| Race 1 | ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C1 - C1 - 305 | PHANTOM FOG shifted in soon after the start and checked JACKIE SHIRAZ who lost ground and went back to last. JUST TIANA shifted in going to the first corner and caused a slight check to PHANTOM FOG which resulted in that runner going back onto BILLY HAKA. BILLY HAKA then went back and out causing a check to REQUEST FUNDING who fell and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with quadricep and tricep muscle pain. |
| Race 2 | HARRISON HIRE MASTER C2 - C2 - 305 | LANSVALE SPARK was slow to begin losing two lengths and he stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. DOING THE TIME drew box 7 and was forced to race wide, particularly on the bend and she finished in the rear group. |
| Race 3 | GUTHRIE BOWRON C3 - C3 - 305 | THRILLING JJOSH was a little slow to begin and settled at the rear. HOMEBUSH JEM checked off the heels of GLENADDIS on the first corner and went back onto THRILLING JOSH with both runners losing ground and all chance of a dividend placing. THRILLING JOSH was the most affected and he lost several lengths. |
| Race 4 | MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS C1 - C1 - 520 | PETROL VOUCHER and SHARKIES DREAM were slow to begin losing three lengths. SHARKIES DREAM recovered to make up ground for 4th placing but PETROL VOUCHER tailed the field throughout to finish in last place. GO BOOF shifted in from the start and checked COOKED THE BOOK, SHADOWS MATE and LOTTO RASPBERRY and they lost ground. COOKED THE BOOK recovered best of the three affected runners and he went on to win the race. |
| Race 5 | MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR C3 - C3 - 305 | Going to the first corner, RENNERS GIFT made contact with CAWBOURNE DRAGS hind quarters turning that runner sideways. At the same time and further out, MAJOR HIT and KEITHY GEE collided and MAJOR HIT shifted in slightly and galloped on the back of GINA MAC and a few strides later, KEITHY GEE also galloped on the heels of GINA MAC. As a result of both incidents, MAJOR HIT, RENNERS GIFT, KEITHY GEE and GINA MAC all lost ground and all chance of a first three placing with RENNERS GIFT recovering the best of those affected and he finished in 4th place. CAWBOURNE DRAG appeared sore following the race, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with pain in the deltoid and bicep muscles. |
| Race 6 | PALAMOUNTAINS NUTRITION C3 FEATURE - C3 - 520 | COOL ROYALE shifted out from the start and hindered HOMEBUSH WARRIOR and HI JEAN for a couple of strides. BOTANY ANN was tightly placed between runners on the first corner and was galloped on by TAILS OFF and almost fell. MR JAZZ MAN, VISIONARY MAN, and HI JEAN were also affected in the incident and lost ground. BOTANY ANN lost several lengths and tailed the field from there to the finish and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 7 | COUPER CATERING C2 - C2 - 520 | LOUIE MACHALL shifted in from the start and hindered MY BAD JONNY, BOTANY ADAM and THRILLING ANNIE for a few strides. THRILLING ANNIE and MY BAD JONNY bumped together going to the first corner and MY BAD JONNY was checked and went back to near the rear and stayed back to finish in last place. HOMEBUSH DIP checked over the heels of RAMESSEE on the first corner and shifted out forcing BOTANY ADAM to run wide into the bend. |
| Race 8 | KEENAN CONCRETE WANGANUI C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | REGAL DANCER shifted in from the start and checked FREDDY JOHN and GUY BAXTER who both lost ground. TARRA MAGIC was checked with a circuit to run losing three lengths but she recovered to finish in 2nd place. REGAL DANCER checked over the heels of OLYMPIC ACE going into the first corner and ran a little wide on the bend. |
| Race 9 | MEDIA WORKS C5 - C5 - 305 | CAWBOURNE JOSE and SEDGEBROOK ELITE were a little slow to begin losing two lengths. ROYAL PARDON was forced to race wide throughout after starting from box 8 and she was bumped and checked on the home turn when SEDGEBROOK ELITE shifted out and ROYAL PARDON finished in last place. |
| Race 10 | CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | KILMAINHAM CHILL, OKAYS DE BRITTO, BUDDY BROKE and GREYWINDS KOBY were all slow to begin. BUDDY BROKE and GREYWINDS KOBY recovered to finish in 1st and 2nd places but the other two slow beginners stayed back to finish in the last two places. |
| Race 11 | BROAD ROOFING C4 - C4 - 305 | The favourite FREDAS ANGEL was a little slow to begin but made up ground quickly to be in 2nd place on the first corner but then checked off the heels of the leader FLAG WAVER and lost two lengths. UPAHUT CRYSTAL shifted out going to the first corner and checked OPAWA MEGASTAR who went from a handy position, back to last. ART DECO was also checked in the incident and lost ground. ANOTHER DRIZZLE checked over the heels of ART DECO approaching the home turn and shifted out forcing OPAWA MEGASTAR very wide over extra ground and she finished in last place. |
| Race 12 | WANGANUI SECURITY C4 - C4 - 305 | TWENTY SIXTY was checked on the first corner and went back causing checks to OPAWA THORN and SOUTHERN EIGHTY with the last mentioned runner being the most affected and he lost four lengths. TWENTY SIXTY recovered to finish in 2nd place. RONS SECRET was disputing the lead on the bend but was checked and dropped back quickly to the rear. IGNITE THE LIGHT and MOLLY DARLING were also checked in the incident and they stayed back to finish in the last three places. |
