Weather: Raining
Track: Heavy The meeting was conducted in abysmal conditions however the track still stood up remarkably well. The rain on the back straight camera meant that this view was of limited value.

Judicial report: Trainer Ray Casey reported to Stewards that following last Thursday's race OKUKU BOMBER was found to have a stress fracture of the metacarpal and would be spelled.

Race 1	ADDED ENERGY WELCOME - C2 - 390	This race was delayed by two minutes due to water interrupting the power supply to the lure. The dogs were removed from the boxes while this problem was attended to. HOMEBUSH BUFFY and BOMBAY TRAM came together soon after the jump. HOMEBUSH KITTY and BOMBAY TRAM were tightened along the inside into the bend with TUI HOTLIPS being inconvenienced in behind these runners.
Race 2	$25 YARD MUZZLE STAKES - C4 - 390	ANOTHER BREEZE crossed quickly from his outside draw taking the line of MUSTARD FUDGE and STAGS INGILL in the early stages with these two runners losing ground.
Race 3	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C3 - 390	LA PYTHON checked outwards off VAMPIRES SHADOW into the bend and pushed HOMEBUSH JAG and GEORGIE LEE wider.
Race 4	BRENDON BURKE @ SOUTHERNWIDE - C1 - 390	This race ran two minutes late due to a false start in the prior harness event. ANOTHER LADY was slow to jump.
Race 5	$26 FIVE WIRE MUZZLE STAKES - C1/2 - 457	MAGIC LASS, CROSSFIRE MAX and KNOW MISTAKE were the last to jump. KNOW MISTAKE improved quickly to lead into the bend tightening KINGSTON FLYER and HOMEBUSH WILD on the inside with WALK DA TORQUE also inconvenienced at this stage. KNOW MISTAKE weakened in the concluding stages finishing fourth. On the home turn KNOW PERIL ran outwards checking WALK DA TORQUE for a stride.
Race 6	COLORMARK SYSTEMS LTD - C5 - 390	SUNSET BOMBER was last to jump. CAWBOURNE CATCH appeared to be tightened in between runners into the bend and dropped to the rear.
Race 7	WILLY'S FLOORING LTD - C0 - 457	BLACK EMILY and SECRET VENUS were the last to jump. JOHNNYS BLUE and KNOW ADVANTAGE came together in the run down the back straight as TRICKY HARRY caused some pressure from wider out on the track. Into the bend TIE MY TIE was dragged down on two occasions losing ground with TRICKY HARRY and SECRET VENUS being inconvenienced in behind. A post race veterinary check of TIE MY TIE revealed no injury.
Race 8	100% SELECTRIX - C1 - 390	SECRET ICE was last to jump from the outside. COOLS THE TUNE received a check and lost ground into the bend while soon after ROSCA suffered the same fate and ran outwards pushing OLD OZARK wider around the bend. On the home turn GOTTA FIND BUBBA checked outwards off COOLS THE TUNE and lost some momentum.
Race 9	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C1 - 457	ICEBERG RAPPER and REAL SLIM SHADY were last to jump. ICEBERG RAPPER was squeezed up on the home bend and dropped away with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 10	ASCOT PARK HOTEL - C5 - 390	STARBURST STUMPY was handy early but dropped out quickly with a post race veterinary check revealing shoulder and gracilis soreness with a 14 day stand down recommended. WHERES ROBYN was wide throughout and weakened out in the run home.
Race 11	KELVIN HOTEL. - C3/4 - 457	HOMEBUSH FRASER, LETS DEBATE and TIJAN came together in the early stages wide on the track. MAGIC YOU received a check on the bend losing ground.
Race 12	justracing.com.au - C4 - 390	HOMEBUSH REECE ran inwards in the early stages checking ANOTHER LEGIN who dropped to the rear. GENISTA OUTLAW checked off runners on the home turn and lost ground.
