Judicial report: Trainer J.McInerney was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 88.1 o ( negligent ) for breaches of Rules 68.2 & 68.6 when MY GIRL MARINA and HOMEBUSH BRUCE were not presented for kennelling by the required time.

Race 1	Cafe'Cibo Sprint C5 - C5 - 305	This event was started 3 minutes late when it was reported to the Stewards that on arrival at the start point, RONS SECRET was suspected to be in season. The dog was examined by the Vet who confirmed RONS SECRET was in season and she was declared a late scratching. The race was all clear.
Race 2	Wellington GRC Committee Dash C4 - C4 - 305	LIL LARRIKIN jumped on terms with the other runners but was checked soon after losing four lengths and she then ran wide on the bend and into the straight and finished in last place.
Race 3	Peter Campbell Engravers Ltd C2 - C2 - 520	OKUKU STAR shifted in from the start and checked TEPIRITA ALI and WALK DA TORQUE who both lost ground and settled at the rear. HOMEBUSH MELL checked off the back of OKUKU STAR on the first corner and shifted out forcing WHAT A MATE wide on the first bend over extra ground. WALK DA TORQUE checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH MELL entering the back straight and he went back and out causing a check to TEPIRITA ALI and they both lost ground.
Race 4	B. & P. Engineering Ltd- C2 Ht1 - C2q - 305 Heat 1	SINGLE SCULLER was handy going to the first corner but was checked and went back onto NUTS FOR SURE and BLUESKY WONDER who both lost four lengths and they stayed back to finish at the rear. NUTS FOR SURE was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with wrist pain.
Race 5	Gold Band Finance C3/4 - C3/4 - 520	THRILLING QUEST shifted out going to the first corner and this resulted in crowding and jostling to BASILIO BALE, FEARSOME MCKAY, MR JAZZ MAN and TARRA MAGIC. TARRA MAGIC recovered the best of those affected and she went to the lead soon after. Soon after, TEPIRITA TIKI shifted in and checked MR JAZZ MAN who lost ground.
Race 6	B. & P. Engineering Sprint-Ht 2 - C2q - 305 Heat 2	THUNDA THIGHS was checked going to the first corner and lost ground. MARLENES GIRL was checked on the first corner and she went back onto CAWBOURNE DRAG with both dogs losing four lengths and they finished at the rear.
Race 7	"Opawa Racing" Wellington Cup C5 Ht1 (Group 1) - C5q - 520 Heat 1	CALLAHAN was checked soon after the start and again on the first corner and he settled at the rear. He then drifted off the back of the field as the race progressed and finished several lengths last. While CALLAHAN is better known as a sprinter and appeared to tire, he was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury. THRILLING RANSOM and BOTANY ANN bumped together on the first bend and BOTANY ANN shifted out forcing YELLA MUSTARD to race wide and lose ground. SIDESHOW BOB appeared lame following the race, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with wrist pain.
Race 8	Wellington Champion Sprint C5 Ht 1 - C5q - 305 Heat 1	The favourite COOL IZMIR began awkwardly and shifted in onto CIAO FOR NOW and lost a little ground. A few strides further on COOL IZMIR was tightened when SPEEDY LEESHELLE shifted in forcing ANOTHER LADY onto his line and CIAO FOR NOW shifted out and he settled back in the field. COOL IZMIR clipped the heels of BLUE JEAN ALICE in the home straight and fell and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with minor bruising.
Race 9	"Opawa Racing" Wellington Cup C5 Ht 2 (Group 1) - C5q - 520 Heat 2	KAZZ RAZZ shifted in sharply when jumping from the boxes and checked the favourite LITTLE MOTHER who lost ground. LITTLE MOTHER had to change ground outwards soon after when FREDDY JOHN shifted in across her running line and LITTLE MOTHER made contact with PRETTY GOOD and they both settled near the rear. LITTLE MOTHER and PRETTY GOOD then raced a little wide on the first bend and they could not make up the lost ground and finished in 6th and 7th places.
Race 10	Anglo Upholsterers Ltd. C3 - C3 - 520	EMMA MARIE shifted in from the start and checked the favourite SHODSIE and EFF FIVE WARNING. SHODSIE and WANDY KYLE were checked on the first corner losing ground and going back to the rear. SHODSIE was held up for a few strides on the final bend and he finished in 5th place.
Race 11	Wellington Champion Sprint C5 Ht2 - C5q - 305 Heat 2	THEODORE WEST shifted in from the start and checked TWENTY SIXTY who lost ground and settled at the rear. STATELY BABE shifted in on the first corner and caused checks to IMA SPICE, MOLLY DARLING and THEODORE WEST and all three dogs lost ground and all chance of a first four placing.
Race 12	"N.Z.Futurity" 18th May - C3 - 305	DIRECT RESPONSE and REQUEST FUNDING came together and jostled for a few strides going to the first corner and REQUEST FUNDING lost two lengths but recovered and with the aid of a clear rails run, he made up ground to finish in 2nd place. LARA PINTER was checked and forced wide going into the bend and he covered extra ground and finished in last place.
