Judicial report: Trainers Freeman / Turnwald were late to kennel two Greyhounds and after receiving an explanation, Mr Frreeman was reminded of their obligations to make themselves aware of kennelling times but no further action was required on this ocassion.

Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	JUKE BOX BOY was handy going to the first corner but eased right up losing several lengths and he stayed back to finish in last place. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a latissimus dorsi injury and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before his next start. PATCH UP led by four lengths approaching the home turn but eased losing several lengths and finished in 5th place and the Trainer elected to admit the dog had breached Rule 80.1 b and PATCH UP was stood down for 28 days and is required to complete a satisfactory trial.
Race 2	GEON Wellington C1 - C1 - 375	EMMA MARIE, BOND ECLIPSE , HOMEBUSH JODIE and AVONDALE ELITE were slow to begin losing three lengths. WISE CRACK LAD led to the home turn but shifted out and checked AVONDALE ELITE who was challenging on the outside. AVONDALE ELIITE lost ground but recovered to finish in 2nd place while WISE CRACK LAD dropped out to finish in last place and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a bicep tendon injury. KRUSSIAN was a late scratching when the Trainer reported that the dog may have had access to some tea leaves on the boundary of her property on race morning. KRUSSIAN was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days and was subjected to a swab.
Race 3	Woodville Stakes C1 - C1 - 457	HOWLIN WIND jumped in at the start and checked DARLEK KHAN and a few strides later he shifted in again causing a further check to DARLEK KHAN who lost two lengths. GROOVY SHANE shifted in on the first corner and DARLEK KHAN was again checked and lost three lengths. TIZA FEVER went off stride shortly after the start and dropped out to finish a long last and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a tibia injury. HOWLIN WIND checked over the heels of YIFRASHEWA on the home turn and shifted out causing a check to CONOR MACHALL but they recovered to finish in 2nd and 3rd places. YIFRASHEWA suffered most in the incident losing four lengths and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with bruising to a tibia.
Race 4	Peter Sinclair Photos C1/2 - C1/2 - 375	THRILLING JOSH and JUST TOM were slow to begin losing three lengths. WHERE'S WALLY shifted out on the first corner and checked MR MUTOLA and JUST TOM who both lost ground and they finished at the rear.
Race 5	Shannon Dash C1 - C1 - 375	THRILLING HALO was a little slow to begin and settled back in the field and she then ran very wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground and she finished well back. BELFAST KING shifted in on the first cornerr and checked KUROHARA and SLATER'S MATE who both lost ground.
Race 6	Sparky's Bar and Restaurant C3 - C3 - 375	OUR PLAYBOY was slow to begin losing four lengths but he recovered to finish in 3rd place. BACK AT YA and one of the favourites GO CRASH were handy enough on the bend but drifted back and then collided and they finished in the last two places. They were both examined by the Vet as a precaution and GO CRASH was cleared of injury but BACK AT YA was stood down for 5 days with a metatarsus abrasion, .
Race 7	Marton Stakes C4 - C4 - 457	THRILLING BOSS was slow to begin losing two lengths. BUDDY BROKE made contact with THRILLING BOSS and stumbled on the first corner losing four lengths and went back to last but he did make up ground to finish in 4th place. THRILLING BOSS and RYBENBROOK FLASH collided on three ocassions on the home turn and soon after entering the home straight and they both lost ground and finished at the rear.
Race 8	Fielding Dash C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	BERELLA CHELSEA, SEMENYA and FLAG WAVER were all checked on the first corner losing four lengths and all chance of finishing in the first three places.
Race 9	Foxton Dash C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	MINDARIVA was slow to begin but he recovered well to finish in 2nd place.
Race 10	www.racingdogs.co.nz C4 - C4 - 375	SUIT YOURSELF, OPAWA BLACK, ERIC PHOENIX and BOMBER MAN were all slow to begin losing three lengths. ERIC PHOENIX then shifted in and collided with OPAWA BLACK and went back to last and finished in that position. SUIT YOURSELF recovered best of the slow starters and although running wide on the bend, he made up ground to finish in 3rd place.
Race 11	Hokowhitu Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	FREDDY JOHN was slow to begin losing three lengths. NIP TUCK raced wide on the bend and into the straight coveriing extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 12	Pahiatua Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	LOTTO PROFIT shifted out slightly on the first corner making contact with COOKED THE BOOK who was put off balance and fell. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with mild bruising over the spine.
