BIGTIME ALLGO shifted in on the first corner and collided with ZACCARA and both lost ground with ZACCARA being the most affected and he went back to last and finished in that position.BIGTIME ALLGO made up ground to win the race. SYD PHOENIX and LEOS GIRL collided on the home turn and SYD PHOENIX lost ground and dropped back to finish in 6th place with LEOS GIRL recovering to finish in 3rd place. |
| Race 2 | Guthrie Bowron C0 - C0 - 305 | HOMEBUSH EDDIE was slow to begin but then secured a clear run through on the rail to finish well for 4th placing. HOMEBUSH SUE shifted in on the first corner and checked BIGTIME YAHOO who went back and out causing checks to LISSADELL JASPER, HOMEBUSH GAZEL and STONES RIVER and they all lost ground and finished in the last four places. |

GUNNA EXCITE shifted in on the first corner causing tightening and resultant checks to MS TOURNAMENTAL, HOMEBUSH BORIS, PHANTOM FOG and FAWN ALLEGRO who all lost ground and they finished in the last four places. |

| Race 6 | Palamountains Nutrition C2 - C2 - 305 | SINGLE SCULLER and DESIRE came together and bumped when the start was made and both lost a little ground. SINGLE SCULLER then shifted out and bumped with GINA MAC and they both lost ground. TERROE JIM shifted in on the first corner and forced DESIRE in onto BOTANY STORY who dropped back and SINGLE SCULLER had to ease to avoid that runners heels. |
| Race 7 | GEON Wellington C2 - C2 - 305 | HOMEBUSH JAG and LEVERAGE bumped together soon after the start and they were then checked back to the rear on the first corner as outside runners shifted in and they stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 8 | Keenan Concrete Final C1 - C1f - 520 | One of the favourites BIG GIRL WELSHY scrambled in its initial strides out of the boxes and went back to last. She then ran wide covering extra ground on the first bend but then started to make up ground going into the last bend but galloped on the back of BOTANY HORNET and they both lost ground and finished at the rear. MUSTARD KEEN checked over the heels of WHAT A MATE soon after the start and settled well back. LOTTO RASPBERRY checked off the heels of BOTANY HORNET going to the back straight and lost three lengths. |
| Race 9 | Mickey's Super Liquor C0 D - C0d - 645 | SHODSIE was slow to begin and then had to check over the heels of JAG YOU ARE on the first corner losing further ground but ran on well to finish in 2nd place. |
| Race 10 | Media Works C1 - C1 - 520 | SHARKIES DREAM was slow to begin losing three lengths. The favourite HOUSTON was checked soon after the start losing three lengths but she made up ground to finish in 3rd place. |
| Race 11 | Peter Sinclair Photos C1 - C1 - 305 | HAYLEYS WISH was checked soon after the start losing two lengths. CAWBOURNE MILLY and SHRECKLES were checked on the first corner and went back to the rear. SHRECKLES then drifted off the back of the field and finished several llengths last and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
