| Race 1 | Super Pets Dash - C2 - 295 | HOMEBUSH NICK ran inwards tightening CULVIE CORGI in the early stages. CULVIE CORGI then ran outwards into the bend losing ground. FULLA PRIDE and EL KILDA came together into the bend wide on the track. Closer in HOMEBUSH NICK was tightened and lost ground. EL KILDA hit the lure hard following the race with a post race veterinary check revealing a lacerated cephalic vein that required sutures with a fourteen day stand down recommended. |
| Race 2 | greyhoundtips.co.nz Sprint - C5 - 295 | CAWBOURNE MOFF, ANOTHER BREEZE and KNOW RIVAL all settled towards the rear after being slow to jump. ALWAYS A STORY was tightened into the bend as RUN FOR IT ran past him and crossed to the fence. ALWAYS A STORY suffered another check as he was losing ground with this runner dropping out to a clear last. A post race veterinary check of ALWAYS A STORY revealed swelling and inflammation of the hock region with a seven day stand down recommended. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C5 - 295 | LES BAXTER and DONT FORGET JET were the last to jump. HOMEBUSH SARGE checked outwards off ALBIES LAD into the bend and pushed UNO HARRIET wider with this runner losing her chance. Into the home straight DONT FORGET JET ran outwards pushing LES BAXTER wider around that bend. |
| Race 4 | Hampden Tavern Sprint - C3 - 295 | ASSERT ran inwards at the jump checking FEARSOME MCKAY who dropped to the rear. Soon after CAWBOURNE EMO was tightened in between ANOTHER BLEND and RAISINS dropping to the rear. |
| Race 5 | Murray@Ray White Ph 3715005 Stakes - C3 - 520 | RINGOS COLT was last to jump. KNOW PERIL was only fairly away from the outside and then was kept wide into the first bend. Matt Roberts the handler of the winner RINGOS COLT was questioned in regards to the dog's improved performance. He stated that the dog had been disappointing in his latest starts but today was able to make clear space for himself and raced up to his ability. |
| Race 6 | racingdogs.co.nz Dash - C5 - 295 | KNOW ATTENTION, DA BOSS and HALF AS MATE were the last to jump. ANOTHER MATE was tightened into the bend losing ground. HALF AS MATE cramped badly just short of the finishing line with a post race veterinary check confirming this with the dog recovering quickly. Trainer Marcie Flipp informed Stewards that in all probability HALF AS MATE will now be retired with this to be confirmed in the coming weeks. |
| Race 7 | Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C4 - 520 | BASILIO BALE was last to jump. ALISARAY received checks from DYNA FRIER, LAGOON BEACH BOY and BASILIO BALE in the early stages of the races dropping to the rear where she stayed. A post race veterinary check of ALISARAY revealed no injury. BASILIO BALE checked off TORQUED UP as BASILIO BALE was making ground on the final bend losing momentum. |
| Race 8 | Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C3 - 295 | AKAISHA BALE ran outwards in the early stages. Into the bend ANYTIME WILL DO and the improving favourite KNOW MISTAKE were badly tightened when in the middle of a line of four dogs with these runners dropping to the rear. CAWBOURNE HARVEY was also inconvenienced and lost his place in this incident. |
| Race 9 | Canteen-Supporting Young Kiwis Living With Cancer Stakes - C4/5 - 520 | TEDDY MARCELLO ran inwards in the early stages with SHUNT APPEAL, ROCK CAKES, KNOW WHICH and SABRE DANCE all receiving some tightening. SHUNT APPEAL found more trouble into the first bend and dropped to the rear with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 10 | Shirley Veterinary Centre Dash - C4 - 295 | BLACK PAN was the last to jump from the inside. Wider out TEPIRITA TIKI ran outwards at the jump checking JACKSON CAT for a stride with that runner losing ground. |
| Race 11 | I Pave Concrete Dash - C5 - 295 | ANOTHER GON was awkwardly away settling last. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295 | TOM FINN was tightened along the inside into the bend and lost ground. Wider out OUR SWEET ROSE was checked by an improving SUNSET BOMBER and dropped to the rear. |
