| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305 | WISE CRACK LAD shifted out in the back straight and jostled GUNNA EXCITE and forced that runner wide for several strides. BODHRAN CAILIN shifted out on the first corner and caused checks to itself and also GUNNA EXCITE and CAWBOURNE FLICK with all three dogs losing three lengths. BODHRAN CAILIN and GUNNA EXCITE collided on the home turn and both lost ground and they finished at the rear. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C1 Ht1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 | JUST MAC was handy to the lead with a circuit to run but eased and went back causing checks to PARRA SPARRA and GO BOOF and JUST MAC went into the first bend in last place and stayed back to finish in that position. JUST MAC was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury and he was then charged with failing to pursue the lure under Rule 80.1 b and after the hearing evidence and viewing D.V.D films, the charge was proven and JUST MAC was stood down for 28 days and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C0 - C0 - 305 | The favourite CAWBOURNE AVA jumped in the air as the box lids opened and she lost several lengths but made up ground to finish in 6th place. ZACCARA also began awkwardly and scrambled for a couple of strides losing four lengths and he stayed back to finish in last place. |

HAYLEYS WISH, BILLY HAKA, VINTAGE LACE and BOND ECLIPSE were checked onn the first corner and they never recovered and stayed back to finish ibn the last four places. |
| Race 7 | Mickey's Super Liquor C2 - C2 - 305 | CAWBOURNE TINA and MS TOURNAMENTAL were handy to the lead going to the first corner but collided and dropped back through the field onto RENNERS GIFT with all three losing several lengths and all chance and they finished at the rear. |
| Race 8 | Keenan Concrete C1 Ht 2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2 | INIGO JONES, BOTANY HORNET and LOTTO RASPBERRY were all checked soon after the start and INIGO JONES pulled up and the other two runners lost ground and settled at the rear. INIGO JONES was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with pain in an infraspinatus muscle and pain in the right calf muscle. DOUBLE TAPP and COOKED THE BOOK led on the first bend but bumped together and went back onto HOMEBUSH MELL who lost three lengths. COOKED THE BOOK and HOMEBUSH MELL recovered to finish in 1st and 2nd places. |
| Race 9 | Couper Catering C1 - C1 - 305 | WAIRERE MIRACLE and JUST TIANA collided soon after the start and JUST TIANA settledf back in the field. BUZZ OVER shifted in soon after and checked HOMEBUSH CRAIG and JUST TIANA with all three dogs losing ground. HOMEBUSH CRAIG checked over the heels of REDLINE CHAOS on the first corner and shifted out onto BUZZ OVER and they both lost ground and stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 10 | Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305 | One of the favourites LOTTO FUN was trapped wide throughout after starting from box 8 and he was checked entering the home straight when CAWBOURNE ELLEN shifted out and they collided and finished in the rear group. SHRECKLES was checked on the first turn losing several lengths and she finished in last place. HOMEBUSH SCOTTY was knocked over at the lure and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a very painful infraspinatus muscle injury. |

HOMEBUSH BREE went off stride running to the first corner and drifted out to finish several lengths last and she was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with pain in both pectoral muscles. SECRET CHLOE also drifted from the first corner and finished six lengths behind the main body of the field and she was also examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with pain in both pectoral muscles. |
