Judicial report: A very strong wind prevailed through the day making conditions testing for dogs and handlers.

| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295 | HOMEBUSH BRITNEY ran outwards in the early stages pushing KNOW ADVANTAGE wider with WOT PRICE AGRO being tightened to the rear. Into the bend UNO IMOGENE and HOMEBUSH BRITNEY were both badly tightened from inside and outside with these two runners losing ground and MERMAN JEWEL falling when unable to avoid them. CAWBOURNE ANN was checked wider out in this incident. A post race veterinary check of MERMAN JEWEL revealed a sprained wrist with a fourteen day stand down recommended. |
| Race 2 | Challenge Opawa All Up Dash - C0 - 295 | OHOKA GERRY and ZED KAY MAN were slow to jump. SOCRATES ran outwards in the back straight inconveniencing ZED KAY MAN and the favourite WANDY LUCK who lost ground. On the home turn SOCRATES and ZED KAY MAN came together when racing in midfield. |
| Race 3 | Active Electrical Christchurch Ltd Sprint - C0 - 295 | GRIDIRON and PIED WARRIOR were the slowest to jump. Into the bend SHAME ON EAMON ran outwards clipping the back of MAN OH MAN for a stride. MAN OH MAN was not affected by this check and battled well for second. SHAME ON EAMON continued to run outwards off the back of runners on the bend and lost some ground in the process. |
| Race 4 | Bill's Bar & Bistro Sprint - C0 - 295 | OKUKU WEE MAN was very awkwardly away and settled last by five lengths. ADINI and JED NORTON came together for a stride in the early stages. Into the bend TOP NOTCH SOPHIE wanted to run outwards and checked NEW ORDER who went down on her nose and lost her chance. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. Soon after TOP NOTCH SOPHIE and PHAEDRAS FIRST came together and lost ground. On the bend JED NORTON ran inwards and came together with GONE AWOL and lost momentum for a stride. |
| Race 5 | Clarkson Sign Studio Stakes - C1 - 520 | HOOTA SAID was last to jump from the inside. In the run to the first bend TEDDY NOVA ran outwards checking STAR CHICA, JUST TEASING and SEISMIC STORM all of whom dropped to the rear. OHOKA ASHLEY ran very wide around the first bend and almost ran off the track in the back straight losing a few lengths. She ran on well for fourth. HOOTA SAID checked off the back of JUST TEASING on the home turn when both dogs were well back. |
| Race 6 | Borat At Stud Dash - C1 - 295 | This race was delayed by two minutes due to a galloping race running late. TOTALLY CONFUSED was difficult to load in this race. HOMEBUSH KALAMA and MAKE YOUR MARK were the slowest from the traps. WANDY GENO ran inwards in the back straight tightening HOMEBUSH DOMINO and ANOTHER STREET who both lost ground. |
| Race 7 | Garrard's Horse & Hound Sprint - C1 - 295 | MR. BIG STUFF came up with the lids settling a clear last. MR. BIG STUFF then made contact with COOLS THE TUNE when improving on the bend before running on well for fifth. TOMMY TEALEAF was tightened along the inside into the bend and dropped to the rear. |
| Race 8 | Robbie's Bar & Bistro Dash - C1 - 295 | CAWBOURNE TANK ran inwards at the jump checking WANDY OLIVIA who in turn contacted MAINLAND SONIC on their inside. WANDY OLIVIA continued to run inwards and made contact with the running rail into the turn dropping to the rear. A post race veterinary check of WANDY OLIVIA revealed no injury. |
| Race 9 | Buy Sell & Exchange Stakes - C1 - 520 | LINDOP received a check prior to the first bend and dropped to the rear. MULBERRY ROSE was in the leading group into the first bend but ran wide and lost ground with HOMEBUSH CRAIG following suit in behind. |
| Race 10 | Flair Sprint - C1 - 295 | RANGITOTO ROHI ran inwards in the early stages tightening KNOW TURBO, HOMEBUSH SCOTTY, ZOES KEY and RULEBROOK RAY. Into the bend RULEBOOK RAY and HOMEBUSH SCOTTY came together with ZOES KEY being hampered in behind these runners. |
| Race 11 | Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1 - 295 | HOMEBUSH BORIS was a clear last on jumping. POUTAMA RAMA and FLUKY LUCY were both tightened into the bend as LYNDOUR GEM angled towards the rail. BABY FALOU was trampled at the lure and rolled under the rail with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Dash - C2 - 295 | SOMETIMES ALAN ran inwards soon after the jump tightening WHERES MY SEAT and WAVE YA HAND for a stride. Soon after WHERES MY SEAT ran outwards checking OKUKU OLLIE. When improving on the bend OKOKU OLLIE was dragged down for a stride and lost momentum. In behind WAVE YA HAND ran outwards taking the line of WHAT A PEANUT with both runners losing ground. |
