Judicial report: Trainer John McInerney reported that ANOTHER HIT and CAWBOURNE COL had both suffered injuries after racing last week.

Soon after KUNG FU TEDDY checked off KIWARA TREY when improving and lost many lengths dropping to the rear. A post race veterinary check of KUNG FU TEDDY revealed no injury. The trainer of CAWBOURNE BUNDY Andy McCook when asked about the improved performance of his dog told Stewards that the inside draw, his favourite track and a downgrade made him competitive. |
| Race 2 | BRENDON BURKE @ SOUTHERNWIDE - C1 - 390 | HOMEBUSH NORMAN crossed the field soon after the jump with only SHEZA COOL ONE and SING CILLA BLACK escaping the carnage. SENSITIVE LAND ran wdie on the home turn when well back. |
| Race 3 | 100% SELECTRIX - C2 - 390 | MORE MODEL, RANGITOTO ROHI and YAPSTER JEWEL all came together in the run to the bend with YAPSTER JEWEL dropping to the rear. LIGHTNING FEVER was tightened as MORE MODEL ran outwards into the bend and lost ground. LIGHTNING FEVER was then dragged down by YAPSTER JEWEL and dropped to the rear. A post race veterinary check of LIGHTNING FEVER revealed no injury. |
| Race 4 | COLORMARK SYSTEMS LTD - C3 - 390 | GENISTA OUTLAW ran outwards soon after the jump tightening BLACK SHELLEEN and VAMPIRES SHADOW. CAWBOURNE DUSTY took the line of WHERES JOHN CEE for a stride soon after but both dogs recovered quickly. |
| Race 5 | $26 FIVE WIRE MUZZLE STAKES - C4 - 390 | GENERAL BOWIE was last to jump. Into the bend CREPE MYRTLE was checked as WANDY CHICK crossed her with CREPE MYRTLE dropping out to finish last. |
| Race 6 | SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C1 - 457 | RED TIGER and SERAPHINE JEWEL came together on two occasions in the run down the back straight. MR. MEADE lost a length as MORNING WATCH crossed him into the bend. Soon after MISS OZARK checked off the back of SERAPHINE JEWEL when both dogs were well back. |

In the run down the back straight HOMEBUSH REECE ran inwards making heavy contact with KATE LEIGH who lost ground. A post race veterinary check of KATE LEIGH revealed a thigh muscle injury with a five day stand down recommended. WICHITA LINEMAN faltered just prior to the home turn and dropped away with a post race veterinary check revealing a broken hock with the dog being euthanised. |
| Race 8 | WILLY'S FLOORING LTD - C0 - 457 | BUBBA WHO and SECRET VENUS were last to jump. SECRET VENUS ran outwards in the back straight checking LIGHTNING PLAY who lost ground. Soon after BUBBA WHO received a check also losing ground. Into the bend KOMBUCHA ran inwards checking SECRET VENUS who lost some momentum. |
| Race 9 | NZRS Graduation Heats - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1 | JONNY JET and SECRET NICOLE were the last to jump. Into the bend KNOW PEACE ran inwards turning WHERES THE KEYS with that runner then angling outwards causing KNOW PEACE and WHAT WHERE WHEN to be forced wide and lose ground. Soon after THRILLING PEACH and SECRET NICOLE came together when racing at the rear. |
| Race 10 | NZRS Graduation Heats - NZRSq - 457 Heat 2 | TEPIRITA ALI was awkwardly away and then was checked by both HOMEBUSH LIGNITE and OKUKU DREAMER in the run down the back straight. OPAWA MIDNIGHT and TEPIRITA ALI came together when at the rear into the bend and lost ground. A post race veterinary check of HOMEBUSH LIGNITE revealed a sore shoulder on extension with a five day stand down recommended. |
| Race 11 | NZRS Graduation Heats - NZRSq - 457 Heat 3 | WALK DA TORQUE was badly checked into the bend and dropped to the rear where he stayed. |
| Race 12 | justracing.com.au - C4 - 390 | Favourite TIGER HOODS was last to jump. SWIP TASTIC ran inwards soon after the jump tightening GEORGIE LEE, TEPIRITA TIKI and BRUNO on his inside. COOL JORDIE was badly checked into the bend and lost ground. On the home turn GEORGIE LEE ran inwards badly checking TEPIRITA TIKI with that runner losing all chance and running very wide. A post race veterinary check of TEPIRITA TIKI revealed no injury. The winner ANY BAD HABITS had a dew claw removed following the race with a seven day stand down recommended. |
