| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C0 - C0 - 305 | BODHRAN CAILIN jumped on terms with the other runners but was bumped slightly and soon after dropped out to the rear and she finished several lengths last. BODHRAN CAILIN was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury but in the opinion of the Vet, the dog was a liittle light in condition and the Trainer was advised that an improvement in performance would be expected by the Stewards at its next start. SAFFRON FLAHERTY was checked on the bend losing three lengths and finished in 2nd last place. JUKE BOX BOY checked over the heels of the leader and eventual winner BELLA SIENNA in the home straight and soon after eased when racing in a clear 2nd place and finished in 3rd place. JUKE BOX BOY was examined by the Vet, found to have pain over the left abdominal muscle with a 14 day stand down. However, JUKE BOX BOY was stood down for 28 days for a breach of Rule 80.1 b for failing to pursue the lure and is required to complete a satisfactory Trial. |
| Race 2 | Guthrie Bowron C0 - C0 - 520 | REGAL STEP and TWIN TIGERS were slow to begin losing two lengths. REGAL STEP recovered to win the race but TWIN TIGERS stayed back to finish in last place. ASHER checked off the heels of ODE TO LIBERTY on the first corner and shifted out forcing BULLABAKANKA wide into the first bend. ASHER shifted out on the home turn and checked the favourite BARRYS WAY who lost ground and he finished in 6th place. He was examined by the Vet as a precaution and stood down for 7 days with a trapezius muscle injury. The 2nd placed dog OCTANE ROYALE was sent for a post race swab but failed to void after two separate attempts and was then realeased.. |
| Race 3 | Harrison Hire Master C0 Final - C0f - 305 | MEGA RUSH and SYD PHOENIX bumped together soon after the start but quickly recovered. INTENSE ZOOM and HOMEBUSH SIENNA also bumped together at the start and they lost three lengths and stayed back to finish in the rear group. One of the facvourites GIRLY DREAMZ was slow to begin and was then checked twice on the bend and she finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C0 - C0 - 305 | LISSADELL JASPER shifted in from the start and caused checks to itself and also HOMEBUSH ANABEL, TAKE ON ME and MISSION DRIVE and all four dogs lost ground. LISSADELL JASPER then raced very wide on the bend covering extra ground and finished in last place. |
| Race 5 | Morrie Gibbons Signs C1 - C1 - 305 | CAWBOURNE FLICK shifted in going to the first corner and this resulted in checks to CRAZY BABY, HOMEBUSH BERNIE and BOND ECLIPSE who all lost ground and went back to the rear. Soon after this incident, WOT PRICE AGRO shifted in and caused a slight check to CAWBOURNE FLICK. WISE CRACK LAD led going into the bend but then raced wide on the track and did not appear comfortable in its galloping action and lost ground dropping back to finish in 4tth place. WISE CRACK LAD was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with tricep pain. |
| Race 6 | Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 305 | RED LABEL PENNY was slow to begin losing three lengths. She then made up ground but had to check off the back of ELLAVA SCRAP on the bend losing further ground and finished in last place. |
| Race 7 | GEON Wellington C1 - C1 - 305 | JACKIE SHIRAZ and GUNNA EXCITE collided when the start was made and they lost ground and settled at the rear. SISTER VIRTUE galloped on the heels of ANOTHER STREET when that runner shifted in going to the first corner and they both lost ground. HOMEBUSH ALEX was handy on the bend but was checked and went back to last and stayed there to finish in that position. |
| Race 8 | Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 520 | LEOS GIRL checked over the heels of HOMEBUSH IRIS on the first corner and shifted out causing checks to CATCH A PENNIE and THRILLING GRACE. THRILLING GRACE fell and LEOS GIRL and CATCH A PENNIE lost several lengths and all chance. THRILLING GRACE was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. Due to a misunderstanding, there was no catcher for LEOS GIRL and after hearing an explanation from the kennel representative, no further action was required. |
| Race 9 | Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305 | BINTY FLAHERTY and OH EMM EYE were checked on the first corner and went back to the rear and stayed back to finish in the last two places. OH EMM EYE was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with pain in the hind legs. Soon after NUTS FOR SURE was also checked losing five lengths and all chance. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C1/2 - C1/2 - 520 | HOMEBUSH WARRIOR shifted in with a circuit to run and checked MISS SNOW ANGEL who lost ground. LINDOP was checked on the first corner losing four lengths. HOMEBUSH WARRIOR began to lose ground on the first bend and he drifted off the back of the field and finished several lengths last. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a painful wrist injury. |
| Race 11 | Peter Sinclair C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | LE FLAMBEUR was handy enough early in the running but shifted out and bumped with HOMEBUSH TIME and then drifted back through the field causing a check to HAYLEYS WISH. LE FLAMBEUR continued to lose ground and finished in last place. He was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. BELFAST NODDIE collided with CAWBOURNE CHLOE causing that runner to be turned sideways and lose ground on the first corner. |
| Race 12 | Media Works C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | MY BAD JONNY and PARRA SPARRA were slow to begin losing three lengths. TURF MOOR was checked going into the bend and went back and out causing checks to MY BAD JONNY and HOMEBUSH KELLY who also lost ground and they stayed back to finish in the last three places. |
