Judicial report: At a hearing which was adjourned from Palmerston North on 29.08.2011 and under the minor infringement table, Trainer A.Speight admitted a charge of negligence under Rule 88.1 o when she failed to contact the Club Secretary to ascertain whether the reserve Greyhound NUTS FOR SURE had gained a start in race 2 at that meeting and she was fined $ 100-00. The Secretary had made numerous attempts to contact Ms Speight to advise of the dogs entry into the field the day prior to and on the day of the meeting. PRETTY SECRET completed a satisfactory trial which was required under the provisions of Rule 81.1.

Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C0 - C0 - 305	CAWBOURNE COL and ELLAVA SCRAP collided at the start but recovered quickly. CLANG AND BANG began well enough but drifted off the back of the field running to the first corner and finished several lengths last. He was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305	CAWBOURNE AVA shifted in from the start and checked COOL EXPLORER, ANOTHER WISH and BODHRAN CAILIN and soon after HOMEBUSH ANABEL shifted out and BODHRAN CAILIN was again checked losing several lengths and she never recovered and finished in last place. CAWBOURNE AVA shifted in on the first corner and CLUAIN MEALA shifted out which resulted in checks to HOMEBUSH ANABEL and GUNNA EXCITE who lost ground. HOMEBUSH ANABEL galloped on the back of COOL EXPLORER on the home turn and they both lost ground. COOL EXPLORER was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with a triangle muscle injury.
Race 3	Guthrie Bowron C1 - C1 - 305	JACKIE SHIRAZ, HOMEBUSH TAYLOR and THRILLING CAM jostled together from the start and they settled at the rear. JACKIE SHIRAZ and HOMEBUSH TAYLOR again came together running to the first corner and JACKIE SHIRAZ eventually checked losing two lengths and she stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 4	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 - C1 - 305	WINSOME KELLY was the slowest to begin and she stayed at the rear throughout the race. IN OR OUT shifted out gioing into the bend and forced CHASIN CROWS and FAWN ALLEGRO to race over extra ground .
Race 5	Morrie Gibbons Signs Final - C0f - 520	ALABASTER and RONAN MACHALL collided when the start was made and ALABASTER settled at the rear. CLICKETY CLACK, HOMEBUSH CRAIG, RONAN MACHALL and LEOS GIRL collided going into the first bend and they all lost a little ground. RONAN MACHALL shifted in going into the back straight and checked CLICKETY CLACK who lost several lengths and she stayued backl to finish in last place.
Race 6	Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 305	SHODSIE and HAYLEYS WISH were slow to begin losing three lengths. SHODSIE recovered to win the race but HAYLEYS WISH stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. URITI STORM was checked on the first corner and again on the bend and he finished several lengths last.
Race 7	Mickey's Super Liquor C2 - C2 - 305	The favourite RENNERS GIFT was slow to begin and he was then checked on the first corner losing further ground but recovered to finish well for 3rd placing. CAWBOURNE TINA shifted out on the first corner and checked CRYSTAL SAL who lost two lengths.
Race 8	"Elizabeth Whelan Bar Admission" C1 - C1 - 520	SMASH BANG WIN and ANOTHER STAR shifted out from the start and checked SHADOWS MATE who settled in the rear group. JONNY JET shifted in at the start and caused checks to BIGTIME UNO, MISS SNOW ANGEL and CHERRY TREE LANE who all lost ground. JONNY JET was checked on the first bend and went back onto BIGTIME UNO with both dogs losing three lengths.
Race 9	Couper Catering C1 - C1 - 305	ANOTHER MOVE was slow to begin losing four lengths but she made up ground to finish in 4th place.TINY TITCH shifted in from the start and checked THRILLING SIMONE who lost two lengths. HOMEBUSH BREE shifted out on the first corner and checked over the heels of TINY TITCH losing several lengths and she finished in last place.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520	The favourite OUR TOY COWBOY was a little slow to begin and was in last place going into the first corner where he had to check off the heels of BIGTIME COWELL losing ground. OUR TOY COWBOY was in the opinion of the Head Steward, not pursuing the lure from half way around the first bend until well into the back straight and dropped back to be several lengths behind the 2nd last dog. He then commenced to pursue again and ran on into 5th place at the finish. OUR TOY COWBOY was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury and was charged under Rule 80.1 b with failing to pursue the lure. After hearing evidence from the Steward in charge and also from Trainers representative B.Cole and viewing D.V.D films, the Adjudicating Steward dismissed the charge as there was doubt in his mind as to whether the earlier check had affected the performance of OUR TOY COWBOY.
Race 11	Broad Roofing Services C1 - C1 - 305	PICK A PEPPER was racing adjacent to the rail on the first corner but was checked losing six lengths and all chance and he finished in last place.
Race 12	Media Works C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH BUFFY and ANOTHER SPARKY were slow to begin losing two lengths and they stayed back to finish in the rear group.
