Judicial report: Trainer Mrs H Laagland was given permission to wear a cardigan over her short sleeve shirt for race 6 only on todays card due to a medical condition, this permission granted is for today only
SHIRONA was declared a late scratching from race 9 by the Stewards after Trainer A Bowen contacted the club stating that due to a breakdown in transport he would not be able to get the dog to the track SHIRONA has been stood down under Rule 64.5 until the matter is resolved
The Stewards will be investigating this matter

Race 1	September Maiden Series Final - C0f - 375	EXCITING GIRL was tightened soon after the start and lost a couple of lengths and never recovered to get in to contention from there on in PREDATOR DRONE had to check back off the heels slightly as SHELLY SHELBY crossed to the rail as they raced in to the first turn.
Race 2	YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C1 - 375	TUIS PLEASE and BEING FRANK were slow away Racing in to the first turn FIGIAN SAM was tightened as PUNK PORTSEA came across with FIGIAN SAM catching a heel of BELLA ENFORCER which caused him to stumble and fall ,TUIS PLEASE and BEING FRANK were directly in behind this incident and were both checked losing a good 5 or so lengths with them finishing some distance behind at the line FIGIAN SAM regained his footing to finish on to the lure some distance back and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 3	Clubhouse Sports Bar Stakes - C0 - 457	BRIANS IDOL was slow away and was unable to improve there after finishing in last position at the line in a fast run race TAKE THE MICK and FANCY TOBY came together for a couple of strides as they raced in to the first turn
Race 4	Varvatos At Stud Stakes - C3 - 457	Racing down to the first turn LADY MARIANNE got on the heels of HARAJUKU GIRL for a couple of strides and then was forced to race out wide across the top bend as she looked to improve HARAJUKU GIRL was away well with the field ,drifted back and finished a few lengths last at the line Even though this was a step up in class she had won 2 races here in good fashion recently and was sent for a vet check as a precaution where no abnormalities were found
Race 5	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Series Final - C1f - 457	LOCHINVAR VALERO wasn't best away and came together with PAMPEST for a stride soon after when looking for racing room ran out when avoiding the heels of LOCHINVAR LAREDO losing more ground ,where he was not able to get in to contention from there on in finishing in the rear
Race 6	All Sew Embroidery Sprint - C2 - 375	CAPTAIN COUTTS (fav) was slow away losing 3 or so lengths at the start Racing in to the first turn CAPTAIN COUTTS after being caught out wide tried to move in and collided with VIBURNUM who was turned sideways in to THRILLING KITE who got on heels and stumbled and in regaining her balance ran outwards taking VIBURNAN almost off the track on to the grass on the top bend THRILLING KITE looked to have broken down on the point of the top bend ,but recovered to gallop down the straight to the lure THRILLING KITE was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 7	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Stakes - C1 - 457	Racing in to the first turn PARNELL and GIRL CHARM came together slightly as JUBILEE LINE in behind them was looking to improve in to the field ,JUBILEE WINE ran up on the back of GIRL CHARM who was dragged down with JUBILEE WINE falling over the top of her Both dogs recovered there footing to finish on to the lure and were sent for vet check JUBILEE LINE was vetted with no abnormalities found. GIRL CHARM was vetted with no abnormalities found
Race 8	Happy Birthday Maxine Sprint - C3 - 375	THRILLING LEE was a late scratching due to a seasonal complaint with a 28 day stand down imposed From the boxes WHATS SHE PAYNE raced across the face of the field down to the rail causing slight checks to ASTO RED,HIT DA NOS, and THRILLING PUNCH
Race 9	Greyhounds North Maiden Distance Series Final - C0df - 650	SHIRONA was declared a late scratching by the Stewards when Trainer A Bowen contacted the club to advice that he was having transport difficulties and could not get the dog to the course (refer judicial) The early leader WINSOME FLASH raced wide down the back straight and around the top bend forcing the eventual winner THRILLING BRAT to cover a lot of extra ground through out the running
Race 10	Te Awamutu Self Storage Sprint - C5 - 375	CHA CHA CHAINSAW checked off heels racing in to the first turn which cost him momentum and a couple of lengths and could not recover to get back in to contention from there in a fast run race
Race 11	Hautapu Veterinary Clinic Stakes - C4 - 457	LOCHIVAR YASI was akwardly away from the boxes Soon after the start THRILLING CAIRO came across on to SALVADOR BALE and BIG LASS with these dogs being checked back a length or so ,soon after SALVADOR BALE raced across towards the rail and collided with the rail dropping to the rear finishing in that position at the line SALVADOR BALE was sent for a vet check where he was found to have suffered a grazed thigh and right hind toe with a 5 day stand down recommended
Race 12	Kirstie McGrail at Harcourts Stakes - C5 - 457	Racing across the top bend JABU had come off the rails a couple of widths ,then went down again causing COLD FINGERS to catch his heels momenterily JABU lost his hind feet for a stride or so , was not able to get back in to contention from there on in
