| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C0 - C0 - 305 | GLAM NATION shifted in from the start and checked THUNDERING JET and TANYBRYN who both lost ground. GLAM NATION continued to shift in and caused further checks to TANYBRYN and HOMEBUSH SUE and GLAM NATION also lost ground in the incident with all three settling back in the field. CHEMICALLY FREE led to the first corner but then ran very wide on the bend and into the straight over extra ground and finished in 3rd place. THUNDERING JET also ran wide into the straight and lost ground. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305 | RUSTY SAM was slow to begin losing five lengths. STRAPPED FORCASH was also a little slow to begin but made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. DIGGIN ON YOU shifted in on the first corner and checked LISSADELL JASPER who went back onto THAT IS ALL who lost several lengths and finished in llast place. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C0 - C0 - 520 | KRONIC was slow to begin losing three lengths and he then ran very wide on the first bend losing further ground and finished in 2nd last place. HAIR SHE IS shifted in from the start forcing HOMEBUSH HAYLEY and FIVE TOO MANY in onto KING LEO who went back to the rear. KING LEO then checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH HAYLEY on the first corner losing further ground and he tailed the field from there to finish several lengths last. KING LEO'S galloping action did not appear to be correct and he was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. MR DISH LICKER checked over the heels of HAIR SHE IS on the home turn and lost ground. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 Ht1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 | SHARKIES DREAM was slow to begin losing three lengths and then checked off the heels of REGAL STEP on the first corner losing further ground but was observed to be running on well at the end to finish in 4th place. GONE AWOL checked off the heels of WOT PRICE CURLY entering the back straight and she went back and out checking MRS BOUQUET who lost four lengths and stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 5 | Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305 | STONES RIVER and CAWBOURNE BUNDY were slow to begin losing two lengths. CAWBOURNE BUNDY collided with BULLABAKANKA on the first corner with both dogs losing ground and STONES RIVER then checked off the back of BULLABAKANKA on the bend and both lost ground and they finished in the last three places. |
| Race 6 | Palamountains Nutrition C1 Ht2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2 | NOVAS FORTUNE drew box 1 and shifted out sharply on the first corner forcing TWIN TIGERS and BIG GIRL WELSHY wide into the bend with all three dogs losing ground in the incident. BOTANY ADAM drifted off the back of the field early in the race finishing several lengths last and he was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. The winner RED LABEL PENNY was observed to be uncomfortable walking back following the race and was also examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with wrist pain. |
| Race 7 | Media Works C1 - C1 - 305 | HOMEBUSH SIENNA was slow to begin losing two lengths and she then checked off the heels of SISTER VIRTUE on the first corner losing a further three lengths and finished in last place. ROCKIN IT was handy to the lead going into the bend but was tightened between runners soon after losing four lengths and all chance of a first four placing. MIGHTY FORTUNE checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH CINDY going into the bend and ran a little wide. He then shifted in and brushed the rail on the home turn and then shifted in again in the straight making firm contact with the rail and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a cut to the left hind leg. |
| Race 8 | Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305 | HOMEBUSH TIME led to the first corner but then bumped with CHELSEAS BABE for a stride and then drifted back through the field to finish several lengths last. She was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 9 | Keenan Concrete C1 Ht3 - C1q - 520 Heat 3 | SLICE OF MAGIC was slow to begin losing three lengths but he gradually made up ground and finished well for a close 2nd placing. UNTEACHABLE shifted in from the start and inconvenienced SHERMAN FLYER and LINDOP for several strides and they settled back in the field. |
| Race 10 | GEON Wellington C0D - C0d - 645 | THRILLING ANNIE shifted in soon after the start and checked CLUAIN MEALA who lost two lengths. CLUAIN MEALA continued to lose ground during the running and finished 21 lengths behind the 2nd last dog. CLUAIN MEALA was examined by the Vet, cleared of injury and due to her unsatisfactory performance, she was stood down until the completion of a satisfactory trial. SIXTY TWENTY shifted out soon after the start and checked JUST MAC who lost four lengths. |
| Race 11 | Gary Ross Decorator C1 - C1 - 305 | HOMEBUSH NELSON and HAYLEYS WISH were slow to begin and settled at the rear. HAYLEYS WISH then checked off the heels of JAYVILLE FLYER on the first corner and again on the bend and they both lost ground and finished in the rear group. BOTANY STORY shared the lead with BILLY HAKA on the bend but was checked when AGENT VICTOR moved through on the inside and BOTANY STORY lost several lengths and finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 12 | Broad Roofing C1 - C1 - 305 | WILD VAGABOND shifted out going to the first corner causing checks to HOMEBUSH JODIE, HOMEBUSH JONTY and BOND ECLIPSE who all lost ground. SHEZA RATBAG and BELFAST CHEEKY were vying for the lead on the bend when they came together, bumped and lost ground. BELFAST CHEEKY and HOMEBUSH JONTY then collided on the home turn losing ground and they finished at the rear with SHEZA RATBAG just ahead in 5th place. |
