| Race 2 | Happy Birthday Pam Hurd Sprint - C1 - 295 | TOTALLY CONFUSED ran inwards soon after the jump checking LOTSA STYLE and RUSSELL HART who lost ground. Into the bend RUSSELL HART checked outwards off TOTALLY CONFUSED as that runner crossed to the rail with RUSSELL HART contacting LOTSA STYLE and LIGHTNING FEVER who both lost ground. |
| Race 3 | Robbie's Bar & Bistro Sprint - C0 - 295 | PHAEDRAS FIRST, EXCUSE PLEASE and NEW ORDER were the last to jump. EXCUSE PLEASE ran inwards in the early stages checking PHAEDRAS FIRST who lost ground. |
| Race 4 | Trackside Dining NZ Cup Ph 3386145 Dash - C1 - 295 | GOTTA FIND BUBBA was very awkwardly away settling last. MR. BIG STUFF checked off the back of OKUKU LILLY into the bend and lost some momentum. |
| Race 5 | Jet Pets Stakes - C0 - 520 | ROXY RASCAL crossed in front of the field in the early stages and checked the favourite OHOKA ASHLEY who lost ground. Into the bend OHOKA ASHLEY checked outwards into the paths of SEA SPRAY DORIS and KNOW SURPRISE with these runners losing their chances. A post race veterinary check of OHOKA ASHLEY revealed no injury. |
| Race 6 | Churchill's Hotel Dash - C2 - 295 | WHAT A PEANUT was a shade slow. FIERY FLOWER, JIMMY CEE and BLUESKY WONDER all came together in the early stages settling well back. FIERY FLOWER was tightened into the bend and ran outwards pushing CULVIE CORGI very wide with these runners losing ground and their chances. |
| Race 7 | Pick 6 Leg 1 Stakes - C1 - 520 | HOMEBUSH EDITH was last to jump. STAR CHICA angled away from the rail into the bend and checked TEDDY NOVA outwards on to MOLLY PARTON who received a bad check and lost ground. |
| Race 8 | Buy Sell & Exchange Sprint - C3 - 295 | This race was delayed by two minutes due to the harness meeting running late. VISUAL ILLUSION was last to jump. BLACK SHELLEEN and RONRAY CRUISER came together into the bend with both runners losing ground. |
| Race 9 | Addington Events Centre Stakes - C2 - 520 | This race was again ran late due to ongoing delays at Invercargill harness. Into the first bend the well supported ITS NOT EASY received a check as WALK DA TORQUE angled outwards with these two runners again coming together soon after and dropping to the rear. A post race veterinary check of ITS NOT EASY revealed no injury. |
| Race 10 | Shirley Veterinary Centre Dash - C4 - 295 | TOM FINN was the last to jump. OUR SWEET ROSE ran inwards soon after the jump contacting TRILOGY SERIES. Into the bend WANDY CHICK angled outwards tightening CAWBOURNE FELIX who lost a length. |
| Race 11 | Hampden Tavern Stakes - C3 - 520 | SLICE OF MAGIC ambled out of the boxes settling a clear last. DUCHESS MAKAYLA was keen to run outwards in the early stages taking the line of GENTLE HAND and BASILIO BALE who lost ground. Into the first bend BASILIO BALE found trouble when in between runners with KNOW REVENGE being badly checked in behind and dropping to the rear. BASILIO BALE ran wide around that bend also dropping to the rear. KNOW REVENGE was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed no injury. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Dash - C3 - 295 | RAISINS ran inwards at the jump checking ANOTHER WISH and SWIP TASTIC. Simutaneously OSWALD BOATENG ran outwards with SWIP TASTIC and RAISINS checked again. RAISINS dropped to the rear as a result of these checks. Into the bend HOMEBUSH SARINA was dragged down for a stride losing some momentum. |
