ENABLE and HOMEBUSH NORMAN were the last to jump. ENABLE was then held up when looking for racing room in the run to the turn with this dog checking wide and pushing HOMEBUSH NORMAN wide around that bend. MAKE YOUR MARK was tightened into the bend. ANOTHER HIT was dragged down for a stride into the bend losing momentum and then came together with BELFAST SUZY with both runners losing ground.

SEA SPRAY DORIS was also forced wide around this bend and lost ground. On the home turn GLENMORE LASS, LIAM TITLE and HOMEBUSH BRITNEY all came together when at the tail of the field.

UNSHAKEN was last to jump. Into the first bend the favourite KNOW FUTURE suffered a nasty check when racing to the outside of UNSHAKEN who had improved along the rail. UNSHAKEN ran into the back of BOTANY HORNET out of the back straight when improving and lost momentum. In the home straight KNOW FUTURE jumped on the back of a tiring HOMEBUSH EDITH with both dogs were well back. Post race veterinary checks of these two dogs revealed no injuries.
