Track: Good The track was very wet before the races but a strong wind helped dry it out to become an excellent racing surface.

Race Number Race Name Incident Report
Race 1 Otago First4 Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310 MANAPOURI and HURRY HOME were slow from the traps. Into the bend MANAPOURI was tightened and dropped to the rear with MAN OH MAN being inconvenienced at this point and losing ground.
Race 2 Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C1 - 310 BOMBAY TRAM was the last to jump. The favourite MR. BIG STUFF was a shade slow and then checked outwards off runners in the early stages losing ground. He made ground well for second. Into the bend OKUKU SKYHIGH was badly tightened and dragged down with TOWER and BOMBAY TRAM being checked as a result. OKUKU SKYHIGH was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed no injury.
Race 3 Speedprint Shop Sprint - C1 - 545 MIGHTY PROPHET was slow to jump. DYNA GROLL ducked outwards at the jump checking ROXY RASCAL for a stride. MIGHTY PROPHET ran wide into the home straight forcing CAWBOURNE JAKE over extra ground.
Race 4 www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C1 - 310 JAFFA GUN, AUSSIE HAKA and RUSSELL HART were the last three to leave the traps.
Race 5 Roofing Solutions Sprint - C2 - 310 CAWBOURNE TOBES was last to jump. DIXIE LEE ran outwards in the back straight slightly impeding CAWBOURNE HARVEY and HOMEBUSH TIME for a few strides. On the bend HOMEBUSH TIME was badly checked from behind by TUI HOTLIPS and lost a considerable amount of ground. A post race veterinary check of HOMEBUSH TIME revealed no injury.
Race 6 A. F. Johnston Electrical Stakes - C2 - 545 WEARY TRAVELER and CROSSFIRE MAX were the last to jump. On the final bend MISS CHANDON received a check as HERE EYE AM went past it and crossed to the rail. MISS CHANDON then shortened stride and lost ground with TEPIRITA ALI making contact as she passed him. MISS CHANDON dropped out to finish last with a post race veterinary check revealing severe cramp although no stand down was deemed necessary. Trainer Malcolm Grant informed Stewards that he had stepped this bitch up to a middle distance today for the first time in this country and will be reverting to sprints for her immediate racing.
Race 7 Green Island Barber Sprint - C3 - 310 HOMEBUSH DIGBY, GENISTA LIGHTNIN and JOHNNIE GEORGE were all tardy at the traps. CAWBOURNE EMO was checked by JOHNNIE GEORGE into the bend and dropped to the rear. On the home bend MR. CAMEROON ducked outwards coming together with JOHNNIE GEORGE for a stride with that runner losing some momentum.
Race 8 President's Sprint - C4 - 310 ACHEW ACHEW came up with the lids settling at the rear. HOMEBUSH REECE ran inwards at the jump tightening ACHEW ACHEW and VAMPIRES SHADOW momentarily. WHERES JOHN CEE ran outwards in the back straight checking WHERES ROBYN and VAMPIRES SHADOW with these runners losing ground.
Race 9 Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C4/5 - 545 AWESOME BENDER was tightened in the early stages and dropped to the rear. WEONA DARLING and SAM I AM came together in the run to the first bend with SAM I AM stumbling and losing ground. WEONA DARLING and SHUNT APPEAL ran very wide around the first bend.
Race 10 Keyosk Service Bar Sprint - C1 - 310 ANOTHER STREET ran inwards at the jump checking kennelmate LINDOP who lost ground. ANOTHER STREET continued her inwards movement in the back straight contacting NAEVIA prior to the bend. Into the bend TARGET HAND checked outwards off NAEVIA and pushed ANOTHER STREET wide around that bend. Following the race OKOTOKS was observed to be limping with a post race veterinary check revealing cramp with no stand down required.
Race 11 Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Dash - C5 - 310 This race was delayed by two minutes due to an Australian race running late. In a straggly start THRILLING CLOVER, TEPIRITA TIKI and FOUR BY TWO were all slow to find their paws. THRILLING CLOVER made contact with the rails on two occasions in the back straight dropping out to finish last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 12 Racing Again Tuesday 15th November Sprint - C1 - 310 MAKE YOUR MARK crossed WHAT WHERE WHEN in the early stages with that runner dropping to the rear. This runner did well to run into second. RULEBOOK RAY and FOGGY STORM were tightened into the bend and lost ground.
