| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C0 - C0 - 305 | General tightening on the first corner resulted in checks to THAT IS ALL, BIT OR SOME, GUNNA EXCITE, SHODSIE and SAFFRON FLAHERTY who all lost ground. SHODSIE recovered best of those affected and he went on to win the race. THAT IS ALL made firm contact with the rail in the incident and she went back to last and finished in that position and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C0 Ht1 - C0q - 520 Heat 1 | WHANGANUI was slow to begin and he settled at the rear and could not keep up with the pace and finished several lengths last. The kennel representative G.Clarke was questioned regarding the poor run and stated that the dogs weight may be a little high and they will address this matter and he was also of the opinion that WHANGANUI'S relative inexperience may have been a contributing factor as it was only the dogs 2nd start. WHANGANUI'S next start performance will be closely monitored by the Stewards and a marked improvement will be expected. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C0 - C0 - 305 | KUROHARA turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the race and is required to complete a box trial before next racing. CAWBOURNE ELLEN jumped in the air and then stumbled in its initial stride out of the boxes losing four lengths and she finished well back. JAYVILLE FLYER shifted in on the first corner and checked COOL EXPLORER who lost four lengths and stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C0 Ht2 - C0q - 520 Heat 2 | TEAM JACOB, HOMEBUSH IRIS and REGAL STEP collided entering the back straight and they all lost ground. COOL THIEF was checked soon after losing four lengths and he stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 5 | Morrie Gibbons Signs C1 - C1 - 305 | One of the better supported runnners TRICKY PAULA disputed the lead to the first corner where he received a slight check and then drifted back through the field to finish in last place. She was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury. |
| Race 6 | Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 520 | SMASH BANG WIN who was well supported, was checked back to last going into the final bend and he never recovered and finished in that position. |
| Race 7 | Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305 | JOLOKIA shifted in from the start and checked BUZZ OVER, FAWN ALLEGRO and HAPPY CLAPPY who all lost ground. HAPPY CLAPPY and FAWN ALLEGRO were awkwardly placed between runners on the first corner and they went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish. RENNERS GIFT and SNICKO led to the home turn where they came together and SNICKO lost a little momentum for a couple of strides but recovered to finish 2nd behind RENNERS GIFT. |
| Race 8 | Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 520 | JONNY JET shifted in soon after the start and caused checks to MISS SNOW ANGEL and COOKED THE BOOK who both lost ground and settled towards the rear. COOKED THE BOOK recovered to finish in 2nd place but MISS SNOW ANGEL stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 9 | Couper Catering C1 - C1 - 305 | ANOTHER SPARKY began very awkwardly losing several lengths and he then ran out wide on the track from there to the first corner and stayed back to finish near the rear. RIVETTE DECODED shifted out on the first corner and checked HOMEBUSH BUFFY who lost four lengths and stayed back to finish last. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520 | SHADOWS MATE and TATA SAFARI collided soon after the start and settled at the rear but they made up ground to finish in 2nd and 3rd places. The favourite HARAJUKU GIRL began well enough to be handy on the first corner but drifted from there to be in last place in the back straight and finished in that position. HARAJUKU GIRL was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury. |

| Race 12 | Media Works C1 Feature - C1 - 305 | ANOTHER STAR shifted in from the start forcing CATCH A PENNIE in onto VACCINIUM who lost several lengths and all chance and she finished in last place. MISS FOLEY shifted out on the first corner and this resulted in jostling to HOMEBUSH JODIE, HOMEBUSH TAYLOR, ANOTHER STAR and CATCH A PENNIE . |
