Judicial report: ANOTHER LADY was called for a swab in race 11 ,after several attemps at trying to collect a sample the dog was released

| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C0 - C0 - 305 | CIRCLE OF LIFE (fav) missed thejump by several lengths tried toimprove around the field was checked on several occassions finished on well for 3rd placing at the line HUSKY HAKA spread himself on leaving the boxes losing a length or so ,WOT PRICE CURLY and HOMEBUSH GAZEL collided soon after the start Racing in to the first turn HUSKY HAKA was forced to check back off the heels of SAMMY RUBY ,soon after HUSKY HAKA and HOMEBUSH GAZEL came together they jostled for a couple of strides losing ground, WOT PRICE CURLY was held up for a few strides when in tight quarters MANIA FLYER was a late scratching at parade time when found to have a torn toe nail with a 7 day stand down recommended |
| Race 2 | Guthrie Bowron C0 - C0 - 305 | Soon after the jump JANDDS MATE came hard across on to THRILLING CHAOS and RUSTY SAM with RUSTY SAM being tightened on to HOMEBUSH SUE a few strides further on HOMEBUSH SUE went in towards the rail causing CLUIAN MEALA to be severly checked and pushed in towards the rail CLUAIN MEALA went back through the field to the rear losing all chance from there on in CLUIAN MEALA was racing in a handy position near the lead at this point CLUAIN MEALA was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 3 | Harrison Hire Master C1 Ht1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1 | BIILY HAKA was akwardly away fro a stride ,soon after ASHER was put off stride and lost his balance for a few stride after BREAKING MELODY had run across on to him ,ASHER went back a few lengths as he tried to recover his balance BABY FALOU had raced across from wide out and came in on to BILLY HAKA as they raced in to the first turn ,soon after BABY FALOU got on the heels of BREAKING MELODY soon after BABY FALOU ,TIZA FEVER and HOMEBUSH GWEN came together with BABY FALOU being turned sideways as HOMEBUSH GWEN tried to gain a run between TIZA FEVER and BABY FALOU who was on the outer of TIZA FEVER at this point BABY FALOU went back to the rear finishing in last placing at the line BABAY FALOU was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 Ht 2 - C1q - 305 Heat 2 | Soon after leaving the boxes BARRYS WAY ran in as WHANGANUI came out with both of these dogs colliding ,BOND ECLIPSE was in behind these runners but was able to duck outward and did not get squeezed Racing in to the first turn BARRYS WAY got on the heels of BRUTUS FINALE and lost ground outwards taking BRUTUS FINALE wider on the track as they raced across the top bend |
| Race 5 | Palamountains Nutrition C3 - C3 - 305 | ANOTHER DRIZZLE got on the heels of INIGO JONES as the field raced in to the first turn , ANOTHER DRIZZLE went back a length at that point MIRAGE ROYALE raced in the rear throughout the journey and was vetted with pain over pectoras muscle detected with a 10 day stand down recommended |
| Race 6 | Mickey's Super Liquor C1 Ht3 - C1q - 305 Heat 3 | BIGTIME ALLGO (fav) dwelt at the start and was slow to pick up speed ending up a length or so last in the early running, BIGTIME ALLGO attempted to improve around the field ,but was unable to make up much ground as JUMPIN JULIA set a good pace to run out an easy winner On the run down to the first turn GUNNA EXITE and HOMEBUSH BRITNEY both came together pretty hard with both dogs becoming unbalanced for a couple of strides |
| Race 7 | GEON Wellington C1 Ht4 - C1q - 305 Heat 4 | BIT OR SOME was slow away from the boxes by several lengths ,he was unable to make up much ground there after finishing towards the rear at the line Racing down to the first turn UNTEACHABLE came in as OH EMM EYE came out ,these two dogs jostled together for some distance as they raced in to the first turn NUTS FOR SURE was vetted at the trainers request post swabbing and was found to have torn a nail off outer left hind with a 10 day stand down recommended |
| Race 8 | Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520 | Racing in to the first turn there was tightning and jostling between TWIN TIGERS HOMEBUSH IRIS, RED HERRING, HOMEBUSH LACEY and NICKI HAKA ,all these runners were looking to improve their positions at this point and all were held up in trying to clear each other The winner PERRY WINKLE got a decent break on the field early and carried on for an easy win RED HERRING was observed to drop back on the top of the final bend and finished several lengths last at the line and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 9 | Wanganui Security C1 Ht5 - C1q - 305 Heat 5 | BULET TOOTH (hot fav) dwelt at the start being last away ,he attempted to make a run in to the body of the field ,but soon got on heels and had to check back a couple of times ending up a few lengths in the rear ,he then tried to race around runners however could not make up the ground eventually finishing in 2nd to last placing at the line BULET TOOTH TONY was sent for a vet check as a precaution where he was found to have suffered pain over left trapeize muscle with a 14 day stand down recommended In the run in to the first turn HOMEBUSH JONTY made a run through the field down towards the rail, he misjudged the first turn where he ran in and made contact with the rail, he went back in the field towards the rear finishing in 5th placing at the line HOMEBUSH JONTY was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 10 | Morrie Gibbons Signs C1 Ht6 - C1q - 305 Heat 6 | COURBOURNE ELLEN was very slow away losing 5 or so lengths in the early running ,in the run down to the first turn ASK SIX tried to make ground in the midfield where he ran out of room and fell heavily after clipping the heels of FAWN ALLEGRO,CAWBOURNE ELLEN who was in the rear was forced to take evasive action and hurdled over the top of the fallen runner CAWBOURNE ELLEN recovered well to keep on her feet and finished in the rear of the field and was sent for a precautionary vet check where no abnormalities were found ASK SIX got his feet and ran on to the pull up area a distance behind the field and was sent for a vet check where he was found to have suffereda badly torn webbing with a 21 day stand down recommended |
| Race 11 | Peter Sinclair Photos C2 - C2 - 305 | There was no head on coverage for this race racing in to the first turn BELLA SIENNA andHOMEBUSH JODIE struck trouble with them both being checked going back to the rear and they were not able to get in to contention from there on in filling the last two placings at the line ANOTHER LADY was selected as a swab dog for this race ,after several attempts at trying to get a sample from the dog the swab was abandoned |
| Race 12 | Media Works C2 - C2 - 305 | BRANCH LANE was slow away ,he tried to make ground up making a run through the field to midfield then ran out wide in to the home straight giving away the ground he had made up earlier ,but ran on to finish in 5th placing at the line |
