Judicial report: ROCKY BEND GIRL was a late scratching soon after 7.30am when being checked over by the trainer Mr N Green she was found to be suffering from a gracilus muscle injury, when questioned by the Stewards Mr Green said that he was satisfied with the dogs condition the previous evening and was surprised to find the dog had an injury this morning
Mr Green's explanation was accepted by the Stewards

Race 1	Trophies Plus Sprint - C2 - 318	FIGIAN SAM was slow away from the boxes ,he was further hampered as they raced in to the first turn when he ran up on the heels of ROTOVEGAS GIRL where he lost a couple of lengths he could not recover from this and finished towards the rear HIT DA NOS changed ground twice as the field raced in to the home straight when she was trying to get around the leader GEMZ
Race 2	September Maiden Series Heat 1 - C0q - 318 Heat 1	From the jump TWIN RIVERS came across on to EXCITING GIRL and MR DISH LICKER causing them to be tightened for a couple of strides TOP CAT (fav) wanted to race out wide from the boxes and ran in on to TEAM JACOB as this dog came out slightly racing in to the first turn this resulted in EXCITING GIRL getting on his heels and checking back on to JETSUN PEARL who was forced to go out wide to avoid heels racing across the top bend
Race 3	Auckland Vending Series Heat 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1	MOCCONA stumbled for a stride or so on leaving the boxes and was observed to be uncomfortable in her galloping action througout the race finishing a few lengths in last placing at the line ,MOCCONA was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found Trainer Mr A Lawrence advised the Stewards that Moccona would not be perservered with any longer Soon after the start there was tightning in the midfield as WHATA LADY came across on to PUNK PORTSEA, ASK SIX and HOMEBUSH TUI for a couple of strides
Race 4	September Maiden Series Heat 2 - C0q - 318 Heat 2	KARLA LEWINSKY (fav) was slow away from the start soon after STAR BOUND ran on to the back of SCARPA who lost his balance and ran in colliding with JETSUN WILKIE who was severly checked at this point KARLA LEWINSKY was trying to make up ground at this point was further hampered as JETSUN WILKIE ran on to the back of her ,STRAPPED FOR CASH was also hampered in this incident when endevouring to cross over as they raced in to the first turn when JETSUN WILKIE came out on to him as she was trying to regain her balance after being checked STRAPPED FOR CASH was forced to race out wide across the top bend
Race 5	Varvatos @ Stud Stakes - C2 - 527	THRILLING MARCH went up with the lids and lost a couple of lengths MISS JETSUN was handy in the running until midway along the back straight when she was observed to be uncomfortable in her galloping action ,she finished towards the rear and was sent for a vet check where she was found to be suffering from right pectoral muscle pain with a 10 day stand down recommended In the run down to the first turn SURFING AL came out off the rail and had to check back off the heels of GLORIANNA ,SURFING AL made good ground around the field from there on in to finish in 2nd placing at the line Racing in to the first turn BE DELICIOUS,CAFE CHIC and HAIR HE IS came together and were tightened and jostled for a couple of strides
Race 6	McGhie Plumbing Sprint - C3 - 318	Racing down to the first turn there was tightning as RHODA HOLMES came across on to CHA CHA CHAINSAW and THRILLING KITE with these dogs being checked THRILLING KITE ran out of racing room on the inner losing several lengths back to the rear
Race 7	Auckland Vending Series Heat 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 2	From the jump STORMY RHODE and CREAMY RICE collided with both dogs being knocked off balance momenterily LOCKLINNE came out of the boxes akwardly and became unbalanced for a couple of strides soon after racing down toi the first turn SWIFT SWINGER came across on to STORMY RHODE who was pushed over on to LOCKLINNE resulting in LOCKLINNE being squeezed back and had to check off the heels of STORMY RHODE LOCKLINNE lost approx 5 or so lenghts at this point and was not able to make up ground there after finishing in the rear
Race 8	$50,000 Terminating Pick6 Stakes - C1 - 527	Racing in to the home straight HARAJUKU GIRL who had led all way weakened the last bit and rolled out towards THRILLING APRIL as this dog moved in with both dogs coming together for a couple of strides with both dogs straightning up before the line There was no head on coverage of the home straight from Trackside
Race 9	The Brownzy Sports Bar Stakes - C4 - 527	CORNELIUS was slowest away from the boxes ,he made ground up through out the running to be in 4th position approaching the home turn when he had to check back off the heels of THRILLING CAIRO losing momentum ,he got going again to finish in 4th position at the line
Race 10	Auckland Vending Series Heat 3 - C1q - 318 Heat 3	There was no head on coverage for this race Racing in to the first turn AS FAST AS was racing up in a handy position ,was tightened as IMAGINATION came down on to her where she caught a heel of TODD and stumbled going back to the rear and she was not able to get in to contention from there on in finishing some lengths at the rear AS FAST AS went for a vet check and was found to have suffered a triceps injury with a 21 day stand down recommended
Race 11	Magness Benrow Stakes - C3/4 - 527	COLD FINGERS was the slowest away ,he stuck to the rail and got a clear run throuh out to run down BENNY ROX in the home straight to win Soon after the start ICHI NI came across on to MACHIN SHIN and MR CHINO tightning them severly for several strides resulting in MR CHINO and MACHIN SHIN going back to the rear where they never recovered to get back in to the race from there on in
Race 12	Carols TABS Sprint - C5 - 318	Soon after the start ROLLED OATS had to check off the heels of BLUE JEAN ALICE and went back to the rear losing 5 lengths and was not able to get in to contention from there on in KISSIN KATE (fav) was checked back as there was tightning in front of her resulting in her getting on heels and going back to the rear KISSIN KATE lost 5 or so lengths in this incident and was not able to get in to contention from there on in
Race 13	Jacks Wholesale Meats Sprint - C4 - 318	LOCHIVAR YASI went up with the lids losing a few lengths , he was able to gain a run up on the fence and was fortunate to miss interference on the top bend where he finished in 2nd position at the line On the point of the top bend ONE TOUGH COOKIE changed ground outwards to avoid heels and took PUNK SCOOTER and LACHLAN VALLEY very wide on the track ,ONE TOUGH COOKIE was able to get back down towards the rail soon after and finished in 3rd placing at the line ROCKY BEND GIRL was a late scratching soon after 7.30am when being checked by the trainer was found to have a gracilus muscle injury (refer judicial AUSTIN WILD was found to have suffered a toe dislocation on his right hind at the lure and was vetted with a 42 day stand down recommended
