Judicial report: Trainer Alison Lee reported that WHAT WHERE WHEN was confirmed to have suffered a hairline fracture of a hock after a racing incident at Southland last Tuesday. The dog will now be given a spell. Trainer Marcie Flipp advised Stewards that HALF AS MATE has now been retired. Handler Jason Dunn was fined $50.00 under the Minor Infringements Table after he admitted a breach of Rule 71.4 in that he failed to catch GENTLE HAND in Race 5 as arranged.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	LES HART ran inwards at the jump tightening CAWBOURNE HARVEY who lost ground and then contacting OKUKU OLLIE. Into the bend the favourite KNOW ADVANTAGE was keen to get away from the rail and in doing so badly checked LES HART who dropped to the rear. When in the clear KNOW ADVANTAGE ran on well for second. Handler Jonathon McInerney when questioned in regards to the improved effort of the winner ANOTHER LEGIN replied that having a noted railer in LES HART drawing inside him offered his dog the space he needed to find the early lead.
Race 2	www.greyhoundtips.co.nz Dash - C4 - 295	CAWBOURNE CATCH ran inwards soon after the jump and checked HARD HABITS. HARD HABITS then ran outwards coming together with EMERGE. PURE AND SPECIAL angled inwards on to EMERGE into the bend and soon after OPAWA COLLAR ran inwards checking CAWBOURNE CATCH. On the bend HARD HABITS checked off the back of EMERGE losing more ground with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Stakes - C2 - 520	KNOW FUN was the slowest to jump. ITS NOT EASY was tightened into the first bend and lost some momentum.
Race 4	I Pave Concrete Dash - C3 - 295	OKUKU BOMBER and the favourite CAWBOURNE FLIPPA came together soon after the jump. The second favourite RUSSELL HART wanted off the rail into the bend and in doing so checked ULTIMATE SPICE with these two runners dropping to the rear. On the home turn REDDY BOY shifted outwards checking an improving CAWBOURNE FLIPPA who lost momentum and dropped out to finish sixth.
Race 5	Carol's T.A.B. Stakes - C2/3 - 520	SALVADOR BALE was the last to jump. Into the first bend LETS DEBATE checked outwards and forced EMIE ROSE wide with both runners dropping to the rear where they remained.
Race 6	Jet Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	JOHNNIE GEORGE was the slowest to jump. CAWBOURNE COOKIE was checked as DAUNTING angled away from the fence on the bend with CAWBOURNE COOKIE dropping to the rear.
Race 7	Kolorful Kanvas Feature - C2 - 520	SMOOCHA checked off WOT PRICE AGRO into the first bend and dropped to the rear. On the home turn a weakening SWEET APPEAL received a check and dropped out to finish last.
Race 8	Angler's Arms Tavern Sprint - C5 - 295	CAWBOURNE MOFF was tightened into the bend and lost ground with KINGA MIKE receiving a check in behind and dropping to the rear.
Race 9	Funny Girl NZ Bred Distance - SPECAdq - 645 Heat 1	NINAS GIRL ran wide in the back straight pushing KNOW WHICH over extra ground. NINAS GIRL also ran wide over the concluding stages losing ground.
Race 10	Buy Sell & Exchange Dash - C5 - 295	BOTANY ZENA and JUST BEATRICE dwelt soon after the jump settling at the rear. PURE CHEMISTRY wanted to get to the outside in the run down the back straight and checked itself in the process losing ground. Into the bend HOMEBUSH BAKUGAN was tightened and dropped to the rear.
Race 11	Shirley Veterinary Centre Stakes - C4 - 520	MAMAJA was last to jump. Soon after the jump KNOW PERIL and KING OF CLUBS came together and dropped to the rear. On the first bend LAGOON BEACH BOY checked outwards off KNOW PERIL and pushed MAGIC YOU and KING OF CLUBS wider around that bend.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295	CAWBOURNE DUSTY and DOGGER BANK came together into the bend losing momentum. When questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner FOUR BY TWO handler Callum Weir explained that the downgrade and return to Addington were factors in his favour.
