Track: Good The track was presented in a very good racing order with all other equipment working well
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: CAWBOURNE MADZ escaped from the kennel block when being put in the weighing cage due to the the previous handler not latching the gate after removing their dog
CAWBOURNE MADZ was recaptured and returned to the kennel block and revetted with no abnormalities found so was then weighed and kenneled
CAWBOURNE MADZ was checked again by the vet at pre race preperations and was cleared to start and duly won the race
The kennel staff have been advised that in future it is their responsibility to make sure that the cage door in front is securly fastened
New trainer Trent Agent was reminded of his obligation to make sure that he is aware of the correct reporting times when being late for pre race presentation for THRILLING SIMONE in race one today

Race 1	The Brownzy Sports Bar Sprint - C1/2 - 318	Racing in to the firstr turn REGAL TENT raced across to the lead causing TEAM JACOB to have to check back of his heels losing a couple of lengths ,TEAM JACOB then ran out wide taking the racing line of EXCITING DREAM who was checked back from a handy position at this point also losing a few lengths , a few strides further on EXCITING DREAM came down on to KID KOONAWARRA causing him to become unbalanced for several strides as the field made their way towards the home turn ,KID KOONAWARRA recovered well to finish in 3rd placing at the line
Race 2	Auckland Vending Sprint - C0 - 318	LITTLE BITTY GAL missed the start by 3 lengths As the field entered the home straight HAIR SHE IS ran in to the hind quarters of HOT LASS and fell ,this resulted in HOT LASS going down on her hind legs and bumping in to LITTLE BITTY GAL who was attempting to make ground at that point HAIR SHE IS recovered her footing to finish on to the lure and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found HOT LASS was also sent for a vet check with a long head triceps muscle injury with a 10 day stand down recommended
Race 3	Jack's Wholesale Meats Series Final - C1f - 318	There were initial concerns regarding the length of the lure in the early stages of the race The Stewards reviewed the start several time and are of the opinion that the boxes opened correctly and that lure was no more then the required distance and that the race was all clear TEN FOUR was difficult to box away today with a couple of handlers helping shut the door ,this will be addressed at his next start CHERRY TREE LANE was slowest away by a couple of lengths ,she then had to check off the heels of HOTWAX when trying to improve in to the first turn
Race 4	Welcome Back Little Mother Sprint - C1/2 - 318	On the point of the home turn BOMBER MAN and DEE KAY EM came together for a couple of strides
Race 5	Jo's TAB Onehunga Sprint - C4 - 318	ROLLED OATS had been pawing in his kennel pre race and was given a precautionary vet check prior to going to the parade ring and was vetted fit to start GEMZ was slow away by several lengths Racing in to the first turn MISS ARKANSAS was in the lead with ROLLED OATS on her outer ,LOCHINVAR YASI(fav) making ground towards the lead came down on to ROLLED OATS with these two runners tangling and both dogs stumbled going backwards ,RIPPED JEANS was directly in behind ROLLED OATS at this point and ran up on the heels of ROLLED OATS then ran outwards taking BINGO STARR wide around the top bend covering a fair amount of extra ground RIPPED JEANS ran on strongly in the home straight for 2nd placing and could be considered an unlucky runner BINGO STARR went for a vet check and was found to have sustained a dew claw injury with a 7 day stand down recommended
Race 6	Sels TAB Mangere Stakes - C3/4 - 527	Racing around the first turn ASCENDING FORCE and MONSHIRAZ came together with ASCENDING FORCE going back a length or two at that point In behind them THRILLING SNEAK was tightened several times with runners coming across where he could not get clear racing room when trying to improve in the early stages
Race 7	Greyhound Function Centre Sprint - C4/5 - 318	Racing down to the first turn BLUE JEAN ALICE came across on to BAD STATE and FANCY MILLY causing them to check ,a couple of strides further on BAD STATE got on the heels of BLUE JEAN ALICE as this runner attempted to cross towards the rail BAD STATE lost several lengths at this point going back on to WINSOME ACHEIVER who was checked and forced to run out wide in avoiding heels
Race 8	Craik Racing Stakes - C1/2 - 527	CRAFTY GRAHAM (fav) was only fairly away from the boxes and was forced to race wide in to the first turn ,on the point of the bend first turn CRAFTY GRAHAM attempted to come down towards the rail but was hampered when running in to EXCUSABLE as this runner moved outwards CRAFTY GRAHAM lost a couple of lengths at this point and was pushed wider out on the track ,he failed to make ground from there on in finishing a few lengths in the rear at the line and was sent for a vet check where he was found to be suffering pain reaction on flexion of both hocks with a 14 day stand down recommended
Race 9	$15,000 Pick Six Sprint - C1 - 318	Racing down to the first turn NAUGHTY COURTY was trying to get down to the rail and came across on to THRILLING KITE pushing her over in to the line of LAMAR'S LADY who went up in the air and back on to EXCITING GIRL ,who ran up on the back of LAMAR'S LADY and dragging her down on to her hindquarters losing her footing with EXCITING GIRL with both runners falling at this point Both runners recovered their footing to finish on to the lure a distance behind the field EXCITING GIRL and LAMAR'S LADY were sent for vet checks LAMAR'S LADY was found to be suffering from right intraspanutus muscle soreness with a 10 day stand down recommended EXCITING GIRL was found to have suffered right biceps muscle soreness with a 14 day stand down recommended
Race 10	Auckland Anniversary Day Cup - C5 - 527	racing down to the first turn LOCHINVAR VALERO came across as BENNY ROX (fav) moved out with THREE INCH NAIL being tightened and squeezed back from in between them where he was forced to change ground outwards then tried to get down in to the field and he ran in to BENNY ROX who was tightened in to LOCHINVAR LAREDO and went back towards the rear losing several lengths at that point THREE INCH NAIL got down to the rail and finished on for 3rd placing at the line ,BENNY ROX was not able to make the lost ground back up finishing in 6th placing at the line
Race 11	Magness Benrow Quaddie Sprint - C3 - 318	CAWBOURNE MADZ escaped from the kennel block at kenneling when being put in the weighing cage the front door had not been latched CAWBOURNE MADZ ran up to the carpark and was quickly captured and returned to be examined by the vet where the dog was passed fit to race and was duly kennelled and was revetted prior to going out to race and was all clear Racing in to the first turn LACHLAN VALLEY changed ground outwards to avoid heels forcing SAFARI PARTY and CULLEN'S IMPACT wide across and around the top turn ,these runners covered a lot of extra ground due to this incident with SAFARI PARTY becoming unbalanced for several strides and was observed to be lame on returning to the kennel block The connections of SAFARI PARTY requested a vet check on this runner and she was found to have suffered a right hind metatarsal fracture with a 8 week stand down recommended
Race 12	Adelaide Sister City Tour Stakes - C1 - 527	As the feild raced in to the first turn THRILLING MARCH was tightened for room ,having to check back off heels where he went back to the rear ,soon after PAMPEST came across on to HOT POOTIE causing this runner to be tightened and lose a length or so
Race 13	City Of Sails Sprint Series Final - C5f - 318	CAPTAIN COUTTS was slowest away by several lengths , he made good ground throughout there after finishing strongly for 3rd placing at the line Soon after the start KISSIN KATE attempted to get out wide as CAPTAIN CARLOS came across with MOTHERLEE being tightened and pushed as she tried to clear these runners ,MOTHERLEE then raced over towards the rail coming in on KISSIN KATE and PUNK DINO with CAPTAIN CARLOS again coming across causing these runners to be tightened and checked where they all went back to the rear ,with PUNK DINO recovering to finish strongly also in to 4th placing at the line
Race 14	Carols TABS Sprint - C4 - 318	Racing down to the first turn AUSTIN WILD and SWIFT SWINGER came together with AUSTIN WILD losing a length at that point GENTLE ATTACK was near the lead at this point and was bumped by SWIFT SWINGER resulting in GENTLE ATTACK getting on the wrong leg as they started turning and ran straight ahead taking CORPORAL JONES almost to the outside fence CORPORAL JONES stayed wide throughout the journey and ran a very credible close up 6th placing at the line Racing in to the home straight GENTLE ATTACK and SOOTY'S ESTATE were well back with SOOTY'S ESTATE racing across towards the rail causing GENTLE ATTACK to check back off his heels The Stewards had a look at the replay for a possible marring on CORPORAL JONES by GENTLE ATTACK but it was quickly established that GENTLE ATTACK was having great difficulty in getting around the corner and his head and body carriage was a reflection of that
