CHEMICALLY FREE shifted out in the run to the first corner and in doing so caused checks to HARRY HALL and soon after to DECEIVER and DOOSRA. CHEMICALLY FREE continued to race wide and covered axtra ground. |
| Race 2 | Woodville Dash C1 Final - C1f - 375 | ROSEMORE OSTI was one of the slowest to begin but then made up ground until she collided with KRUSSIAN on the first corner and went back to near last. ROSEMORE OSTI then made up some ground to finish in 6th place. |
| Race 3 | Cloverlea Stakes C1 Final - C1f - 457 | RADAR SHIRAZ shifted in on the first corner and checked BONNIE BOUCHEA who went back onto LOTTO RASPBERRY and JUST MAC and they all lost ground. BONNIE BOUCHEA recovered the best of the three affected runners and finished in 4th place with JUST MAC and LOTTO RASPBERRY staying back to finish at the rear. |

| Race 5 | Sparky's Bar and Restaurant C3 - C3 - 457 | RINGOS COLT checked off the heels of KNOW REVENGE on the first corner and shifted out forcing UPAHUT CINDY and RHYME IN MELODY very wide going into the bend with all three dogs losing ground and they finished at the rear. |
| Race 6 | Shannon Dash C3 - C3 - 375 | PIN UP PUPPY was handy on the first corner but was checked losing four lengths and all chance of a dividend placing. MELODY'S MUSE was also racing handy on the bend but was checked from behind by FEARSOME MCKAY losing several lengths and she finished in last place. |
| Race 7 | North Island Challenge Stakes Ht 1 C5 (Group 2) - C5q - 457 Heat 1 | One of the favourites KNOW PEACE collided with EMILY BAXTER when the start was made and lost a little ground. KNOW PEACE then collided with DANS CONQUEST on the first turn and they ran wide covering extra ground on the bend and stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 8 | North Island Challenge Stakes Ht 2 C5 (Group 2) - C5q - 457 Heat 2 | RYBENBROOK FLASH shifted in from the start and checked ROADMAN'S SHACK and THRILLING TUNE who both lost ground. PRETTY GOOD shifted out going to the first corner and checked EMMA'S HEART who went back to last. THREE INCH NAIL shifted out soon after and collided with PRETTY GOOD but they quickly recovered from the contact and finished in 2nd and 3rd places. RYBENBROOK FLASH then shifted in soon after and caused checks to itself and also EMMA'S HEART and ROADMAN'S SHACK and they stayed back to finish in the last three places. |
| Race 9 | North Island Challenge Stakes Ht 3 C5 (Group 2) - C5q - 457 Heat 3 | MORIARTY, MAGIC LASS and KNOW SPUNK were all slow to begin losing three lengths. KNOW SPUNK recovered the best of the three and finished in 3rd place. SAM I AM collided with KNOW SPUNK approaching the home straight and soon after, MORIARTY shifted out after checking off the heels of TARRA MAGIC and collided with SAM I AM who was severely checked and he stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 10 | Foxton Dash C4 - C4 - 375 | One of the favourites RUN FOR IT was the slowest to begin. OUT BY FIVE, VINTAGE LACE and RUN FOR IT were checked on the first corner losing several lengths and all chance and they stayed back to finish in the last three places. |

MINDARIVA galloped on the back of SEMENYA on the bend and severely checked that runner who lost several lengths. MINDARIVA, DONT KNOW and HOMEBUSH REECE were also affected and lost ground in the incident. SEMENYA was examined by the Vet as a precaution and stood down for 5 days with paw lacerations behind |
| Race 12 | NZRS Graduation Ht1 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1 | IT'S NOT EASY began awkwardly losing three lengths but he recovered well to finish in 2nd place. THANKS MERCEDES shifted in soon after the start and inconvenienced KANGO KLINK and EMMA MARIE for a few strides. MICK MANIA and LEO'S GIRL came together and jostled for several strides in the run to the first corner and they lost ground and went back to the rear. |
