Race 1	Otago First4 Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310	VITALIZE missed the jump and BIG GIRL WELSHY lost ground soon after the jump. HOMEBUSH BORIS ran inwards into the turn and checked itself and AUSSIE HAKA. BIG GIRL WELSHY was held up in behind these runners.
Race 2	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C0 - 545	HIT THE LIP was very slow to jump. NAEVIA ran inwards coming together with MR. KNOWALL on two occasions in the early stages. NAEVIA along with kennelmate FINAL GESTURE ran very wide into the first bend losing ground. A post race veterinary check of FINAL GESTURE revealed no injury.
Race 3	Forbury Park Sports Bar Sprint - C0 - 310	WATCH DUTCH GAYE made solid contact with the running rail in the back straight and dropped away with a post race veterinary check revealing a sore triceps muscle with a ten day stand down recommended. BELFAST CHUKKA and NERD CORNER came together on two occasions in the back straight with NERD CORNER losing ground. NERD CORNER also lost ground on the home bend when making contact with the hind quarters of BELFAST CHUKKA. NERD CORNER was found to have a thigh muscle injury following the race with a seven day stand down recommended.
Race 4	Commercial Tavern Green Island Sprint - C1 - 310	SPIRAL EBONY was last on jumping.
Race 5	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C1 - 545	WATERVIEW LASS was slow to leave the traps. KNOW SPARK and WATERVIEW LASS both ran wide into the first bend losing ground.
Race 6	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C1 - 310	BLACK TRIGGER was last to jump. KATIE HAKA checked outwards off runners into the bend and pushed OZARKS MASK wide with both runners losing ground.
Race 7	A. F. Johnston Electrical Sprint - C1 - 310	NIGELS DRIVING weighed in 2.3kgs above his last race weight in August with the connections advising that this weight gain was intentional. NIGELS DRIVING was badly checked soon after the jump as ALS BEST MATE crossed from his outside. On the bend BLACK OZARK got on the heels of the pacemaking HOMEBUSH ZITA and fell with the favourite ALS BEST MATE and LYNDOUR GEM being severely checked as a result. ALS BEST MATE and LYNDOUR GEM then came together for a stride on the home turn. BLACK OZARK regained his paws and completed the event. Post race veterinary checks on BLACK OZARK and HOMEBUSH ZITA revealed no injuries.
