Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: RED LABEL PENNY, a stand down from Wanganui on 18 October, was checked by Veterinarian Lesley Roberts in the presence of Stewards and found to have no apparent injury. The stand down is therefore rescinded under Rule 82.5. OKUKU OLLIE ( R Casey) completed a satisfactory trial in blinkers and will wear these blinkers in future races as per Rule 68.22.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C4 - 295	JED NORTON, HOMEBUSH LIGNITE and SOSAN were the slowest to jump. Into the bend JACKSON CAT ran outwards and pushed UNO HARRIET into the path of LIAM BALE who dropped to the rear. JED NORTON was also checked in this incident. A post race veterinary check of LIAM BALE revealed a torn gracilis with a 28 day stand down recommended.
Race 2	Jet Pets Dash - C3 - 295	HARMONY BAXTER was keen to get off the rail into the bend with this causing tightening to TRILOGY SERIES, GENISTA LIGHTNIN and ANYTIME WILL DO with these runners dropping to the rear.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C5 - 295	KNOW ATTENTION was last to jump. CAWBOURNE LISA was tightened soon after the jump and dropped to the rear. Into the bend RUSSELL HART angled outwards with FLIP THE DICE receiving a check and dropping to the rear. A post race veterinary check of FLIP THE DICE revealed no injury.
Race 4	I Pave Concrete Sprint - C4 - 295	KNOW ESCAPE and RENNERS GIFT were both a shade slow to jump. As ANOTHER GON crossed to the rail in the early stages he contacted both EXCITING KYLE and WHERES JOHN CEE with ANOTHER GON being turned sideways at this point. These three dogs lost their chances in this incident. Into the bend AINT THAT COOL was checked and lost ground as an improving KNOW ESCAPE crossed to the rail.
Race 5	Yaldhurst Hotel Sprint - C3 - 295	GOT THE JUICE was last to jump. Into the bend OUR SWEET ROSE and CAWBOURNE HARVEY came together when towards the rear and lost ground.
Race 6	Borat At Stud Stakes - C1/2 - 520	STAR CHICA and ERICS SONG were slow to jump. Into the first bend HOMEBUSH IRIS ran inwards and contacted ULTIMATE SPICE with HOMEBUSH IRIS losing a couple of lengths. Wider out ERICS SONG angled inwards and contacted THRILLING JONAH who had checked outwards after the initial incident. As a result ERICS SONG stumbled and dropped to the rear with a post race veterinary check revealing post race hypoxia with a ten day stand down recommended. STAR CHICA was also inconvenienced at this stage losing ground with her veterinary check revealing a hip support injury with a ten day stand down recommended.
Race 7	Canteen-Supporting Young Kiwis Living With Cancer Dash - C5 - 295	DONT FORGET JET was the last to jump. ALBIES LAD and CAWBOURNE DUSTY came together soon after the jump and settled at the rear. These two runners then were tightened into the bend and lost more ground staying at the rear.
Race 8	Clarkson Sign Studio Stakes - C3 - 520	CROSS TO DAPTO was hard to box for this event. It was established that the handler knuckled over when boxing the dog thus causing the difficulty. OPAWA JOHNNY and CAWBOURNE JAKE were the last to jump.
Race 9	Buy Sell & Exchange Sprint - C5 - 295	HOMEBUSH HELEN angled inwards in the back straight tightening ONE COOL CAT, SISSI and RUN FOR IT with the latter two runners losing many lengths. RUN FOR IT appeared to clip the rail at this stage with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. Soon after ONE COOL CAT was badly checked in between CHEETAH WOODS and FIREMANS SALUTE losing momentum. ONE COOL CAT did well to recover for fourth.
Race 10	Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C4/5 - 520	LAGOON BEACH BOY was last to jump. BOTANY KELLY was handy into the first bend but was pushed wide and lost ground.
Race 11	Murray@Ray White Ph.3715005 Dash - C5 - 295	PURE AND SPECIAL ran inwards after a few metres checking CAWBOURNE LEVI and KNOW ADVANTAGE who lost ground. Into the bend KNOW ADVANTAGE angled outwards with CAWBOURNE LEVI and PURE AND SPECIAL receiving checks and losing ground.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295	ROCK CAKES and CAWBOURNE FLIPPA were the last to jump. ANOTHER BREEZE ran inwards checking HARD HABITS in the early stages while into the bend ALWAYS A STORY ran outwards again checking HARD HABITS who lost ground.
