Track: Good In race 7 the box lids opened prior to the lure arriving and this resulted in the dogs running over a circuit of the track and the race was abandoned. The lure and box opening was thoroughly checked before the next race and the meeting proceeded smoothly for the remainder of the programme. The exact cause of the malfunction has not been conclusively establish but was possibly caused by the catches on the box lids not holding and this will be thoroughly checked and tested prior to the next meeting..

Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	PHAEDRA'S FIRST begab very awkwardly losing several lengths and she stayed at the rear throughout the race. GIRLY DREAMZ was awkwardly placed between LADAKH and HARRY HALL on the first corner and lost two lengths,. The winner ALANA HALL shifted out slightly on the home turn and caused a slight check to LADAKH and then a few strides from the winning post, ALANA HALL shifted in and checked GIRLY DREAMZ who was finishing quickly and the check did cost GIRLY DREAMZ a first three placing..
Race 2	Woodville Sprint C1 - C1 - 375	All clear.
Race 3	Cloverlea Dash C1 - C1 - 375	NEW DESIRE and CAWBOURNE MILLY were slow to begin losing three lengths. LEO'S GIRL was checked on the bend and lost two lengths. LISSADELL REBEL shifted out on the bend and raced wide into the straight covering extra ground and finished well back in 2nd last place.
Race 4	Peter Sinclair Photos C1 - C1 - 375	The favourite TILT YOUR GLASS was the slowest to begin but recovered well to win the race. COUGH IT UP was checked on the first corner and went back to last but made up ground to finish in 5th place.
Race 5	Sparky's Bar and Restaurant C1/2 - C1/2 - 457	SHARKIES DREAM was slow to begin losing three lengths and she stayed back throughout. KNOW ESCAPE and EMMA MARIE were also a little slow to begin but KNOW ESCAPE recovered to secure a clear run through to win while EMMA MARIE raced wide and finished at the rear.
Race 6	Shannon Dash C3 - C3 - 375	The favourite AVONDALE ELITE went off stride in the race to the first corner and drifted off the back of the field to finish several lengths last. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a gracilus muscle injury.
Race 7	Marton Sprint C3/4 - C3/4 - 375	The boxes opened prior to the arrival of the lure and the Greyhounds ran a circuit of the track and the race was abandoned. It appeared that the mechanism on the box lids failed to hold and the Club will have the boxes thoroughly checked before the next meeting.
Race 8	Fielding Dash C5 - C5 - 375	MIRAGE was slow to begin but then recovered quickly to be handy on the first corner. She then collided with MOLLY DARLING and they went back onto ROYAL PARDON with all three dogs losing ground and they stayed back to finish in the last three places. NIP TUCK ran wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground but then ran on well to finish in 2nd place.
Race 9	Foxton Dash C3/4 - C3/4 - 375	AINT THAT COOL was slow to begin losing three lengths but he made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. MINDARIVA shifted in on the first corner and checked THRILLING PIPPI who lost four lengths.
Race 10	www.racingdogs.co.nz C2 - C2 - 375	The favourite KNOW ADVANTAGE was the slowest to begin but was quickly into stride and went to the lead starting on the bend and won the race with ease. OKAY'S DERMOTOFF stumbled in its initial stride out of the boxes and he lost two lengths and settled at the rear.
Race 11	Hokowhitu Stakes C4 - C4 - 457	MR JAZZ MAN shifted out from the start and caused bumping to WANDY KYLE, JAG YOU ARE, BIG EFFORT and DANS CONQUEST who all lost a little momentum.
Race 12	Pahiatua Stakes C3 - C3 - 457	KNOW PERIL shifted out on the home turn and bumped RUN RILEY RUN who ran a little wide covering extra ground and he finished in last place.
