On the home turn COOL JORDIE and KNOW MISTAKE came together when towards the rear and lost momentum. Following the race HOMEBUSH SARGE was found to have spike wounds to his right front wrist after being trampled at the lure with a seven day stand down recommended. |
| Race 2 | greyhoundtips.co.nz Dash - C2 - 295 | MEANDER ran inwards into the bend tightening firstly CAWBOURNE SHOT and then LES HART and HOMEBUSH BUFFY with these dogs dropping to the rear. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C4/5 - 295 | ANOTHER GON was checked into the bend as kennelmate HOMEBUSH HELEN angled outwards with ANOTHER GON dropping to the rear. |
| Race 4 | Borat At Stud Stakes - C3 - 520 | OPAWA JOHNNY and ITS NOT EASY were the last to jump. NINAS GIRL ran inwards into the first bend with HOMEBUSH FRASER, SALVADOR BALE and CROSSFIRE MAX all being checked with CROSSFIRE MAX dropping to a clear last. Soon after NINAS GIRL was jostled in between runners and lost momentum. |
| Race 5 | David Emerson Consultancy Sprint - C2/3 - 295 | AUSSIE HAKA was last to jump. ANOTHER LEGIN ran outwards soon after the jump and inconvenienced the favourite JUMPIN JULIA and his other kennelmate CAWBOURNE COOKIE with these runners settling in the rear half of the field. |
| Race 6 | Jet Pets Dash - C4/5 - 295 | ALBIES LAD and REAL CLEVER were a shade slow from the inside. FREDDIE BAXTER and KINGA MIKE brushed together for a stride wide out soon after the jump. Into the bend REAL CLEVER and GENISTA TORNADO came together while these two dogs again made contact on the home turn when well back. |
| Race 7 | Carol's T.A.B. Sprint - C4 - 295 | BRUNO was very slow remaining last throughout with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. The well supported BOTANY ZENA received a slight check and lost momentum on the home turn as UNO HARRIET improved along her inside and made contact. |
| Race 8 | Ritchies Coachlines Stakes - C3/4 - 520 | MAGIC LASS ran inwards in the run to the first bend checking KNOW TRUTH while simultaneously CROSS TO DAPTO wanted to get to the outside and checked BASILIO BALE with the checked runners settling at the rear. |
| Race 9 | Robbie's Bar & Bistro Dash - C4 - 295 | This race was delayed by two minutes due to the late running of a harness event from Roxburgh. NATALIA BALE ran outwards while leading in the early stages and tightened AINT THAT COOL and GENISTA OUTLAW for a stride and made contact with JACKSON CAT who also settled towards the rear. Into the bend ADINI crossed from wide out and tightened WHERES JOHN CEE and PURE AND SPECIAL who lost ground. WHERES JOHN CEE did well to get up for third. |
| Race 10 | Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C4/5 - 295 | WEONA DARLING and NOBLE ENFORCER were the last to jump. In the early stages OBSESSED was tightened between runners and dropped to the rear. Into the bend PERSIAN OIL was tightened by ANOTHER BREEZE and lost ground. ANOTHER BREEZE in turn was squeezed up along the inside on the bend and lost momentum with and also came together with PERSIAN OIL soon after. |
| Race 11 | Kolorful Kanvas Maiden Distance - C0d - 645 | The favourite ULTIMATE DREAM was checked into the first bend and dropped to the rear. Soon after WALK DA TORQUE checked outwards off KNOW FUTURE and cannoned into KNOW PERIL and KNOW REVENGE with these runners losing ground. WALK DA TORQUE dropped out over the concluding stages finishing a clear last with a post race veterinary check revealing that the dog had tied up badly but no stand down was deemed necessary. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Dash - C2/3 - 295 | DOGGER BANK was last to jump. ALICANTE and CAWBOURNE HARVEY came together on two occasions on the turn with both dogs dropping to the rear. A post race veterinary check of ALICANTE revealed no injury. |
