| Race 2 | Dash For Cash Heats C5 Ht2 (Group 2) - C5q - 305 Heat 2 | NIP TUCK checked off the heels of FLAG WAVER and went back and out causing a check to CAWBOURNE LEVI. NIP TUCK then raced very wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in last place with CAWBOURNE LEVI just ahead in 7th place. |
| Race 3 | Dash For Cash Heats C5 Ht3 (Group 2) - C5q - 305 Heat 3 | LITTLE BLACKSPOT and MISSING MELODY were checked back to the rear soon after the start and LITTLE BLACKSPOT then had to check off the heels of ANOTHER GON on the bend and again lost a little ground. |
| Race 4 | Dash For Cash Heats C5 Ht4(Group 2) - C5q - 305 Heat 4 | OPAWA THORN was slow to begin losing four lengths but made up ground well to finish in 4th place. STIFF was jostled for a few strides as CAPTAIN CARLOS shifted in soon after the start and he was then checked losing four lengths on the first corner and finished in last place. CAWBOURNE JOSE checked off the heels of ROYAL PARDON on the first corner losing two lengths. He then improved through inside CAPTAIN CARLOS approaching the home turn and bumped that runner who lost ground and went back and bumped with STIFF for a couple of strides. |
| Race 5 | Dash For Cash Heats C5 Ht5 (Group 2) - C5q - 305 Heat 5 | SCOTT NO FUNDING checked off the back of SEMENYA on the first corner and went back onto BOTANY ANGELA and they lost several lengths and stayed back to finish in the last two places. |
| Race 6 | Keenan Concrete C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | PETROL VOUCHER, DYNA GROLL and HOMEBUSH DIP were all a little slow to begin. HOMEBUSH DIP was checked entering the back straight and went back to last. DYNA GROLL was in 3rd place approaching the home straight but then checked off the heels of the leader and shifted out. Soon after, BOTANY ANN checked off the heels of THRILLING LYRIC and shifted out causing checks to itself and also LOTTO PROFIT, THUNDA THIGHS and DYNA GROLL and they all lost ground. PETROL VOUCHER was finishing well but a few strides short of the winning post, she was checked and this probably cost her the chance of finishing in at least 3rd place. |
| Race 7 | Spion Rose Heats C5 Ht1 (Group 1) - C5q - 520 Heat 1 | BIGTIME KINVARA shifted in from the start and checked SAM I AM who lost ground. The favourite HAVE A YAP was only away fairly and was then checked going to the first corner and ran a little wide into the bend. She was then bumped from the inside on the first bend losing further ground and was never in contention from there and finished in 6th place. |
| Race 8 | Spion Rose HeatsC5 Ht2 (Group 1) - C5q - 520 Heat 2 | BLACK SHELLEEN shifted in from the start and caused checks to EMILY BAXTER, MINT POWER, BADJA BALE and RUN FOR IT. Soon after, MINT POWER shifted in and cused checks to BADJA BALE, RUN FOR IT and FREDDY JOHN with RUN FOR IT and BADJA BALE being the most affected and they lost several lengths and stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 9 | Spion Rose Heats C5 Ht3 (Group 1) - C5q - 520 Heat 3 | LITTLE MOTHER shifted out slightly from the start and checked SIDESHOW BOB who lost ground and settled back in the field. SOSAN and ANOTHER BREEZE jostled together going to the first corner and then on the first bend they jostled together with SNOW TRAIL and ANOTHER BREEZE was the most affected losing two lengths. |
| Race 10 | Spion Rose Heats C5 Ht4 (Group 1) - C5q - 520 Heat 4 | ULTIMATE DREAM was checked soon after the start and lost ground but ran on well to finish in 3rd place. ASSEGAI checked off the heels of MAGIC LASS on the first corner and shifted out forcing COLLISION RISK and BIRCHGROVE BILLY wide into the first bend and all three dogs lost several lengths and all chance and they finished in the last three places. |
| Race 11 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C4 - C4 - 305 | SEDGEBROOK ELITE was slow to begin losing four lengths. The favourite QUEEN MOTHER had every chance with a clear rails run from box 1 but could only finish in 7th place and possibly the favouratism was not justified as she was racing up in class. |
| Race 12 | Broad Roofing C4 - C4 - 305 | THRILLING ALI drifted off the back of the field soon after the start and finished in last place. He appeared sore following the race, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a hock injury. SEDGEBROOK LEE, AERIAL BAXTER and MIRAGE ROYALE were all checked losng ground on the first corner and SEDGEBROOK LEE recovered the best of the three and he finished in 4th place. |
