| Race 1 | www.agrc.co.nz Sprint - C0 - 318 | In the run down to the first turn NEK MINUTE came across on to KARLA LEWINSKY causing COLERIDGE AINSLI and PINT STAR to be squeezed back to the rear ,NEK MINUTE was then pushed outwards as KARLA LEWINSKY tried to move out wider at that point ,soon after NEK MINUTE became unbalanced as the field raced in to the bend and went outwards on to PINT STAR where they came together for a couple of strides, there after NEK MINUTE went back to a clear last by some lengths finishing in that position at the line NEK MINUTE was sent for a vet check and was found to have a minor right hock strain with a 10 day stand down recommended |
| Race 2 | Trophies Plus Sprint - C1/2 - 318 | VIBURNUM was akwardly away from midfield for a stride ONE WILD THING was slow away and was noticed to be uncomfortable in his galloping action soon after where he went back to a clear last finishing some distance in the rear at the line ONE WILD THING was sent for a vet check and was found to be suffering from a left longhead triceps muscle tear with a 28 day stand down recommended |
| Race 3 | The Brownzy Sports Bar Sprint - C4/5 - 318 | Racing down to the first turn MISS ARKANSAS came across towards the rail tightning GLOW BELLE DOLL over on to CAPTAIN CARLOS resulting in CAPTAIN COUTTS being squeezed back and was forced to check off heels ,CAPTAIN COUTTS was able to keep his ground and moved out in to clear racing room to keep up a sustained run wider out on the track to go on and win the race On the point of the home turn ASTON RED came down on to GLOW BELLE DOLL with them bumping and becoming unbalanced for a stride or two |
| Race 4 | Thornton Auctions Sprint - C1/2 - 318 | JAG'S FLYER was slow away after being difficult to box and has been put back on the box first list DUNN ROBIN YOU was akwardly away from the inside box for a stride |
| Race 5 | Auckland Vending Series Final - C1f - 318 | MOON WARROWER (fav) vied for the lead as the field raced down to the first turn COOL AND DRY came past on his outer and angled down towards the rail causing MOON WARROWER to check back a length ,soon after PERCENTAGE MAN ran on to the back of MOON WARROWER who was checked and went out wide racing around the top bend covering a lot of extra ground with MOON WARROWER finishing in last placing at the line MOON WARROWER was sent for a vet check as a precaution where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 6 | Sel's TAB Stakes - C4/5 - 527 | TIMS TIGER was a late scratching when found to have suffered an injury to a leg in the kennels at home prior to being loaded to come to the track HAVE A YAP was a late scratching at kenneling when found to be in season , vet cert supplied In the run down to the first turn ASSEGAI ran on to the heels of BENNY ROX as this dog came across resulting in ASSEGAI having to check and ran in on WINSOME FLASH who was severly tightened for a couple of strides where he tried to run outwards in avoiding the heels of ASSEGAI and was almost brought down as THRILLING BOLT came around and down on to him at that point THRILLING BOLT and WINSOME FLASH tangled for a few strides losing a fair amount of ground and never got in to contention from there on in finshing some lengths in the rear |
| Race 7 | Carol's TAB Stakes - C1 - 527 | RANDO REASON was akwardly away from the inside box ,but recovered well to be one of the early leaders ,racing across the top bend RANDO REASON was weakining slightly and went back a couple of lengths and was tightened and checked as MISS JETSUN and HOT POOTIE made runs around the field ,RANDO REASON was put iff balance at this point and made contact with IMAGINATION as he tried to recover his balance and lost his position to the rear of the field finishing in last placing at the line |
| Race 8 | Reel-Fishin .com Series Final - C5f - 318 | Soon after the start KISSING KATE and PUNK DINO came together bumping for some distance as they raced towards the first turn with PUNK DINO pushing KISSIN KATE over with SNICKO being forced back in behind catching the heels of KISSIN KATE and stumbling ,KISSIN KATE was tightened out of racing room at this point going back to the rear and finished in last placing at the line SNICKO was sent for a vet check at the request of the kennel rep with bleeding on hisright eye with a small graze being found with no stand down imposed |
| Race 9 | Auckland Co-op Taxis Sprint - C4 - 318 | In the run down to the first turn there was tightningand jostling between runners with PROVEN SHELLY and AUSTIN WILD coming together in the early rush for positions , soon after PROVEN SHELLY went back half a length with JETSUN JULES getting on her heels ,then LOCHINVAR YASI came across from wide out on to NATHAN'S CHAMP and TAIESIN BLUE with all these dogs being tightened and checked again losing ground LOCHINVAR YASI was able to skip to a clear lead from here and ran out an easy winner in a very slick time |
| Race 10 | Varvatos @ Stud Stakes - C2/3 - 527 | Racing in to the first turn HARAJUKU GIRL was caught wide when coming together with EDWARD CULLEN ,HARAJUKU GIRL was soon observed to shorten stride and went further back in the rear coming home some lengths behind the rest of the field at the line HARAJUKU GIRL was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered a left hind grazed pad , left fore digit 5 p2-p3 sprain with a 21 day stand down recommended |
| Race 11 | Magness Benrow Sprint - C3 - 318 | SWIFT SWINGER (fav) was away well from an inside draw ,racing in to the first turn he had to check back off the heels of REALON RAPTURE with SWIFT SWINGER going out widest around the top bend covering a lot of extra ground ,he was able to make ground late to finish in midfield at the line |
| Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318 | GREYSYND CHROME (fav) and LOCHLINNE were both akwardly away for a stride from the boxes Racing in to the first turn BEAR CUB crossed over to the rail causing GREYSYND CHRPOME to check back slightly and go off stride losing a length or so at that point ,soon after GREYSYND CHROME lost more ground and was observed to be uncomfortable in his galloping action there after finishing towards the rear at the line GREYSYND CHROME was sent for a vet check where he was found to be suffering from pain in right assessary carpus ligiments,left gracilis and right calf muscle with a 10 day stand down recommended Racing down in to the first turn wider out LOCKLINNE ran in to AGENT VICTOR causing him to become unbalanced and lose several lengths going back to the rear ,AGENT VICTOR was not able to recover from this to get back in to contention from there on in finishing in last placing at the line |
