Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Starter Bill Eckhold, and handlers Brett Conner and Michael May were each fined $100 after admitting charges of negligence under Rule 88.1.o when BOMBAY TRAM and COT CASE CUTIE started from the wrong boxes in Race 1. Under Rule 78.15 BOMBAY TRAM and COT CASE CUTIE were both disqualified from their 5th and 6th placings respectively.

Race 1	Jet Bet 10 First4 Sprint - C2 - 310	BOMBAY TRAM was last to jump. He ran on well for fifth. CULVIE CORGI ran outwards soon after the jump on to COT CASE CUTIE and STATE DA OBVIOUS with these runners losing ground. Immediately following this race it was noticed that BOMBAY TRAM and COT CASE CUTIE (placed 5th and 6th respectively) had not started from their correct boxes. In accordance with Rule 78.15 these two runners were both disqualified. (See judicial).
Race 2	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Stakes - C2 - 545	CROSSFIRE MAX ran outwards with KNOW PERIL and BRASSED OFF both losing ground as a result.
Race 3	Roofing Solutions Sprint - C2 - 310	HOMEBUSH EDITH was last to jump. SING CILLA BLACK ran outwards in the back straight with RANGITOTO ROHI, OLD MATE DAVE, OH OTIS and REAL SLIM SHADY all being inconvenienced and losing ground.
Race 4	Commercial Tavern Green Island Sprint - C3 - 310	HOMEBUSH JAG was last to jump.
Race 5	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C3 - 545	GUTTER BLACK and SLIGHTLY AMAZING were the last to jump. GUTTER BLACK was tightened in between runners into the bend and dropped away. A post race veterinary check revealed a thigh muscle injury with a ten day stand down recommended.
Race 6	Keyosk Service Bar Sprint - C4 - 310	HOMEBUSH REECE ran inwards soon after the jump checking GENISTA OUTLAW who in turn ran inwards contacting MOST HAUNTED. GENISTA OUTLAW was again checked into the bend and dropped to the rear with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 7	Far South Inter-Island Challenge Heat (Group 2) - C5q - 545 Heat 1	KNOW SPUNK and AWESOME BENDER were the last to jump. KNOW SPUNK ran outwards into the bend pushing EMILY BAXTER outwards with that runner losing ground. DYNA FRIER then checked off the back of KNOW SPUNK and lost many lengths. AWESOME BENDER ran outwards into the back straight checking EMILY BAXTER who dropped to the rear. EMILY BAXTER and DYNA FRIER came together on the home turn when well back.
Race 8	Speeprint Shop Sprint - C4/5 - 310	HOMEBUSH BAKUGAN ran inwards at the jump checking DA BOSS who dropped to the rear. BLACK PAN then ran outwards coming together with HOMEBUSH BAKUGAN with BLACK PAN losing ground.
Race 9	Far South Inter-Island Challenge Heat (Group 2) - C5q - 545 Heat 2	MORIARTY, STARBURST SUZIE and SAM I AM all came together when in racing in tight quarters into the bend and lost ground. MAMAJA appeared to brush the running rail at the end of the back straight losing momentum and settling towards the rear.
Race 10	Triple Hit Sprint Series 2 - C5q - 310 Heat 4	FLIP THE DICE and LES BAXTER was slow to jump. Into the bend CAWBOURNE LISA checked outwards off ANOTHER MATE as that runner crossed from the outside. FLIP THE DICE then checked off both runners and ran outwards coming into contact with LES BAXTER and badly checked that runner. Stewards viewed the back straight replay of the race to determine whether any marring had taken place and were satisfied that FLIP THE DICE had run outwards with the momentum of the check he received and had not deliberately turned his head towards LES BAXTER.
Race 11	Triple Hit Sprint Series 2 - C5q - 310 Heat 5	KNOW ATTENTION and WANDY CHICK were the last to jump. WHERES ROBYN angled outwards into the bend causing CAWBOURNE MOFF to change ground to her inside and lose some ground in the process. GRACE HILL ran outwards on the home turn forcing WHERES ROBYN and WANDY CHICK wider with WANDY CHICK being checked and dropping out to last.
Race 12	Triple Hit Sprint Series 2 - C5q - 310 Heat 6	KNOW RIVAL was last to jump. Into the bend CALLAHAN checked outwards into LIAM BALE after contacting CAWBOURNE FELIX. SIX TO MIDNIGHT was badly checked and fell at this stage with ANOTHER GON being badly checked in behind. KNOW RIVAL veered outwards in an attempt to avoid these dogs and ran into the outside fence losing its feet. Post race veterinary checks on KNOW RIVAL and ANOTHER GON revealed no injuries but SIX TO MIDNIGHT was found to have be sore with a seven day stand down recommended.
