Judicial report: A large number of Greyhounds were scratched without penalty due to the very bad weather which resulted in road closures, the cancellation of ferry sailings and hazardous driving conditions.

Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C0 - C0 - 305	BIG EFFORT shifted in from the start and checked ELLAVA SCRAP and STONES RIVER who both lost ground. ELLAVA SCRAP shifted in on the first corner and made firm contact with the rail and went back to last. ELLAVA SCRAP was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. INTENSE ZOOM ran wide on the bend covering extra ground but made up ground to finish in 2nd place.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 520	All clear.
Race 3	Guthrie Bowron C0 - C0 - 305	BREAKING MELODY led to the first corner but ran wide over extra ground and finished in 3rd place.
Race 4	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 - C1 - 305	REQUEST FUNDING was slow to begin but made up ground to finish in 3rd place. PENIES FROM began well to be handy on the first corner but then drifted back causing a check to HOMEBUSH TAYLOR who lost three lengths. PENIES FROM continued to drift and finished several lengths last and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with pain in a trapezius muscle.
Race 5	Morrie Gibbons Signs C1 - C1 - 305	RENNERS GIFT and KATIE HAKA bumped together soon after the start and KATIE HAKA dropped back to the rear and she stayed there to finish in last place.
Race 6	Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 305	CAWBOURNE SMUDGE shifted out on the bend and forced the leading dog TONYS PEDRO wide over considerable extra ground and she went from leading back to last and finished in that position. it was suspected that CAWBOURNE SMUDGE had turned its head towards TONYS PEDRO but the films were not conclusive and CAWBOURNE SMUDGE'S future racing manners will be closely monitored.
Race 7	Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 520	JABU shifted in entering the back straight and forced UPAHUT CINDY in onto PARRA SPARRA who was checked losing three lengths.
Race 8	Wanganui Security C2 - C2 - 305	YA GUNNA was tightened between CRYSTAL SAL and HOMEBUSH CINDY soon after the start and lost ground. HEALING CRYSTAL shifted in on the first corner and YA GUNNA was again checked losing several lengths and she stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 9	Keenan Concrete C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	TIZA FEVER shifted in on the first corner and hindered HOMEBUSH MELL who lost ground. TIZA FEVER did not appear to be striding out correctly going into the final bend and he drifted back to finish five lengths last and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with wrist pain.
Race 10	Couper Catering C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH NELSON shifted in on the first corner and checked PICK A PEPPER who went back onto SHOWTIME ADDIS and they lost several lengths and all chance. RHYME IN MELODY led until the first corner but ran wide on the bend and into the straight and this probably cost the dog the chance of winning instead of finishing in 2nd place.
Race 11	Broad Roofing Services C1 - C1 - 305	HAYLEYS WISH was slow to begin but made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. OH EMM EYE was handy on the first corner but was checked and went back onto THRILLING SIMONE and they lost several lengths and finished at the rear. GO CRASH checked over the heels of BILLY HAKA on the first corner and shifted out onto NELLY FLAHERTY. GO CRASH then recovered to win the race.
Race 12	Media Works C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH BERNIE was checked on the first corner losing four lengths but he recovered to finish in 3rd place. IN OR OUT moved through on the inside of HOMEBUSH BREE on the bend and they made contact and ASH VEGAS racing on the outside was checked losing three lengths and she finished in 2nd last place.
