WHANGANUI shifted out on the first corner and checked HOMEBUSH SUE who went from a handy position back to last and never recovered. BIGTIME YAHOO ran very wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground and he finished in last place. |
| Race 2 | GEON Wellington C0 - C0 - 457 | CHEMICALLY FREE shifted out going to the first corner and caused checks to HARRY HALL and BULLABAKANKA who both lost ground with BULLABAKANKA the most affected and he went back to last and stayed well back. |
| Race 3 | Woodville Dash Ht1 C1 - C1q - 375 Heat 1 | BELFAST KING and WISE CRACK LAD bumped soon after the start and WISE CRACK LAD lost ground and went back to the rear. A few strides further on MICKEY THE RAT and BELFAST KING collided and they both lost ground. |

| Race 5 | Shannon Dash Ht3 C1 - C1q - 375 Heat 3 | LEOS GIRL shifted in on the first corner and checked OH EMM EYE and a few strides later checked LISSADELL TOBY and they both lost ground. OH EMM EYE recovered to finish in 3rd place but LISSADELL TOBY stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 6 | Sparky's Bar and Restaurant C2 - C2 - 375 | JUST TOM and LOW AND HIGHS collided soon after the start and both lost ground. DONKEY DEEP shifted out slightly on the first corner and THRILLING JOSH on the outside lost ground. THRILLING JOSH was checked on the bend and a few strides later was checked again and he drifted back to finish in last place. |
| Race 7 | Marton Sprint C3 - C3 - 375 | LOUIE MACHALL and MELODYS MUSE were slow to begin losing two lengths. MELODYS MUSE recovered well to finish in 2nd place. OUR PLAYBOY was checked back to the rear on the first corner but he made up ground well to finish in 4th place. PIN UP PUPPY was handy on the first corner but was checked losing three lengths. He then collided with RHYME IN MELODY on the home turn and finished in last place. Soon after that incident, RHYME IN MELODY collided with LOUIE MACHALL and they both lost ground. |
| Race 8 | Fielding Stakes C4 - C4 - 457 | DANS CONQUEST was slow to begin losing three lengths but he recovered well to finish in 2nd place. SNOW TRAIL and THRILLING TUNE were both checked on the first corner losing several lengths and all chance and they finished at the rear. |
| Race 9 | Foxton Dash C4 - C4 - 375 | LOTTO BIFF and THRILLING PIPPI were checked on the first corner losing several lengths and they stayed back to finish at the rear. SALLY SAY SO was also checked in the incident and lost three lengths. The favourite VINTAGE LACE shared the lead on the bend but was checked losing three lengths and she finished in 5th place. |
| Race 10 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C5 - C5 - 375 | ROADMANS SHACK was the slowest to begin and settled at the rear but with a clear run through on the rail, he finished in 5th place. GO CRASH was tightened between runners going to the first corner and he went back to last. |
| Race 11 | Hokowhitu Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 | BIRCHGROVE BILLY and BANDANNA PETE were slow to begin losing ground with BANDANNA PETE in particular losing five lengths. RUN RILEY RUN and RYBENBROOK FLASH jostled together for several strides in the run to the first corner and both dogs lost ground. RYBENBROOK FLASH was checked on the bend losing three lengths and he never recovered and finished in last place. |
