| Race 1 | Te Awamutu Self Storage Maiden Series Heat 1 - C0q - 457 Heat 1 | racing down to the first turn OCTANR ROYALE was racing in a handy position when she was tightened losing a couple of lengths ,as she went back HAIR SHE IS went past her and cut down to wards the rail severly checking OCTANE ROYALE where she went down on her hindquarters for a stride or so OCTANE ROYALE recovered her footing to finish on to the lure some distance behind the field and was sent for a precautionary vet check where no abnormalities were found |

| Race 4 | Te Awamutu Self Storage Maiden Series Heat 3 - C0q - 457 Heat 3 | Racing down to the first turn KYANN came across on to ASTUTE WHIZ (fav) and was severly tighttened and checked going down on his nose at that point ,TRINITY BOY was in behind ASTUTE WHIZ and ran on to his heels and stumbled for a stride or so ASTUTE WHIZ and TRINITY BOY went back several lengths in this incident and were not able to get back in to contention from there on in |
| Race 5 | Garrard Horse & Hound Sprint - C2 - 375 | This race was several minutes late to start due to a false start with the first harness race SWIFT SWINGER (fav) was well away from midfield soon after drifted slightly back to midfield and was unable to improve her position there after finishing in 5th placing at the line SWIFT SWINGER was sent for a vet check |
| Race 6 | Waikato Classic Heat 1 - R/Aq - 457 Heat 1 | A couple of strides out of the boxes PEKING TOM checked off the heels of HUSTLER as PEKING TOM tried to duck across towards the rail ,PEKING TOM lost his momentum for a few strides losing ground back towards the rear and was never able to get in to contention from there on in finishing towrds the rear at the line |
| Race 7 | Waikato Classic Heat 2 - R/Aq - 457 Heat 2 | Racing down to the first turn INDEED UNIQUE and SHELLY SHELBY raced in to the body of the field and were soon tightened getting on heels with COOKED THE BOOK running outwards sharply to avoid heels taking SHELLY SHELBY and WATERVIEW LASS very wide as they raced on to the top bend.these three dogs lost all chance there after finishing in the rear A couple of strides past the post the 3rd placed runner GRIZZ was tightened for room and fell ,he regained his footing to run on to the lure and was sent for a vet check |

| Race 9 | Denis Cole Memorial Waikato Sprint Heat 2 - C5q - 375 Heat 2 | MISSY OCTANE was well away from the start ,she was soon tightened slightly as runners came over towards the rail ,with her going back several lengths On the point of the top bend MISSY OCTANE had come out wider and had to change ground outwards getting on the heels of VISIONARY MAN where MISSY OCTANE became unbalanced making the turn in to the straight akwardly and was observed to be uncomfortable in her galloping action down the home straight where she finished in last placing at the line MISSY OCTANE was sent for a vet check where she was found to have suffered a skin wound requiring suturing with a 10 day stand down recommended |
