Track: Good In preparation for the three meetings to be held at Addington Raceway this week the discs were used on Sunday the 1st of January and the track extensively watered on Monday the 2nd.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C2 - 295	HOMEBUSH EDITH was slow to jump. In the run to the turn ROSCA ran outwards and hampered HOMEBUSH EDITH who in turn checked LIFE WITH DEXTER and ELOUERA BABE
Race 2	Murray @ Ray White Ph.3715005 Stakes - C0 - 520	Both PIED WARRIOR and AVEC LAMOUR was slow. DOOSRA when crossing to the lead after the start bumped KYANN. RAMBUNCTIOUS when shifting down the track in the initial stages pressured FUNNY MONEY down onto KOMBUCHA with the trailing KYANN receiving a check to it's progress. Prior to entering the final bend KOMBUCHA raced across the heels of CAPTAIN PHIL and turned this dog inwards slightly. When pulling up at the lure several dogs collided with DOOSRA who briefly dropped to the track. When being led back to scale DOOSRA lay on the track for some time appearing to be in some discomfort. A post race Veterinary examination revealed this dog may have initially suffered from severe cramping but a subsequent inspection could detect no abnormalities. Jason Dunn as the trainer of CAPTAIN PHIL was questioned regarding the seemingly disappointing performance of CAPTAIN PHIL. Mr Dunn stated that he had been disappointed with the performance fro his dog however it had returned to the kennels showing no signs of distress or illness. Mr Dunn undertook to advise the Stewards of anything which may come to light in the next days that could help to explain the run. Mr Dunn was further advised that the upcoming performances of this dog would be monitored by Stewards.
Race 3	Flair Dash - C0 - 295	GRIDIRON was very slow to jump. On the final bend BIGTIME YAHOO ran outwards and in doing so caused SOCRATES and PURE THEATRE to race wider on the track.
Race 4	Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C1 - 520	On the first bend CRIXUS when improving along the rails shifted outwards to avoid the heels of the leader SPACE RACE and in doing so crowded BLACK EMILY, UNSHAKEN and GONE AWOL who all lost momentum. As a result of this interference GONE AWOL faltered in behind. Stewards requested a post race Veterinary check which revealed no abnormalities. Shortly after this incident WOT PRICE CURLY improved to the inside of CRIXUS and ran outwards causing interference to this dog along with BLACK EMILY, UNSHAKEN, FELIXSTOWE and GONE AWOL. On the final bend CRIXUS was buffeted when becoming awkwardly placed between FELIXSTOWE and UNSHAKEN.
Race 5	racingdogs.co.nz Sprint - C1 - 295	In the early stages FIREMANS ESCORT when shifting down the track contacted HOMEBUSH JONTY and dictated this dog onto HOMEBUSH BORIS. Immediately after this WANDY GENO who was also looking for the rail caused considerable tightening to KNOW LOVE AFFAIR, FIREMANS ESCORT, HOMEBUSH JONTY, HOMEBUSH BORIS and MAINLAND SONIC. On the first bend WANDY BOLTER became awkwardly placed between TWISTER AL and FIREMANS ESCORT.
Race 6	Jet Pet Stakes - C2 - 520	Racing into the first bend DISTINCT IMAGE received a heavy check when racing in tight quarters between HOUSTON and CYNTHIA BAXTER and fell heavily to the track. ULTIMATE SPICE, RED LABEL PENNY, HOMEBUSH WILD, WALK DA TORQUE and KNOW FUTURE who were all trailing this dog received checks of differing degrees. A post race Veterinary examination of DISTINCT IMAGE was requested which revealed a general soreness. Due to this and the nature of the accident a seven day stand down was imposed by the on course Vet.
Race 7	Pick 6 Leg 1 Stakes - C3 - 520	OPAWA JOHNNY was slow to begin. This dog was then hampered on the first bend when racing to the inside of IT'S NOT EASY. Leaving the first bend TORQUED UP received a slight check from WATERVIEW LASS who was crossing down the track ahead of it. On the final bend NINA'S GIRL ran wide.
Race 8	Ashleigh Mills Sprint - C4 - 295	KNOW ESCAPE was slow to begin. In the initial stages ANY BAD HABITS and HOMEBUSH LIGNITE bumped on several occasions. Racing towards the first bend OKUKU BOMBER ran outwards crowding both ANY BAD HABITS and RENNER'S GIFT.
Race 9	Shirley Veterinary Centre Stakes - C4 - 520	BASILIO BALE raced in tight quarters to the the first bend between STILL HELINE and KNOW TRUTH. After being crossed by Entering the back straight STILL HELINA ran outwards taking KNOW REVENGE wide on the track.
Race 10	Clarkson Sign Studio Dash - C5 - 295	ANOTHER BREEZE and NIPPA MARY bumped on several occasions during the early part of the race. ANOTHER BREEZE was then tightened for racing room SOSAN and NIPPA MARY.
Race 11	I Pave Concrete Stakes - C4/5 - 520	MIXED GRILL was squeezed in the early stages when positioned between SHUNT APPEAL and OPAWA COLLAR costing it momentum. MIXED GRILL was obliged to twice check off the heels of OPAWA COLLAR on the final bend who had been crossed by BADJA BALE.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C3 - 295	SING CILLA BLACK raced in confined quarters when racing between OKUKU BOB and ENABLE racing towards the first bend.
