Judicial report: Under the minor infringement table, Trainer L.Ahern was fined $ 100-00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when BANDANNA PETE was presented 1.6 kilograms over its last start weight on 05.08.2011.
A inquiry was opened and adjourned until 31.08.2011 into the circumstances surrounding the non appearance and subsequent late scratching of NUTS FOR SURE who had gained entry to the field from the reserves in race 2.

Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	The favourite SHODSIE was very slow to begin losing five lengths. JAYVILLE FLYER shifted in from the start and chjecked CLUAIN MEALA and BREAKING MELODY who both lost ground. BREAKING MELODY shifted out on the first corner and checked JAYVILLE FLYER who went back and was galloped on by SHODSIE who lost ground in the incident but recovered to finish well for 3rd place.
Race 2	GEON Wellington C1 - C1 - 375	BELFAST NODDIE held a good lead on the bend and into the straight but faded badly over the concluding stages and finished in 4th place. He was examined by the Vet as a precaution and stood down for 7 days with soreness to quadricep asnd sartorious muscles.
Race 3	Woodville Dash C1 - C1 - 375	SPIRAL EBONY began awkwardly losing three lengths. INIGO JONES and SISTER VIRTUE collided soon after the start and SISTER VIRTUE lost two lengths.. DIRECT REPONSE checked off the heels of FLOATING AWAY on the first corner and lost ground. Soon after INIGO JONES checked off the heels of TALEEDY TROOPER and also lost ground. LISSADELL REBEL drew box 8 and raced wide throughout covering extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 4	Peter Sinclair Photos C2 - C2 - 375	HOMEBUSH KELLY and REGAL TENT collided on the bend losing ground and they finished at the rear. MS TOURNAMENTAL and QUEEN MOTHER were handy on the bend but collided losing four lengths and all chance of a first four placing. QUEEN MOTHER was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a quadricep muscle injury.
Race 5	Shannon Dash C3 - C3 - 375	BOMBER MAN shifted in sharply soon after the start and caused checks to BACK AT YA, KELBY HAKA, MISS TYRA, FLASH ENFORCER and LOW AND HIGHS who all lost ground. MISS TYRA was the most affected and she went back to last and stayed there to the finish. LOW AND HIGHS suffered a tricep muscle injury and was stood down for 4 days..
Race 6	Sparkys Bar and Restaurant C5 - C5 - 375	NIP TUCK was in 4th place on the bend but then ran wide on the home turn covering extra ground and drifted back to near the rear before running on once in the home straight and she finished in 4th place.
Race 7	NZRS Ht 1 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1	THRILLING TALE was checked soon after the start losing three lengths. He then collided with UNION STEAM going into the bend and they both lost ground. THRILLING TALE then checked over the heels of BLACK PAN and THRILLING GRIZZ on the home turn and ran wide into the straight.
Race 8	NZRS Ht 2 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 2	THRILLINNG RANSOM was slow to begin losing two lengths but he recovered to win the race. WODSTON BOBO shifted in from the start and checked VISIONARY MAN who then shifted out and collided with ASSEGAI. ASSEGAI and FLAG WAVER collided on the first corner and FLAG WAVER lost three lengths. RUN RILEY RUN, OPAWA GEM and VISIONARY MAN collided on the first corner losing several lengths and they finished at the rear.
Race 9	NZRS Ht 3 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 3	The favourite WINSOME OPAWA was the slowest to begin and he then bumped with REGAL DANCER going to the first corner and they were at the rear going into the bend. WINSOME OPAWA then ran on fairly to finish in 4th place.
Race 10	www.racingdogs.co.nz C3/4 - C3/4 - 375	MOLLY DARLING began very awkwardly losing several lengths. LARA PINTER and LOOKS DECIEVING collided on the bend and LOOKS DECIEVING then shifted out forcing MOLLY DARLING to race wide over extra ground and she finished in last place.
Race 11	Fielding Stakes C1 - C1 - 457	MICK MANIA shifted in from the start and pushed OKUKU BOBO in onto DOUBLE TAPP who lost ground. OKUKU BOBO shifted out on the first corner and checked MICK MANIA who lost several lengths and went back to last but did make up ground to fiinish 5th. OKUKU BOBO made contact with rail on the home turn and went back and was galloped on by DOUBLE TAPP. OKUKU BOBO drifted out to finish several lengths last and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with a quadricep injury.
Race 12	Foxton Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	KILMAINHAM CHILL and BANDANNA PETE were slow to begin losing three lengths. BANDANNA PETE recovered to finish in 2nd place but KILMAINHAM CHILL raced wide on the bend covering extra ground and finished in the rear group.
