| Race 1 | Super Pets Stakes - C2 - 520 | ITS NOT EASY was a shade slow to jump. OHOKA ZOE was tightened into the first bend losing a length. YAPSTER JEWEL checked off the back of KNOW PERIL on the first bend and dropped to the rear. At the lure OHOKA ZOE fell and was trampled by other dogs with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 2 | Happy Birthday Lisa Grant Dash - C2 - 295 | CAWBOURNE BUNDY was last to jump. LES HART ran inwards at the start checking a number of runners namely WHAT A PEANUT, FLAT BATTERY, CULVIE CORGI and to a lesser extent the favourite KNOW MISTAKE. LES HART then got checked from behind into the bend and dropped back through the field. The winner NIPPA MARY was knocked over at the lure with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295 | SWIP TASTIC was tightened into the bend and then badly dragged down by VISUAL ILLUSION who also received a bad check. Both of these runners dropped out to the rear with post race veterinary checks revealing no injuries. |
| Race 4 | Mainland Press Stakes - C2/3 - 520 | SLICE OF MAGIC was very slow to jump. This dog made ground very late to be in behind the placegetters. DUCHESS MAKAYLA ran outwards checking HOMEBUSH WILD for a stride in the early stages while soon after BASILIO BALE ran outwards with DISTINCT IMAGE receiving a check a losing ground. Kennel representative Jonathon McInerney was questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner HOMEBUSH WILD. He told Stewards that the win was unexpected and that the dog had obviously improved with its fresh up run at Ascot Park last week. |
| Race 5 | Galaxy Heats Tomorrow Sprint - C3 - 295 | ANOTHER LEGIN checked off the back of CAWBOURNE SHOT into the bend and dropped to the rear. CAWBOURNE SHOT ran wide into the home straight and pushed FOUR TO MIDNIGHT wider with these runners filling the last two placings. |
| Race 6 | Buy Sell & Exchange New Zealand Cup Heat - C5q - 520 Heat 1 | TIAN HAO SURFER, RINGOS COLT and MORIARTY were the slowest from the traps. EMIE ROSE was keen to run outwards in the early stages and checked MORIARTY with that runner being pushed wide and losing ground into the first bend. |
| Race 7 | Buy Sell & Exchange New Zealand Cup Heat - C5q - 520 Heat 2 | DARLYNE OTTEY ran outwards in the early stages tightening HAMPDEN JACK who dropped to the rear. The favourite ANOTHER DOLLAR was also impeded at this stage and forced wide around the first bend. ANOTHER DOLLAR then contacted DARLYNE OTTEY at the entrance to the back straight with both dogs losing some momentum. ANOTHER DOLLAR recovered to run third with DARLYNE OTTEY dropping out over the concluding stages. |

OPAWA FLYER was tightened by THRILLING RANSOM into the first bend and lost ground. MAINLAND STAR gave ground at the end of the back straight and dropped out to finish last with a post race veterinary check revealing a torn right gracilis with a 28 day stand down recommended. |
