Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C0 - C0 - 305	Soon after the start HOMEBUSH SUE and GERARD HAKA came together and jostled for a distance as HOMEBUSH SUE tried to stay out wide and GERARD HAKA wanted to get over to the lure, soon after GERARD HAKA was able to cross over in behind runners to get on to the rail
Race 2	Guthrie Bowron C0 - C0 - 520	Soon after the start HARRY HALL came across on to WIND UP WHITEY causing FIVE TOO MANY to be squeezed out of the gap at this point ,WIND UP WHITEY then ran outwards sharply colliding in to CORTECCIA ,racing around the first bend WIND UP WHITEY and FIVE TOO MANY went wide as CORTECCIA raced through on their inside pushing them out wide Racing towards the home turn OCTANE ROYALE got on the heels of CORTECCIA and was held up several more times in the run home when looking for racing room, wider out on the home turn HARRY HALL and THREE TOO MANY came together and lost momentum for a stride or so
Race 3	Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305	CIRCLE OF LIGHT (fav0 was last away from the jump by a length or two , she made up good ground ,then ran on to the heels of BIMBOO on the top bend ,she changed ground outwards as they raced in to and down the home straight to finish in 3rd placing at the line From the boxes CLUAIN MEALA raced across towards the railon to HUSKY HAKA who went in on to BIMBOO, MR DISH LICKER and STONES RIVER,these dogs were all checked for several strides MR DISH LICKER was checked as they raced in to the top bend where he went back to the rear and was not able to get in to contention from there on in BIMBOO and HUSKY HAKA came out best from this incident to fill the first two placings at the line
Race 4	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 - C1 - 520	From the start RONAN MACHALL ran across on to BREAKING MELODY tightning her for a couple of strides where she was checked back going down slightly in behind at that point , racing in to the first turn there was tightning and jostling between several runners as WOT PRICE AGRO came across on to runners In the run from the boxes BIT OR SOME was observed to be carring his head on an angle for a few strides ,soon after there was tightning to the inside runners with BIT OR SOME being tightened and running out of room ,he went back to the rear ,then had room to improve inside WOT PRICE AGRO racing towards the back straight ,he stayed in the rear beating one runner to the line The stewards reviewed the side on film ,then the head on film of the run down to the post first time which was unclear due to the lure obscuring the dog in the run down to the first turn BIT OR SOME was vetted where no abnormalities were found, he was stood down under rule 81 to complete satisfactory trial/s BREAKING MELODY was vetted at the trainers request where no abnormalities were found
Race 5	Palamountains Nutrition C1 Final - C1f - 305	ROSCA (fav) stumbled badly on leaving the boxes going down on his nose losing several lengths, he attemped to make ground around the field wide out but could not get in to contentiion beating a couple of runners to the line Soon after the start HOMEBUSH ROSEBUD came in as SINGLE SCULLER moved out on to HOMEBUSH EDITH pushing this dog out on to CAWBOURNE TINA for a stride or so Racing in to the first bend LEO'S GIRL had to check back off heels losing ground ROSCA was sent for a vet check as a precaution where no abnormalities were found
Race 6	Mickey's Super Liquor C2 - C2 - 305	In the run down to the first turn there was tightning and jostling between several runners as MY BAD JONNY and MEGA RUSH came together ,with COOL EXPLORER coming over on to MY BAD JONNY ,then CAWBOURNE HARVEY came across oon to HOMEBUSH CINDY pushing this dog over on to COOL EXPLORER with all of these runners being squeezed and tighened for some distance as the field raced down to the first turn MEGA RUSH, BELLS SIENNA and MY BAD JONNY all were forced out wide in to and around the top bend covering a fair bit of extra ground in the running
Race 7	GEON Wellington C1 - C1 - 520	Soon after the start TWIN TIGERS had to check back off the heels of THRILLING LEWIS losing a length or so ,soon after racing in to the first bend CATCH A PENNIE and TWIN TIGERS came together as they went in to the first turn ,both these runners were in the rear at this pont On the turn in to the homer straight TWIN TIGERS was attempting to make ground from midfield was forced to check off the heels of LOTTO RASPBERRY and go out wider losing more ground at that point eventually finishing 6th placing at the line
Race 8	Wanganui Security C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	From the jump UPAHUT CINDY came out on to COOKED THE BOOK who was pushed out on to THRILLING ANNIE ,HOMEBUSH DIP and WHAT A MATE as these runners were trying to cross towards the rail Racing in to the first turn THRILLING ANNIE and UPAHUT CINDY were tightened as THRILLING ANNIE came in to avoid the heels of HOMEBUSH DIP ,these two runners lost more ground and were not able to get in to contention from there on in
Race 9	Morrie Gibbons Signs C1 - C1 - 305	From the jump GINA MAC ran in and collided with HOMEBUSH BRITNEY ,soon after KRUSSIAN came over as HOMEBUSH BRITNEY came out resulting in PARRA SPARRA and GINA MAC being tightened and squeezed out of racing room losing a couple of lengths at that point As the field raced to wards the home turn SAFFRON FLAHERTY got on heels of PARRA SPARRA then ran inwards with PARRA SPARRA running out under the neck of KRUSSIAN taking these runners wide in to the home turn .
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	As the field raced in to the first turn SUMMER SPICE and TARRA MAGIC came together with TARRA MAGIC being hit midsection and turned sideways ,BUDDY BROKE and THRILLING TUNE had to check off her heels where they ran wide ,at this point TARRA MAGIC ran in to the line of JAG YOU ARE who ran up on to her back then ran outwards sharply to aviod her heels and took THRILLING TUNE and BUDDY BROKE wider in to the bend All these runners lost a lot of ground with them not being able to get in to contention from there on in with hte first three dogs home getting a big break in the middle stages TARRA MAGIC was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 11	Broad Roofing C5 - C5 - 305	Racing down to the first turn BOTANY ANGELA ran on to the heels of CHARLI CLANG and went back several lengths at that point
Race 12	Media Works C5 - C5 - 305	Soon after the start PLANKING ran in on to BILLY WHIZ , then PLANKING ran outwards as RON'S SECRET came in with these runners coming together tightning and jostling and going over on to MISSING MELODY and MAGICATE with IMA SPICE (fav) after being slow away just in behind them looking to improve up on the inside All these runners were hampered for some distance in this incident racing in to the first turn MAGICATE was checked as PLANKING ran in to his hindquarters ,then was forced to run out very wide at this point as PLANKING ran on to the back of RON'S SECRET in avoiding the heels of this runner IMA SPICE made up good ground through out the running gaining a clear run along the inside to finish in 2nd placing at the line
Race 13	Presidents Dash C2 - C2 - 305	At the jump SASSAFRAS (fav) stumbled and ran in to CAWBOURNE DRAG with SASSAFRAS becoming unbalanced for a couple of strides and was not able to get in to contention from there on in BACK AT YA exploded from the boxes to a clear early lead ,then ran wide as he usually does giving away a good advantage to finish in 4th placing at the line
Race 14	Hatrick Sprint C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	SAFE AND SEQURE was slowest away ,soon made good ground up along the rail ,finishing on strongly for a close 2nd placing at the line In the run down the home straight SAFE AND SECURE and TALEEDY TROOPER both came towards each other ,a few strides off the post SAFE AND SECURE was observed to possably turn his head towards TALEEDY TROOPER for a stride or so ,at the same time TALEEDY TROOPER was coming in on SAFE AND SECURE with TALEEDY TROOPER running in to the shoulder of SAFE AND SECURE right on the winning post SAFE AND SECURE was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found The Stewards reviewed the side on view of the run up the home straight where it showed both runners coming close together near the line, on reviewing the head on coverage SAFE AND SECURE was completly obscured by the lure until TALEEDY TROOPER ran in to the shoulder of SAFE AND SECURE right on the line The Stewards spoke to the trainer of SAFE AND SECURE Mr B Johnson that this dogs racing manners will be watched closely in the future MELODY;S MUSE was squeezed back soon after the start with CHELSEA;S BEAUTY as GO CRASH came across from wider out further on CHELSEA'S BEAUTY was checked again as CONFISCATED raced around her and tried to cut inwards CHELSEA'S BEAUTY was not able to recover to get in to contention from there on finishing towards the rear at the line
Race 15	Wanganui GRC Board Sprint C3 - C3 - 305	racing in to the first turn GLENADDIS was racing in a handy position when BELFAST NOODIE raced around her and tried to cut down towards the rail with GLENADDIS catching the heel of BELFAST NODDIE and stumbled almost falling MY GIRL MARINA having to check to avoid this dog,,GLENADDIS went back to the rear by several lengths finishing in that position at the line GLENADDIS was sent for a vet check where she was found to have suffered a triangle muscle injury with a 14 day stand down recommended
Race 16	Gary Ross Decorator Dash C3 - C3 - 305	Soon after the start EMMA MARIE came out on to MISS TYRA and HOMEBUSH ZITA tightning them for a few strides ,SOOTY'S ESTATE from box one was able to keep out of trouble at this point and get to the lead, MISS TYRA after being tightened was getting bufferted in behind the leading bunch, when she moved out she became unbalanced for several strides On the point of the top bend DONKY DEEP ran on to the heels of EMMA MARIE and checked back on to HOMEBUSH ALEX as he was attemting to improve with HOMEBUSH ALEX going out suddenly in to the line of DONKEY DEEP forcing this dog to run outwards almost to the outside fence where she raced very wide in to the home straight
