Shortly after FURIOUS RESPONSE shifted down the track causing GOTTA FIND BUBBA to make contact with FOGGY STORM. RULEBOOK RAY was galloped on by FURIOUS RESPONSE racing into the bend resulting in RULEBOOK RAY losing ground. ROSCA and CAWBOURNE TANK bumped on the final bend. |
| Race 2 | Buy Sell & Exchange Sprint - C0 - 295 | GRIDIRON was very slow to jump. Rounding the bend HUSKER DU and JOHNNYS BLUE made contact with each other before HUSKER DU was forced to check off the heels of JOHNNY BLUE losing ground. BELFAST GLENDA raced wide rounding the final bend. |
| Race 3 | Canteen-Supporting Young Kiwis Living With Cancer Stakes - C0 - 520 | THEOKOLES was slow to jump. FUNNY MONEY shifted out shortly after the start making contact with PIED WARRIOR. PIED WARRIOR checked off OKUKU CRACKER rounding the first bend briefly inconveniencing KOMBUCHA. FUNNY MONEY and DECADO bumped on several occasions rounding the final bend. DECADO shifted outwards early in the run home checking THEOKOLES. |
| Race 4 | Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C1 - 295 | Over the early stages GAZZAS PRIDE and EXCUSE PLEASE bumped, MR MUTOLA and HOMEBUSH DOMINO also came together. Approaching the first bend GAZZAS PRIDE shifted out after being galloped on by EXCUSE PLEASE resulting in GAZZAS PRIDE colliding with RANGITOTO ROHI, UNO IMOGENE and HOMEBUSH DOMINO. MR MUTOLA checked off the heels of EXCUSE PLEASE on the first bend. Rounding the bend UNO IMOGENE checked off the heels of GAZZAS PRIDE resulting in UNO IMOGENE making contact with RANGITOHO ROHI. A post race veterinary examination of RANGITOTO ROHI revealed the dog to be suffering from left gracilis pain with a seven day stand down recommended |
| Race 5 | Garrard's Horse And Hound Stakes - C1 - 520 | THRILLING SADIE and MAXIMUM JEWEL came together at the start. UNSHAKEN shifted down the track shortly after the start checking MAXIMUM JEWEL and HOUSTON. Approaching the first bend SWEET APPEAL shifted inwards causing MAXIMUM JEWEL to make contact with the rear of SWEET APPEAL resulting in both dogs and the trailing HOUSTON falling. Shortly after UNSHAKEN again attempted to shift inwards and made contact with BRASSED OFF. Stewards ordered post race veterinary examinations of SWEET APPEAL, MAXIMUM JEWEL and HOUSTON which revealed all three dogs to be suffering from no injury. |
| Race 6 | Little Brown Jug Dash - C2 - 295 | WANDY HALLEE and OKUKU BOBO came together at the start resulting in KNOW TRUST being tightened. WANDY HALLEE shifted outwards approaching the first bend resulting in KNOW TRUST making contact with the hind legs of WANDY HALLEE and falling. WANDY HALLEE lost considerable ground in the above incident. OKUKU BOB and MEANDER bumped rounding the final bend. Stewards ordered veterinary examinations of WANDY HALLEE and KNOW TRUST which revealed no injury to KNOW TRUST while WANDY HALLEE suffered a mild right hock sprain with a ten day stand down recommended. |
| Race 7 | Pick 6 Leg 1 Sprint - C5 - 295 | ANOTHER MATE was tightened for racing room between BOTANY ZENA and RED VENOM on the first bend. WANDY CHICK was forced to race wider rounding the final bend after checking off the heels of RED VENOM. ANOTHER MATE and RED VENOM came together on the final bend. |
| Race 8 | Carol's T.A.B Stakes - C2 - 520 | ITS NOT EASY was slow to jump. RED LABEL PENNY and HERE EYE AM were checked by WOT PRICE AGRO approaching the first bend when WOT PRICE AGRO shifted down the track. INGA THE WINGA was checked by DISTINCT IMAGE entering the first bend. Rounding the final bend DISTINCT IMAGE lost ground after being tightened for racing room by ITS NOT EASY. |
| Race 9 | Flair Stakes - C3 - 520 | SLIGHTLY AMAZING shifted outwards shortly after the start and collided with HOMEBUSH WILD. Approaching the first bend SOFIAS GIRL checked off the heels SALVADOR BALE and made contact with SLIGHTLY AMAZING and HOMEBUSH WILD. TEPIRITA TIKI and SALVADOR BALE made contacted racing into the first bend. HOMEBUSH WILD checked off SOFIAS GIRL entering the first bend forcing SLIGHTLY AMAZING to race wide. |
| Race 10 | I Pave Concrete Sprint - C3 - 295 | CAWBOURNE FLIPPA shifted inwards approaching the first bend severely checking DIXIE LEE who in turn made contact with KNOW ADVANTAGE. OUR SWEET ROSE was dragged down by KNOW ADVANTAGE rounding the final bend. DAUNTING checked off the heels of CAWBOURNE COOKIE on the final bend resulting in DAUNTING racing wide. |
| Race 11 | Robbie's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C4 - 520 | RINGOS COLT and GRIPEN BALE were slow to begin. DUCHESS MAKAYLA and HOMEBUSH FRASER shifted ground shortly after the start resulting in KNOW PERIL and SHUNT APPEAL being tightened. Approaching the first bend MORIARTY checked off the heels of SHUNT APPEAL resulting in checks to KNOW PERIL and RINGOS COLT. GRIPEN BALE tailed off racing down the back straight finishing a considerable distance from the remainder of the field. Stewards ordered a post race veterinary examination of GRIPEN BALE which revealed no injury. |
