| Race 1 | Super Pets Dash - C1 - 295 | TEPIRITA ACE was last to jump. The favourite OKUKU OLLIE checked off HOMEBUSH SARINA when improving into the bend and lost a length. Soon after TEPIRITA ACE got on the heels of OKUKU OLLIE and fell. He regained his feet and completed the journey with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 2 | Challenge Opawa All Up Sprint - C0 - 295 | BELFAST BILL was last to jump. FUR PATROL ran outwards into the bend and contacted HOMEBUSH GAZEL for a stride with both dogs losing ground. |
| Race 3 | Happy Birthday Darcy Poutama Stakes - C0 - 520 | LIGHTNING PLAY and OKUKU SKYHIGH were the last to jump. LIGHTNING PLAY remained well back until the home bend making good ground late for second. In the early stages HOMEBUSH IRIS was tightened and wider out FELIXSTOWE and OKUKU SKYHIGH came together losing momentum. On the home turn HOMEBUSH IRIS received another check and dropped to the rear. |
| Race 4 | Fanta Claws At Stud Dash - C0 - 295 | CAWBOURNE COOKIE, BELLA SIENNA and the favourite COOL CHARMER were all a touch slow to begin. HOMEBUSH CRAIG was clipped from behind by HUSKER DU for a stride soon after the jump but recovered quickly to lead. COOL CHARMER and CAWBOURNE COOKIE bumped for a stride prior to the bend. Soon after this OKUKU ZIP ran inwards causing some tightening to dogs on her inside with COOL CHARMER falling. She regained her paws and completed the race with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. OKUKU ZIP then ran outwards forcing BELLA SIENNA over extra ground. |
| Race 5 | Don't Lose Jimmy Cee Again Sprint - C1 - 295 | COOL LUCK was very slow from the inside remaining last throughout. ANOTHER MOVE was also tardy from the boxes. |
| Race 6 | greyhoundtips.co.nz Sprint - C0 - 295 | HURRY HOME and NEW ORDER were both slow to jump. LADY IN SHADES ran outwards into the bend and pushed the favourite MAN OH MAN wider with both dogs losing ground. LADY IN SHADES ran on well for second. HOMEBUSH ANABEL received a check on the turn losing ground. |
| Race 7 | Active Electrical Christchurch Ltd Stakes - C1 - 520 | KNOW SPARK was last to jump. JUST TEASING came together with PADDO SCORE for a stride into the first bend. On the home turn OKUKU DREAMER moved outwards and contacted GOTTA FIND BUBBA for a stride. |
| Race 8 | Robbie's Bar & Bistro Sprint - C1 - 295 | THATS COOL was slow to jump. Favourite CAWBOURNE FLIPPA received a slight bump from HOMEBUSH NORMAN as she crossed to the front. HOMEBUSH ROSEBUD and HOMEBUSH SCOTTY were also tightened in this incident. |
| Race 9 | Shirley Veterinary Centre Stakes - C1 - 520 | ARE TEE MAY scrambled for a stride on leaving the boxes. OHOKA ZOE ran outwards in the run to the first bend contacting FERAL DUCHESS with both dogs losing ground. |
| Race 10 | Buy Sell & Exchange Dash - C2 - 295 | HOMEBUSH LIGNITE was last to jump. CAWBOURNE LEVI ran outwards soon after the start checking CHELSEAS BABE and OH OTIS who lost momentum. ELOUERA BABE and CAWBOURNE LEVI came together when duelling for the lead into the bend. On the bend OHOKA DUKE was tightened as FIERY FLOWER came off the rail with OHOKA DUKE dropping to the rear. |
| Race 11 | Happy Birthday John McInerney Dash - C1 - 295 | HOMEBUSH BUFFY was very slow to leave the traps. MERMAN JEWEL ran outwards in the early stages making contact with KNOW TURBO and VISUAL ILLUSION with these runners settling well back. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C2 - 295 | CAWBOURNE HARVEY angled inwards into the bend tightening UNO IMOGENE, ANOTHER BREEZE, UNO JEWEL and KINGA COOP all of whom lost ground and remained in the second half of the field. |
