| Race 1 | Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375 | One of the favourites TO POPO JOE was slow to begin. He then collided with THAT IS ALL on the bend causing that runner to lose several lengths and she finished last. BLAIR NINETY was also checked in the incident losing a little ground. BLAIR NINETY clipped the heels of SYD PHOENIX on the first corner causing that runner to run wide into the bend and lose ground. |
| Race 2 | Woodville Dash C1 - C1 - 375 | PRINCE PARADE and WHANGANUI bumped together soon after the start and again on the first corner with WHANGANUI losing ground and he stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. PRINCE PARADE recovered to finish very well for 3rd placing. |
| Race 3 | Cloverlea Dash C1 - C1 - 375 | HOMEBUSH SIENNA was slow to begin losing two lengths but she then secured a clear rails run to make up ground and finished in 3rd place. DOUBLE TAPP shifted in on the first corner and checked the favourite SHALF who lost ground. Soon after, SHALF bumped with MS TOURNAMENTAL who in turn bumped with NICKI HAKA who was forced wide into the bend and she lost ground and finished last. SHALF was checked again on the bend and he finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 4 | Peter Sinclair Photos C1 Final - C1f - 375 | BIMBOO shifted out on the bend checking KRUSSIAN who went back onto JACKIE SHIRAZ and FLOATING AWAY with all three dogs losing ground and they finished in the last three places. JACKIE SHIRAZ suffered skinned pads on both hind feet and was stood down for 10 days. |
| Race 5 | Sparky's Bar and Restaurant C3 Final - C3f - 375 | MY BAD JONNY and BOTANY BARB jostled for several strides going to the first corner and went back to the rear. BOTANY MATTHEW was also checked in the incident and they finished in the rear group. |
| Race 6 | Shannon Stakes C3 Final - C3f - 457 | BIG EFFORT shifted out from the start and checked GO BOOF who lost three lengths and he stayed back throughout the race. |
| Race 7 | Foxton Sprint C4 - C4 - 375 | ANOTHER LADY was checked back to last soon after the start but she recovered well to secure a clear rails run and won the race. MY GIRL COOKIE shifted in on the first corner and was galloped on by TRACKSIDE with both dogs losing several lengths and all chance. JUST DEFY THAT and DON'T KNOCK ME were also affected in the incident and they finished in the last four places. MY GIRL COOKIE was examined by the Vet as a precaution and stood down for 5 days with abrasions and bruising to the legs. |

| Race 9 | Satherley Challenge C2-5 Ht1 - C5 - 375 | LITTLE BLACKSPOT, VISIONARY MAN, SALLY SAY SO and MOODY MAN were all slow to begin and they stayed back to finish in the last four places. |
| Race 10 | Hokowhitu Dash C2 - C2 - 375 | THUNDA THIGHS was one of the slowest to begin and she then raced wide on the bend covering extra ground and finished in 2nd last place. NATASHA'S DUFFER was checked and lost ground on the first corner when LOOKS DECIEVING shifted out onto her line of running. LOOKS DECIEVING suffered from a paw abrasions and was stood down for 5 days. |
| Race 11 | Marton Sprint C3 - C3 - 375 | SASSAFRAS began awkwardly losing three lengths and she then raced wide on the bend covering extra ground and finished in last place. One of the better supported runners ANOTHER DRIZZLE drew box 1 and had a clear run but failed to race up to expectations and finished in 2nd last place. He was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 12 | Pahiatua Stakes C1/2 - C1/2 - 457 | DECEIVER jumped in onto the favourite PERRY WINKLE who was checked losing ground but she recovered well to win the race. DECEIVER then shifted out and bumped together with HOWLIN WIND. RADAR SHIRAZ shifted out going to the first corner and collided with KANGO KLINK who lost a little ground. RADAR SHIRAZ suffered from a paw abrasion and was stood down for 5 days. |
