MY GIRL MARINA crossed to lead in the early stages pushing RUSSELL HART inwards on to UNO IMOGENE and the favourite CAWBOURNE TOBES who was checked and lost momentum. RUSSELL HART then checked outwards off OKUKU LILLY to find racing room and finish well to win. |
| Race 2 | Challenge Opawa All Up Dash - C0 - 295 | HUSKER DU was very difficult to box with the dog spreading its back legs on boxing. This dog will be boxed first in future starts. HOMEBUSH LACEY was last to jump. TOP NOTCH SOPHIE was tightened into the bend as BRASCH crossed in front of her and lost ground. EXCUSE PLEASE ran outwards into the bend and checked FULL OF VINO and HUSKER DU with these runners losing ground. BRASCH was noticeably sore on pulling up with a post race veterinary check revealing a reoccurrence of right wrist pain with a 21 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 3 | Sensative Harry At Stud Dash - C1 - 295 | LOTSA STYLE was last to jump. CAWBOURNE ANN received some tightening into the bend losing ground while soon after RULEBROOK RAY was checked and dropped to the rear. |
| Race 4 | Shirley Veterinary Centre Maiden Final - C0f - 520 | NITRO EXPRESS and HOMEBUSH GAZEL were both very slow to leave the traps. MAXIMUM JEWEL ran inwards at the jump dictating the line of SEA SPRAY DORIS in the early stages. SEA SPRAY DORIS then ran very wide around the first bend and in the back straight losing ground. On the home turn FUNNY MONEY checked off the back of MAXIMUM JEWEL and lost some momentum. |
| Race 5 | Farewell Mark Wilson Sprint - C0 - 295 | HOUSTON checked off the back of CAWBOURNE TANK into the bend and pushed JUMPIN JALAPENO wide with these dogs losing ground. |
| Race 6 | David Emerson Consultancy Sprint - C1 - 295 | JIMMY CEE ran inwards soon after the jump pushing HOMEBUSH ROSEBUD and ALL AGAINST ME towards the inside. Soon after HOMEBUSH ROSEBUD appeared to clip the rail and lose ground with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. GLENMORE LASS ran outwards into the bend checking MERMAN JEWEL. JIMMY CEE checked off the back of CAWBOURNE AVA into the bend. |
| Race 7 | Borat At Stud Sprint - C1/2 - 295 | APATCHIE SCOTT ran outwards into the bend with favourite CAWBOURNE EMO, ANOTHER BLEND and FLAT BATTERY all receiving bad checks and losing ground. |
| Race 8 | Clarkson Sign Studio Stakes Final - C1f - 520 | BOTANY HORNET ran inwards soon after the jump with the two favourites LIFES GREAT and STILL HELINA both being tightened along the inside. STILL HELINA then ran wide into the first bend losing ground and LIFES GREAT checked off BOTANY HORNET on the same bend and dropped to the rear. |
| Race 9 | Power Farming Ltd Dash - C1/2 - 295 | In a tightly compacted field into the bend SPEEDY LEESHELLE moved outwards with SOMETIMES ALAN and BETTY BEATZER receiving checks and losing ground. |
| Race 10 | Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C1 - 520 | STATE DA OBVIOUS ran outwards in the early stages disrupting the passage of MEECES TO PIECES and the favourite KNOW FUTURE who both dropped to the rear. MULBERRY ROSE ran wide around the first bend and lost some ground in the process. |
| Race 11 | Carol's T.A.B's Dash - C1 - 295 | Soon after the start KATIE HAKA ran inwards and checked TARGET HAND and MAINLAND SONIC who lost ground. TARGET HAND then ran wide into the bend before running on well for fourth. On the home turn KATIE HAKA clipped the rear of POUTAMA RAMA when both dogs were at the rear. |
