Judicial report: The photo finish operator had transport difficulties and was not able to be on course for the first race, As the dogs were already parading and stir up done it was decided to carry on with race one with the Judge ,Stewards and club manager in the judges box to determin the result
There were clear margins in the finishing order and the race was cleared for payout
An inquiry was opened and adjourned in to an allegation that the starter may have been txting on his phone whilst doing his official duties .

Race 1	Auckland Vending Sprint - C3 - 318	Soon after the start there was tightning and jostling as NATHAN'S CHAMP came out and THRILLING PETRA came in with JETSUN JULES, KEE, GO TO CROW, and PUNK PORTSEA all being squeezed foe several strides Racing in to the first turn NATHAN'S CHAMP came down on to CAPTAIN RICHIE tightning him for several strides and he lost a length or so , Racing on to the top bend GO TO CROW and NATHAN'S CHAMP came together jostling for several strides with NATHAN'S CHAMP going back a couple of lengths Racing down in to the first turn KEE went back through the field and seemed to have gone amiss finishing a distance behind the field at the line KEE was sent for a vet check and was found to be suffering from a right adductor muscle tear with a 28 stand down recommended
Race 2	Founders Day here 18th December - C0 - 318	Racing down to the first turn LAMAR'S LADY cut across the face of the field causing LOVIN' THE ALIEN over on to HAIR SHE IS who was squeezed back and galloped up on the heels of PADDY'S BOY who went back and ran out widest racing across the top bend and down the home straight PADDY'S BOY was observed to be uncomfortable in his galloping action after being galloped on and was sent for a vet check was found to be suffering from a whip muscle and right deltoid muscle injuries with a 10 day stand down recommended Soon after the line NAUGHTY COURTY who ran 3rd clipped heels and took a hard fall NAUGHTY COURTY was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered a right hock injury with a 7 day stand down recommended As the dogs pulled up th the lure MOON WARROWER took a nasty tumble and he was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 3	Auckland Co-Op Taxis Sprint - C1 - 318	J Udy approached the Stewards pre kenneling with his concern regarding a possable injury that AGENT VICTOR may be carrying AGENT VICTOR vwas vet checked and was found to be suffering from a left hock strain with a 28 day stand down recommended PROVEN SHELLY came out of the boxes akwardly ,but recovered quickly and was soon in to stride Soon after the start KID KOONAWARRA tried to cut down to the rail and ran in to EXCITING GIRL causing her to be checked back losing a couple of lengths Racing in to the first turn TEAM JACOB was forced to check back off the heels of EXCITING GIRL as STILL NO WIVES came across fast colliding with BON VOGUE, this caused BON VOGUE to run out wide around the bend and he stayed out wide down the home straight BON VOUGE was checked by the vet and was found to be suffering from left wrist pain with a 14 day stand down recommended
Race 4	McGhie Plumbing Sprint - C2 - 318	Racing down to the first turn REGAL TENT came across on to BIG SAM'S GIRL as CORPORAL JONES came off the rail resulting in BIG SAM'S GIRL being pushed out in to the path of BEARLY POSSIBLE with BIG SAM'S GIRL running out of room and falling, CORPORAL JONES was almost being dragged down at that point CORPORAL JONES went back to the rear and finished well back at the line and was sent for a vet check and was found to have a hock laceration with a right sartorius muscle injury with a 10 day stand down recommended BIG SAM'S GIRL recovered her footing after falling to finish on to the lure some distance behind the field and was sent for a vet check where she had suffered left fore stopper pad injury and grazing with a 7 day stand down recommended
Race 5	Carol's TABS Sprint - C5 - 318	As the field raced in to the top bend JULIA NORRIS checked back off the heels off KISSIN KATE ,with JULIA NORRIS going back on to PUNK DINO who checked back losing a couple of lengths EMBEZZLEMENT was handy in the early rush ,then was soon tightened out of his position as outside runners came across, EMBEZZELEMENT went back to the rear and never improved to finish in last placing at the line
Race 6	Trophies Plus Sprint - C1 - 318	Racing in to the first turn TRIPLEM HAND was tightened as runners came across with him going back to the rear ,wider out DECLARATION was forced to check back of the heels of MR MAJESTIC who had come out wide at that point
Race 7	$15,000 Pick6 Stakes - C1 - 527	On leaving the boxes HOT POOTIE stumbled and went down on her nose losing a couple of lengths ,she raced wide in to the first bend ending up in the rear of the field As they raced in to the first turn PAMPEST and THRILLING MARCH came together with THRILLING MARCH losing ground to the rear On the end of the back straight THRILLING NEWS improved his position around the field cutting down towards the rail resulting in LLAMEDOS being checked and going back to the rear finishing in last placing at the line
Race 8	Magness Benrow Sprint - C4 - 318	Racing down to the first turn ONE TOUGH COOKIE came over and collided with WINSOME ACHEIVER who was pushed over on to LOCHINVAR YASI with RHODA HOLMES being squeezed out of her racing line as these dogs tried to keep their balance racing in to the first turn ,at this point BAD STATE was forced to race wide in to and around the top bend to avoid trouble covering a lot of extra ground
Race 9	Thornton Auctions Stakes - C2/3 - 527	In the run to the first turn THRILLING APRIL and ASCENDING FORCE came together slightly with her becoming unbalanced for several strides ,then was soon tightened again as several runners came over tightning the inside runners ,with THRILLING APRIL going back to the rear and never got in to contention from there on in
Race 10	Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint - C5 - 318	Racing down to the first turn COLLISION RISK came across on to GLOW BELLE DOLL pushing her over towards the rail ,at the same time further out ASSEGAI ran in on to CHEVERTON with ASSEGAI bouncing back out on to GENTLE ATTACK andTALIESIN BLUE running in to GENTLE ATTACK with all these dogs being checked and losing ground TALIESIN BLUE was unbalanced after being checked and he raced wide in to and around the top bend
Race 11	The Brownzy Sports Bar Stakes - C4/5 - 527	CORNELIUS was slow away again today and raced in the rear throughout finishing in last placing at the line CORNELIUS was sent for a vet check as a precaution where no abnormalities were found The kennel Rep Ms Tracey Craik advised the Stewards that the kennels exspected a much better run from the dog today aand were disappointed with the effort The Stewards advised that they would be expecting an improvment in the dogs performances when it next races
Race 12	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C2 - 318	FRIZZLE FRAZZLE was a late scratching at kenneling when found to have a toe injury with a 10 day stand down recommended,Trainer J Udy was questioned by the stewards concerning this injury and he has been working on getting the problem better and felt that the dog was firt to race today,his explanation on this occassion was accepted Soon after the start BIG LASS came out wide as SWIFT SWINGER came across with BEAR CUB, PARADISE CITY and PRIMED TO DASH all coming together jostling for several strides ,PRIMED TO DASH ran out wide to avoid heels as he was squeezed out of a gap at this point At the pull up to the lure PARADISE CITY was noticed to be bleeding from her right back leg, she was found to have suffered a cut to the large vein that was bleeding heavily, this was attended to by the vet with a 14 day stand down recommended
