Judicial report: TRICKY PAULA ( race 2 ) and PINTA GUINNESS ( race 12 ) were both scratched without penalty due to the Trainers ill health and because of the fact that he was not able to arrange anyone to bring the dogs.to the meeting. Because this was not the first occasion that this had occurred, the Trainer K Jackson was advised that in future when nominating, he must have prior arrangements in place for someone to bring the dogs to the races if that proves necessary due to his ongoing health issues.

Race 1	Cafe "Cibo" Upper Hutt C1 - C1 - 305	SAND QUEEN and HOMEBUSH SIENNA came together and bumped when the start was made and both dogs lost ground. PARRA SPARRA shifted in on the first corner and placed SPRING TYDE in tight quarters adjacent to the rail and she lost three lengths. BIGTIME ALLGO shifted in on the first corner and checked CAWBOURNE COL and THRILLING LEWIS and they lost three lengths. Soon after, BIGTIME ALLGO checked off the heels of PARRA SPARRA losing a little ground but recovered to go on and win the race. CAWBOURNE COL was lame following the race, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a pectoral muscle injury.
Race 2	B & P Engineering C2 - C2 - 305	JOLOKIA escaped briefly from the handler just prior to start time, was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. HOMEBUSH BERNIE was slow to begin losing three lengths. BRUTUS FINALE shifted in on the first corner and caused checks to SHARI JEWEL and JOLOKIA who both lost ground.
Race 3	Restricted Age Feature - R/A - 520	RONAN MACHALL shifted in from the start causing checks to HOMEBUSH DIP, PERRY WINKLE, MICK MANIA, MAXIMUM JEWEL and CHELSEA'S BEAUTY who all lost ground. MAXIMUM JEWEL, MICK MANIA and PERRY WINKLE continued to jostle together and they lost further ground going to the first corner with MAXIMUM JEWEL being the most affected losing several lengths. PERRY WINKLE was checked losing further ground entering the back straight and she finished at the rear along with MAXIMUM JEWEL.
Race 4	Thornton Auctions C5 - C5 - 305	DONNA BAXTER and IMA SPICE collided soon after the start and DONNA BAXTER then shifted in on the first corner and checked CAWBOURNE LORNA who went back and out onto CIAO FOR NOW with both losing ground. CAWBOURNE LORNA and CIAO FOR NOW then bumped together on three occasions on the bend when racing at the rear and they finished in the last two places.
Race 5	Anglo Upholsterers Ltd C4 - C4 - 305	CAWBOURNE FLICK shifted in on the first corner making firm contact with the rail and losing four lengths. She was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury. FLYING FLYNN shifted in going to the first corner causing jostling to ANOTHER LADY and BILLY WHIZ . ANOTHER LADY recovered to win the race but BILLY WHIZZ lost three lengths and all chance of a first four placing. FLYING FLYNN and DONT KNOCK ME collided on the bend losing ground with DONT KNOCK ME being the most affected and he went back to last and finished in that position. FLYING FLYNN was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a webbing injury which required suturing. DONT KNOCK ME was also examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 6	"Opawa Racing Ltd " C3 - C3 - 520	BIGTIME KINVARA shifted in from the start and THRILLING QUEST shifted out slightly and they bumped together with THRILLING QUEST losing a little ground. TAILS OFF shifted in on the first corner and collided with BOTANY MATTHEW with both dogs losing ground.
Race 7	Peter Sinclair Photos C4 - C4 - 305	LIL LARRIKIN led until the straight entrance where she ran a little wide and this possibly affected her chance of winning instead of running 2nd. SURELY YOU JEST galloped on the back of HOMEBUSH JEM on the home turn when they were racing at the rear and both lost ground.
Race 8	Gold Band Finance C5 - C5 - 305	CAWBOURNE JOSE shifted in on the first corner and caused checks to BOUND BY PRIDE, TWENTY SIXTY and SEMENYA who all lost ground, went back to the rear and they stayed back to finish in the last three places. BIG GIFT won the race with ease but appeared to go off stride when going to the lure and she was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a wrist injury which has been an ongoing problem for BIG GIFT.
Race 9	E.J. Wing Memorial Challenge Cup C5 - C5 - 520	DYNA FRIER and THRILLING RANSOM bumped together at the start and lost a little ground. DYNA FRIER and MR METICULOUS collided on the first corner and MR METICULOUS shifted out forcing BOTANY ANN and BADJA BALE to run wide into the first bend and all three dogs lost ground. DYNA FRIER was also affected in the incident and he then checked over the heels of MR METICULOUS entering the back straight losing three lengths and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 10	Distance Cup C1D - C1d - 645	SLICE OF MAGIC was slow to begin losing two lengths and he then checked over the heels of BUDDY BROKE going into the first corner losing further ground and stayed back throughout to finish in last place.
Race 11	Wellington Cup Heats Fri 20th C3 - C3 - 305	REQUEST FUNDING who was racing at the rear, checked off the heels of MY BAD JONNY going to the first corner losing two lengths. SOOTYS ESTATE was handy going to the first corner but checked away from the slight outwards movement of HOMEBUSH ZITA losing ground. She then ran wide on the bend and into the straight over extra ground and finished in last place.
