Track: Good The track was presented in a very good racing order with all other equipment working well througout the meeting
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Mr A Cleaver was spoken to by the Stewards when being the only person to wear a jacket out on the track to catch , due to a medical condition his explanation on this occassion was accepted
The starter Mr D Henwood was spoken to by the Stewards after race 9 in regards to PUNK DINO whose tail was outside the box with the handler leaving the lid up several inches, as the lure tripped the boxes the lid came down on the dogs tail with PUNK DINO being last away and only just going down narrowly to finish a close 2nd at the line
Mr Henwood was reminded that it is his responsibility to make sure all dogs are boxed away correctly before giving the green light in the future
The handler of PUNK DINO Mr D Schofield snr will be spoken to regarding this incident
MOODY TUNES ( S Clark) was charged under Rule 80.1b with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment during the running of race 10
Kennel rep Ms K Wilson admitted to a breach of Rule 80.1b on behalf of Trainer Mr S Clark with MOODY TUNES being stood down for 28 days and to compltes a satisfactory trial/s in the presence of the Stewards

Race 1	Clubhouse Sports Bar Stakes - C0 - 457	As the field left the boxes WIND UP WHITEY ran out on to PINT STAR who ran out wide until the first turn where she ran in sharply towards the rail bumping WIND UP WHITEY who went over bumping in to HEAD LASS who became unbalanced for a stride or two at that point also losing ground WIND UP WHITEY went back to the rear and then on the top bend WIND UP WHITEY caught a heel of HEAD LASS and was checked again losing a length or two but was not in contention at that point PINT STAR made up good ground from the first turn to finish in 2nd placing at the line
Race 2	Protector Safety Sprint - C3 - 375	Racing down to the first bend GOLD FOR THYS came across on to SAFARI PARTY tightning her in towards the rail where SAFARI PARTY ran out of room and was forced back half a length REGAL TENT was directly in behind and ran up on her back and dragging SAFARI PARTY down , REGAL TENT went up on the rail and recovered to finish in behind the other runners SAFARI PARTY recovered her footing to finish on to the lure and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found REGAL TENT was also sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 3	YGOT Bonus Scheme Stakes - C1 - 457	From the boxes ON TREY, COOL AND DRY and LOCHINVAR ELLE bumped and jostled for a couple of strides As the field raced in to the first turn COOL AND DRY was in near the rail when ELEPHUNK from wider out made a run in towards the rail running in to COOL AND DRY who was severly hampered at that point almost making contact with the rail Both these runners went back to the rear with ELEPHUNK losing ground steadily there after finshing some lengths in the rear ELEPHUNK was sent for a vet check where she was found to have suffered a rupture of her left triceps muscle with a 28 day stand down recommended
Race 4	Lichfield Kennels Sprint - C1 - 375	DEB BALE and THRILLING AGENT bumped as they came out of the boxes , DEB BALE went back to the rear and never got in to contention from there on in
Race 5	Varvatos @ Stud Stakes - C3 - 457	Racing in to the first turn MCKONE raced across towards the rail severly tightning THRILLING CAIRO and HUSTLER who was forced in to the rail ,HUSTLER recovered from this incident well to run on for 3rd placing at the line THRILLING CAIRO went up on the heels of MCKONE at this point and went back to the rear losing several lengths and was not able to get in to contention from there on in HUSTLER was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found THRILLING CAIRO was vetted and was found to have suffered a split webbing on his right fore with a 10 day stand down recommended
Race 6	Graduation Series Heat 1 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1	Soon after the start TRINITY BOY came out on to ODE TO LIBERTY as TAKE THE MICK came across on to THRILLING SOUND who was squeezed back and caught the heels of ODE TO LIBERTY with THRILLING SOUND going down on his nose on to his chest and stumbling losing approx 10 lengths at this point THRILLING SOUND recovered his balance to run on strongly to catch the tail end runners near the finish and could be considered an unlucky runner THRILLING SOUND was declared a faller in this race and sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 7	Graduation Series Heat 2 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 2	From the jump THRILLING BRAT(fav) was only fairly away from the boxes, he ran outwards on to ASHER and was then forced to check back a stride or so as ASHER raced across towards the rail with THRILLING BRAT losing ground to the rear THRILLING BRAT raced widest in to the first turn and was widest in to the home straight and running on late to beat two other runners to the line THRILLING BRAT had raced over 650 & 747 metres at his previous two starts and may have had trouble reverting back to 457 metres on this occasion THRILLING BRAT was sent for a vet check as a precaution where no abnormalities were found
Race 8	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Stakes - C5 - 457	EXEMPILFIED was first away from the start and was leading as the field raced to the first turn ,BENNY ROX came across on to her tightning her for a couple of strides, she checked back off him and went back towards the rear of the field,as she was going back she was further tightened as runners came around her as the field raced around the top bend EXEMPLIFIED raced in the rear there after finishing in last placing at the line EXEMPLIFIED was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 9	Te Awamutu Self Storage Sprint - C5 - 375	PUN DINO had his tail outside the boxes when the handler had boxed the dog ,with the lid left up several inches, the lid dropped down on the dogs tail as the lure reached the boxes trip with the dog being last away PUNK DINO made up good ground throughout the running to almost catch the winner THRILLING SIGHT on the line PRESSURE POINT was slow away and raced in the rear througout finishing several lengths last at the line PRESSURE POINT was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered a torn right gracilis muscle with a 28 day stand down recommendedThe starter was spoken to in regards to the boxing away of PUNK DINO (refer judical) ONE TOUGHT COOKIE clipped heels as the field raced in to the turn and fell heavily, she recovered her footing to finish on to the lure a distance behind the field and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 10	All Sew Embroidery Sprint - C2 - 375	Racing on to the top bend DOWNEY was tightened catching hells and fell ,he recovered his footing to finish on to the lure and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found Racing down the home straight MOODY TUNESand MOON WARROWER were vying for the lead when MOODY TUNES was observed to turn her head towards MOON WARROWER for a couple of strides and just before the post MOODY TUNES moved outwards causing MOON WARROWER to be checked slightly MOODY TUNES was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found Kennel rep for Trainer was shown a film of the incident by the Stewards and readily admitted to a charge of non pursuit uder rule 80.1b MOODY TUNES was stood down for 28 days (see Judicial)
Race 11	Fond Foods Sprint - C4 - 375	All Clear
Race 12	Kirstie McGrail @ Harcourts Stakes - C4 - 457	DANS CONQUEST was slowest away from the start ,racing in to the first bend DANS CONQUEST attempted to make ground where he ran on to the heels of SURFING AL and had to check back ,as he did so he went off stride and then was observed to break down pulling up short of the winning post and was taken off the track to the vet DAN'S CONQUEST was found to have suffered a dislocation / fracture of the right hind tarso joint , the leg was bandaged and pain releif given with a 28 day stand down recommended
