| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C1 - C1 - 305 | CAWBOURNE ELLEN was slow to begin losing three lengths. CYCLONE SIX shifted in from the start and checked BRANCH LANE who lost ground. HOMEBUSH BERNIE shifted in on the first corner and checked KUROHARA and MS TOURNAMENTAL who both lost ground. BRANCH LANE caught the heels of CYCLONE SIX on the first turn causing that runner to stumble and fall and BRANCH LANE also lost ground in the incident. CYCLONE SIX was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a shoulder injury. KUROHARA appeared sore following the race, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with shoulder pain. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C1 - C1 - 305 | ENAZUMA was very slow to begin losing six lengths. BIT OF VISION shifted out on the home turn and collided with INIGO JONES and EMMA MARIE who both lost ground. BIT OF VISION appeared to suffer an injury and dropped out to finish several lengths last and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 42 days with a hock injury |

JOE BANNER checked off the heels of CHAINSAW PETE on the first corner and shifted out forcing BOTANY ADAM and CHELSEAS BEAUTY wide into the bend with all four dogs losing ground and they stayed back to finish in the last four places. CULLENS IMPACT shifted in down the home straight and checked THRILLING ANNIE and this possibly cost THRILLING ANNIE the chance of a closer placing than 4th. |
| Race 6 | Mickey's Super Liquor C3 - C3 - 305 | TRICKY PAULA led from the start but then ran very wide on the bend and into the home straight covering extra ground and she finished in 6th place. KEITHY GEE shifted in running to the first corner and checked THUNDA THIGHS who went back to last and finished in that position. |

RHYME IN MELODY drew box 8 and raced wide over extra ground on the first bend and she stayed at the rear throughout the race. |
| Race 8 | Media Works C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | The favourite BIG EFFORT was checked back to the rear when LOTTO PROFIT shifted out soon after the start. BIG EFFORT did not look entirely comfortable in his galloping action and stayed well back throughout to finish in 2nd last place. BIG EFFORT was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with a wrist injury. TAILS OFF drew box 8 and was slightly checked on the first corner and again entering the back straight and finished in last place. |
| Race 9 | Keenan Concrete Wanganui C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | SHODSIE was slow to begin losing three lengths. REGAL DANCER shifted in soon after the start and caused checks to TARRA MAGIC, CATCH A PUNTA and THREE INCH NAIL. The favourite THREE INCH NAIL checked off the heels of BUDDY BROKE on the first corner and they collided on the first bend losing furhter ground with THREE INCH NAIL being the most affected and he went back to last and stayed there for the remainder of the race. THREE INCH NAIL was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with a quadricep injury. |

PALOMINE who drew box 1, was checked on the first corner as runners further out shifted in and he went back onto PLANKING who lost three lengths and he stayed back to finish in last place. BOUND BY PRIDE was tightened between FREDAS ANGEL and SCOTT NO FUNDING soon after the start and lost ground. |
