| Race 1 | Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375 | DONKEY DEEP shifted in from the start and collided with DARLEK KHAN and they both lost ground but recovered well to finish in 1st and 2nd places. HOMEBUSH EDDIE and BREAKING MELODY collided on the first corner and HOMEBUSH EDDIE was the most affected and he went back to last and stayed well back to the finish. Two of the best supported runners WISE CRACK LAD and CYCLONE SIX bumped together going into the bend and they ran wide losing ground and finished in 5th and last places. |
| Race 2 | GEON Wellington C1 - C1 - 375 | BELFAST NODDIE and SHODSIE came together and bumped at the start. NUTS FOR SURE shifted in going to the first corner and bumped HOMEBUSH TAYLOR onto BELFAST NODDIE who was checked losing ground. Soon after, PIN UP PUPPY shifted out and checked SHODSIE who lost a little ground. SHODSIE and BELFAST NODDIE both recovered to finish in 1st and 3rd places. PIN UP PUPPY and CHASIN' CROWS bumped together on the home turn when racing well back and they finished at the rear. |
| Race 3 | Woodville Stakes C0 - C0 - 457 | HARRY HALL, DECEIVER and MCKONE came together and bumped going to the first corner and DECEIVER and MCKONE suffered the most and they lost four lengths and finished at the rear. |
| Race 4 | Peter Sinclair Photos C1 - C1 - 375 | The favourite TALEEDY TROOPER began awkwardly and lost ground and he then had to check across the heels of OH EMM EYE losing further ground when that runner shifted out slightly on the first corner. TALEEDY TROOPER was checked again on the home turn when MISS FOLEY shifted out and he finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 5 | Shannon Dash C2 - C2 - 375 | OKAY'S DERMATOFF and CHELSEA'S BEAUTY were slow to begin losing two lengths. GO CRASH galloped on the back of MS TOURNAMENTAL on the first corner and they both fell and GROOVY SHANE and CHELSEA'S BEAUTY were badly hindered in the incident losing all chance. MS TOURNAMENTAL and CHELSEA'S BEAUTY were examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. GO CRASH was also examined and stood down for 10 days with general bruising. |
| Race 6 | Sparky's Bar and Restaurant C2/3 - C2/3 - 375 | CRAZY BABY began a little awkwardly from box 8 and she then raced wide over extra ground and finished several lengths last. CRAZY BABY was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury. CAWBOURNE DRAG shifted in going to the first corner and checked LOW AND HIGHS and THRILLING JOSH who both lost ground. LITTLE BLACKSPOT was also slightly affected in the incident but recovered well to win the race. |
| Race 7 | Marton Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 | REGAL DANCER began awkwardly losing ground and she settled at the rear and stayed back throughout to finish in last place. The favourite I'M READY was one of the slowest away and he then raced a little wide on the bend and finished in 4th place. NIP TUCK was in 2nd place approaching the home straight but she ran very wide and dropped back to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 8 | Fielding Dash C5 - C5 - 375 | JUST DEFY THAT and DADDY LOWE came together and bumped soon after the start and JUST DEFY THAT went back to the rear and then ran very wide for the remainder of the race and finished several lengths last. SEMENYA was checked on the first corner losing two lengths. MINDARIVA made contact with the back of DADDY LOWE on the first corner and they lost a little ground. |
| Race 9 | Foxton Dash C2/3 - C2/3 - 375 | ANOTHER NICK raced in mid field until the home turn but then drifted back tio finish in last place and he was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a dew claw injury which required stitching. |
| Race 10 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C4 - C4 - 375 | JENNINGS jumped on terms with the other runners but drifted soon after and raced several lengths behind the 2nd last dog to finish in last place. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with abrasions and a carpal injury. LOOKS DECIEVING was checked on the first corner and then raced wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground and finished well back. |
| Race 11 | Hokowhitu Stakes C1 - C1 - 457 | RADAR SHIRAZ was the slowest to begin but made up ground very well to win the race. HOMEBUSH MELL was checked back to last on the bend but recovered to finish very well for 3rd place. PARRA SPARRA was mid field on the home turn but drifted back to finish in last place and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a quadricep injury. |
| Race 12 | Pahiatua Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457 | UPAHUT CINDY was handy going to the first corner but was checked losing five lengths and all chance of a first four placing. KEITHY GEE was checked soon after losing several lengths and he stayed back to finish in last place. |
