| Race 1 | Super Pets Dash - C1 - 295 | Homebush Norman shifted inwards on jumping and made firm contact with Mrs Patch which was checked losing all chance ,in this movement Homebush Norman also contacted the hind legs of Cawbourne Chloe which was hampered. |
| Race 2 | Challenge Opawa All Up Sprint - C0 - 295 | Into the first bend Make Your Mark shifted inwards and made firm contact with Jumping Jalapeno which dipped and lost considerable ground finishing a long last .A post race veterinary inspection of Jumping Jalapeno revealed no injury.Trainer R Cockburn informed the stewards that the incease of 2.1kg in weight for Jumping Jalapeno was planned. |
| Race 3 | CGRC Stayer Of The Year Dangle The Carat Stakes - C2 - 520 | Walk Da Torque was slow to begin .Rounding the first bend Wave Your Hand and Wheres The Key made contact with both runners losing momentum.What A Mate returned to the lure with a foot laceration and was attended to by the clubs veterinarian with no stand down imposed. |
| Race 4 | Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C0 - 295 | The start of this event was delayed 2 minutes due to preceding event at Invercargill running late.Homebush Sienna was slowest in to stride.Cawbourne Flick shifted down the track making contact and checking Fur Patrol. Mr Big Stuff and Five of Hearts made firm contact in the run to the first bend which resulted in both runners checking and Five of Hearts being dragged down in this incident .A post race veterinary inspection of Five of Hearts revealed no injury. |
| Race 5 | CGRC Trainer Of The Year John McInerney Stakes - C0 - 520 | Homebush Lacey was slow to begin .Into the first bend Play Pretend shifted outward off the rails and in doing so forced Shadow Feet into the line of Glam Nation which was checked , also affected in this incident where the trailing runners Funny Money and Star Chica, with both these runners being forced wider on the track. |
| Race 6 | Happy Birthday Kirsty Taylor Sprint - C1 - 295 | In the run to the first bend both Ohoka Bella and Katie Haka were squeezed between runners and checked losing all chance. |
| Race 7 | Angler's Arms Tavern Dash - C1 - 295 | Gazzas Pride made contact with both Homebush Rosebud and Another Street in the run to the first bend when looking to clear runners and find running to the outside of the field. |
| Race 8 | Little Brown Jug Maiden Final - C0f - 520 | Naevia checked off the heels of Okuku Surprise in the run to the first bend . Okuku Surprise raced greenly after this and ran wide on the first turn forcing Homebush Iris wider on the track. |
| Race 9 | CGRC Sprinter Of The Year Business Time Dash - C2 - 295 | The start of this event was delayed 2 minutes due to the preceding race from Te Rapa running late.Homebush Lignite and Homebush Batman were both slow over the initial stages .When questioned about the dissapointing performance of favoured runner Homebush Lignite, J McInerney stated that the dog is better suited to an inside box draw . A post race veterinary inspection of Homebush Lignite revealed no abnormalities . |
| Race 10 | Shirley Veterinary Centre Dash - C1 - 295 | Into the first bend Lyndour Gem and Cools TheTune came together with Lyndour Gem running wide around the bend. Cools The Tune checked off the heels of Okuku Lilly rounding the bend losing all chance . |
| Race 11 | CGRC Greyhound Of The Year Winsome Opawa Stakes - C1 - 520 | Hoota Said was slow to begin . Ohoka Zoe ,Jonny Jet and Duke Of Fern all came together and bumped shortly after the jump . Jonny Jet and Know Future jostled for some distance on straightening . |
| Race 12 | Speight's Dash - C1 - 295 | In the run to the first bend Zoes Key was squeezed between runners and lost ground . Ohoka Summer was checked by Lady In Shade which shifted in when rounding the bend , shortly after Uncle Earl was galloped on from behind by Lady In Shade and fell heavily .Uncle Earl fractured a left fore leg in this incident and was attended to by the clubs veterinarian, with connections reporting to stewards that it is their intention to retire the dog. Turning for home Lady In Shade and What Where When came together and made contact with both runners being unbalanced momentarilly. |
