Judicial report: The meeting was held in bitterly cold conditions with the track in a safe condition after a lot of rain yesterday.

| Race 1 | Otago First4 Sprint - C1 - 310 | PEGSON FIRE ran outwards tightening KIWARA TREY for a stride into the bend. On the home turn STARBURST LEE checked outwards as MY GIRL MARINA crossed to the fence in front. |
| Race 2 | Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Stakes - C0 - 545 | FELIXSTOWE ran inwards soon after the jump contacting HAMPDEN SPIRIT and SECRET NICOLE who lost ground. MR. KNOWALL checked off the back of SECRET NICOLE in the early stages and lost ground. OLD OZARK and SECRET VENUS both ran very wide into the first bend. On the home turn SECRET VENUS wanted to run inwards as GO CARTER was attempting to get to the outside with these dogs coming together on three occasions. |
| Race 3 | Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C0 - 310 | SECRET ICE was slowest to jump and then stumbled for a stride settling last. HIT THE LIP and HUSKER DU came together for a stride soon after the jump. Into the bend BELFAST CHUKKA checked outwards off the back of HUSKER DU and cannoned into SECRET ICE who lost ground. HIT THE LIP ran outwards on to JESTER on the home turn with JESTER dropping away to finish last. A post race veterinary check of JESTER revealed no injury. |
| Race 4 | Roofing Solutions Ltd Sprint - C2 - 310 | CAWBOURNE HELEN was last to jump. FULLA PRIDE was keen to get away from the rail in the run down the back straight and checked itself on two occasions. On the home turn FULLA PRIDE checked outwards off RANGITOTO ROHI and lost more ground. |
| Race 5 | Speedprint Shop Stakes - C1 - 545 | HOOTA SAID was the last to emerge from the traps. HOOTA SAID then checked off the back of MY BLIND SIDE on the first bend when attempting to improve and lost ground. WATERVIEW LASS and MISS OZARK ran wide around the first bend losing ground. At the end of the back straight WATERVIEW LASS ran into the back of MY BLIND SIDE when running into the race and lost momentum and her chance. The trainer of the favourite CAWBOURNE EMO Calum Weir was questioned by Stewards in regards to the run. This dog made the pace until the home turn weakening out to sixth. He stated that he was very disappointed with the run as she had been trialling well over middle distances. He will check the dog thoroughly before her next start and report any findings to Stewards. |
| Race 6 | President's Sprint - C1 - 310 | MR. CAMEROON, BLACK OZARK and UNCLE EARL were all slow to jump. KUNG FU TEDDY stumbled for a stride soon after the start while BLACK OZARK ran inwards at this point. This checked MR. CAMEROON, KUNG FU TEDDY and LYNDOUR GEM with these runners settling in the rear half of the field. BLACK OZARK was checked from behind into the bend for a stride. The co-trainer of the winner COT CASE CUTIE Alan Joyce was questioned in regards to the vastly improved showing of his bitch. He told Stewards that she had received an infected toe in August and was rested due to that injury. As a result she was fresh for today's run and able to jump better than she had been. A recent downgrade was also in her favour. |
| Race 7 | Keyosk Service Bar Sprint - C3 - 310 | KNOW WONDER was very slow to jump. She passed a few in the run home to finish fifth. KINGA RYAN was tightened and struck the rail in the back straight losing ground. This dog then ran outwards pushing GENERAL BOWIE and GENISTA LIGHTNIN wide around that bend with all of these runners losing momentum. A post race veterinary check of KINGA RYAN revealed no injury. |
| Race 8 | www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C2 - 545 | SLIGHTLY AMAZING tried to run outwards in the first run down the home straight and this combined with pressure from the outside from the hot favourite SIDESHOW BOB meant that these two dogs and OH OTIS were all checked. OH OTIS then ran outwards checking WHAT A MATE into the first bend. SIDESHOW BOB recovered to run into third once in the clear. WALK DA TORQUE ran very wide around the first bend losing ground and pushed WAVE YA HAND wider. |
| Race 9 | Triple Hit Sprint Series 1 - C5q - 310 Heat 1 | The favourite CHEETAH WOODS was last to jump. He ran on well when clear for third. COVELLE was tightened as CALLAHAN ran outwards into the bend and fell. He regained his paws and completed the race with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. CALLAHAN received a check on the home turn as CHEETAH WOODS shouldered his way into the clear with CALLAHAN losing some momentum. |
| Race 10 | A.F. Johnston Electrical Stakes - C3/4 - 545 | SLICE OF MAGIC was last to leave the traps. BAKE BEAN BETTY and HOMEBUSH FRASER both ran wide into the first bend. ZITA GRACE ran outwards marginally on the home turn checking HAMPDEN JACK for a stride and pushing the favourite ROCK CAKES wider. TORQUED UP was held up for room in behind these runners. HAMPDEN JACK weakened out to finish seventh after this incident with a post race veterinary check revealing severe cramp with no stand down recommended. OCTANE AL was found to have a dew claw injury with a five day stand down recommended. |
| Race 11 | Forbury Sprint - C4 - 310 | BRUNO and DONT FORGET JET were last to jump. CAWBOURNE LISA ran inwards sharply soon after the jump causing minor tightening to SWIP TASTIC, TIGER HOODS and GENISTA TORNADO. CAWBOURNE SCAREY brushed the rail and ran outwards losing ground in the back straight. On the turn BRUNO ran outwards causing CAWBOURNE SCAREY, SWIP TASTIC and DONT FORGET JET to all lose ground and their chances. |
| Race 12 | Triple Hit Sprint Series 1 - C5q - 310 Heat 2 | ANOTHER LEGIN and SUNSET BOMBER dropped to the rear soon after the jump. SUNSET BOMBER ran on late for fifth. |
| Race 13 | Triple Hit Sprint Series 1 - C5q - 310 Heat 3 | SIX TO MIDNIGHT and CAWBOURNE CATCH were last to jump. Into the bend STARBURST SUZIE ran off the rail and into the path of CAWBOURNE CATCH who lost ground with ICE ICE AMY also being checked in this incident. |
