| Race 1 | www.agrc.co.nz Sprint - C4 - 318 | From the boxes GEMZ and TAIIESIN BLUE came together and bumped for a stride LENNONVILLE got on heels racing in to the first turn and had to change ground outwards in avoiding more heels when looking for clear racing room |
| Race 2 | Ashford Boarding Kennels and Cattery Sprint - C0 - 318 | From the boxes BON VOGUE raced across sharply causing FLYING REAPER to be checked back slightly at that point Racing down in to the first turn THRILLING CHAOS changed ground inwards which resulted in STRAPPED FOR CASH running up on her heels ,both dogs were hampered for a couple of strides losing ground KARLA LEWINSKY raced in to the top bend akwardly which cost her a couple of lengths |
| Race 3 | Thornton Auctions Sprint - C1 - 318 | This race was put back one miinute at the request of raceday control, ART ATTACK (fav) was forced to race wide throughout the journey from an outside box as racing in to the first turn TEAM JACOB came through the field forcing TODD out on to ART ATTACK and TRIPLEM HAND resulting in these two dogs racing out very wide across the top bend where they lost all chance of being in a divedend bearing position filling the last two placings at the line ART ATTACK covered a lot of extra ground across the top bend and was never able to get in to contention there after finishing in last position at the line |
| Race 4 | Auckland Vending Sprint - C2 - 318 | Soon after the start THRILLING JAFFA came in as TEN FOUR came out resulting in CORNWALL ROAD being squeezed back to the rear, racing in to the first turn CORNWALL road had to check back off the heels of VIBURNAM and he ran out in avoiding running on to VIBURNAM and was forced to race out very wide as MATILDA'S BEST came out in avoiding THRILLING JAFFA with CORNWALL ROAD going very wide across the top bend losing all hope of being in a copmpetitive position there after finishing in last placing at the line CORPORAL JONES race winner was sent for a vet check at the conclusion of his swab after doing a complete flip at the pull up to the lure where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 5 | Auckland Co-op Taxis Sprint - C3 - 318 | SNICKO(hot fav) was only fairly away from box six and never gained a clear run there after being held up several times throuhout the running ,he even tried to push his way out from behind runners when racing in to the home straight when he pushed MISS ARKANSAS out , however was not able to catch the kennel mate ASTON RED in the run to the wire eventually finishing in 3rd position at the line,, and could be considered an unlucky runner on the day |
| Race 6 | The Brownzy Sports Bar Stakes - C1 - 527 | ALABASTER (fav) slipped a stride out of the boxes then raced up handy on the rail ,soon after TATA SAFARI came across on to him where ALABASTER was checked he moved out in to the centre of the track down the back straight with TATA SAFARI racing outside of him they both drifted back a couple of lengths and came together again on the home turn with ALABASTER then was observed to be uncomfortable in his action racing down the home straight where he finished in 2nd to last placing at the line ALABASTER was sent for a vet check |
| Race 7 | $50,000 Terminating Pick6 Stakes - C3 - 527 | WINSOME RITE the early leader started to give a bit of ground as they raced across the top bend , he was observed to shorten stride in the home straight to finish in last placing at the line WINSOME RITE was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found On the point of the home turn OSTI'S RUBY nudged HUSTLER from behind when attempting to gain a run with HUSTLER being hampered for a stride or so |
| Race 8 | Bethells Farmstay for dogs on Facebook Sprint - C2 - 318 | Racing in to the first there was tightning to THRILLING KITE as MARKS PET and SPRING TYDE came together pushing over on to THRILLING KITE who was checked and pushed over on to SAFARI PARTY as this dog raced through THRILLING KITE went back towards the rear of the field ,she ran on well for 4th placing at the line BINGO STARR was forced to go out very wide in to and around the top bend as SPRING TYDE came out off MARK'S PET with BINGO STARR covering a lot of extra ground finishing towards the rear at the line |
| Race 9 | Sel's TAB Mangere Stakes - C4/5 - 527 | Racing around the first turn PRINCESS SHILOH came down on to FANCY STEP with MACHIN SHIN being checked back when caught in between them losing a couple of lengths at that point |
| Race 10 | Reel-Fishin.com Sprint Series Final - C5f - 318 | On the point of the top bend ONIE'S LAD and GENTLE ATTACK were checked as MOODY MAN came in slightly with GENTLE ATTACK catching a heel and stumbling with ONIE'S LAD going back to the rear finishing in last placing at the line The Trainer of ONIE'S LAD requested a vet check also advising the Stewards that the dog will not be perservered with any further |
| Race 11 | Go The Warriors Stakes - C1/2 - 527 | ICHI NI from wide out came across and tightened runners ,then as they raced around the first bend DECADENT came in slightly with SEEING EXCUSES over reacting and ran in on to the heels of ICHI NI and falling SEEING EXCUSES regained his feet and luckily carried on chasing the field some distance behind to the pull up , SEEING EXCUSES was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C5 - 318 | There was no head on coverage for this race WINSOME ACHEIVER was slow away and soon lost a couple of lengths to the rear ,racing acxross the top CAWBOURNE STARS was checked when he was forced to move out as COOL IDOL was racing through on the fence CAWBOURNE STARS went back a couple of lengths ,he recovered to finish midfield at the line |
