTON to check to the inside to find room. |
| Race 4 | Angler's Arms Tavern Dash - C3 - 295 | GOT THE JUICE and DOGGER BANK made contact soon after the jump with DOGGER BANK dropping to the rear. Into the bend OUR SWEET ROSE was badly dragged down by HOMEBUSH BORIS and dropped to the rear with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. HOMEBUSH BORIS also lost ground in this incident. |
| Race 5 | Garrard's Horse & Hound Stakes - C2 - 520 | THRILLING JONAH ran outwards soon after dispatch coming together with SEISMIC STORM. On the first bend THRILLING JONAH checked outwards off the back of BLACK EMILY and dropped to the rear. At the end of the back straight an improving favourite BLACK EMILY ran inwards checking ICEBERG RAPPER who lost ground and dropped to the rear. |
| Race 6 | Canteen-Supporting Young Kiwis Living With Cancer Dash - C3/4 - 295 | LOTSA STYLE came up with the lids and settled last. Into the bend JACKSON CAT and KELBY HAKA came together losing momentum. LOTSA STYLE then improved along the inside of these runners and made solid contact with JACKSON CAT who was badly checked and dropped to the rear. A post race veterinary check of JACKSON CAT revealed no injury. |
| Race 7 | Buy Sell & Exchange Stakes - C3/4 - 520 | OPAWA JOHNNY was the last to jump. Into the first bend GEOFF THE REF angled inwards causing tightness to runners inside him with SABRE DANCE running out of room and falling. She regained her paws and finished the race with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. GEOFF THE REF checked off the rear of WATERVIEW LASS at the end of the back straight when improving causing GEOFF THE REF to lose momentum. After overcoming this check GEOFF THE REF ran on well for fourth. |
| Race 8 | Borat At Stud Dash - C5 - 295 | MISS CHANDON and CAWBOURNE COOKIE were a shade slow to jump. MISS CHANDON was tightened and lost ground in the run to the bend. On the bend FOUR BY TWO checked outwards off FREDDIE BAXTER losing ground with MISS CHANDON again being inconvenienced in behind. |
| Race 9 | greyhoundtips.co.nz Stakes - C3 - 520 | CROSSFIRE MAX was last to jump. CROSS TO DAPTO ran outwards on the first bend contacting THRILLING SADIE who lost momentum. On the home turn LAGOON BEACH BOY checked off the back of HOMEBUSH WILD these runners were at the rear. |
| Race 10 | Shirley Veterinary Centre Stakes - C5 - 520 | ULTIMATE DREAM was the last to jump. KNOW WHICH and SAM I AM brished together for a stride soon after the jump. On the first bend BADJA BALE checked off the back of CYNTHIA BAXTER and lost some momentum. |
| Race 11 | Jet Pets Dash - C5 - 295 | AWESOME BENDER and KNOW ATTENTION were the last to jump. HOMEBUSH HELEN was tightened and lost ground along the inside as kennelmate CAWBOURNE MOFF crossed to the rail with PURE AND SPECIAL being impeded in behind HOMEBUSH HELEN and dropping to the rear. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C3/4 - 295 | VAMPIRES SHADOW was the last to jump from the inside. Soon after the jump HARD HABITS ran inwards while REAL CLEVER wanted to get to the outside. In between these runners GENISTA GARDENS, HOMEBUSH SARGE and SISSI were all tightened and lost ground. REAL CLEVER continued to run outwards into the bend checking HOMEBUSH SARGE once more. Soon after VAMPIRES SHADOW ran outwards checking SISSI who lost ground with ANOTHER GON being pushed wider. On the bend GENISTA GARDENS ran outwards coming into contact with ANOTHER GON who was pushed even wider and lost his chance. |
